Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Milwaukee

This Airbnb was so cozy and clean! Beautifully decorated as well! The host was super friendly and had lots of great recommendations. Great location, lots of bars and restaurants near by. Quick and easy walk! Would certainly stay here again if in the area!

Had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place. The duplex was as described, communication from the host was excellent, and I adore the mid century modern decor. I’ll be back in the area in 2026 and if the timing works, I’d love to stay here again.

This house was the perfect place to stay when visiting Milwaukee! It was so easy to get to everything. Quick drives to downtown and Am Fam Field. We really appreciated little things too like having paper plates etc available to use and fun games to play at night with the fam!

Matt and Karla were so kind and quick to answer our questions before and during our trip! Cute little house and perfect place for a long weekend with friends!!

Beautiful spot on Brewer Hill. A short walk from downtown, but in a very quite and peaceful neighborhood.

I grew up in this area and this duplex has the exact layout of many houses I spent time in as a child. Shorewood has lots of houses with efficient layouts, and like so many this was well designed to use every bit of space. We were in town for a funeral, so it wasn't the most fun week, but the house gave us a space to retreat to, comfortable beds, and lots of convenient details that made it a smooth week. We are grateful and would absolutely recommend this place to others.

Only stayed here for a few days but it was stress-free! Check in was very easy, and host was quick to respond if I needed any help, and the apartment itself was clean and looked just as it did in the photos. Great location too if you’re looking for something that’s within walking distance for really anything. Thank you for hosting me!!

We were in the Milwaukee area for our son’s graduation from UWM. This location nice and close to the campus, without being the right in the heart of busyness. This street was pretty quiet, which we enjoyed. Access to the garage was behind the house in an alley, but very easy to get to. The house was clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear, and Karen was always quick to respond to messages! Very happy with our stay!

The Emerald City was such a fun experience- it was curated with such care. It takes your right into the wizard of oz with so many odes and little secret references to uncover- the hosts were responsive and the apartment had everything you need. Loved the location! Bay View is awesome! Thanks for the fun!

Our stay at Ryan's was fantastic. The sleeping arrangements were comfy and there was plenty of space to spread out for a group of three. The overall atmosphere of this place was fantastic. The decor was inviting and we were appreciative of all of the natural light. We had a few hiccups on our journey and Ryan was exceptionally kind and responsive with helping us along the way!

Victoria’s home was clean and exactly as pictured. I had a question re parking on the street and she responded immediately. There were snacks and mini drinks and toiletries in the bathroom. She knew we were in town for a concert and suggested a local bar offering shuttle service! I’d highly recommend her home. Quaint and cozy.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Carlos's. The space was exactly like the photos, and we had more resources than we even planned on. It's a well-insulated basement space, so even on our last day when the weather was very warm outside, it was downright chilly inside. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, parking was easy to find with clear instructions provided, and enough space for what we needed. We realized our first night that we forgot toothpaste, and Carlos and his wife were so generous to bring some down for us to use until we could get to the store the next morning. Some other reviews mentioned the low ceiling, and while my husband is over 6 ft tall, he had no issues. The space was very affordable for the location, and Carlos and his family are gracious hosts. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

This is among my top 3 Airbnb stays. The location was near lots of attractions in MKE, spacious and comfortable with lots of seating, had a modern kitchen with plenty of working space and some condiments readily available, the beds were comfy, and there were lots of amenities. It was easy to feel right at home, and we were also able to enjoy time in the sun in the large yard. The next time my family is in MKE, I plan on looking for this place again.

Once we landed in Milwaukee, we texted Jodi to let her know when we expected to arrive at her place. She quickly responded that she had some errands but provided the entry code and made us feel welcome. We got settled in and then she reached out via text to let us know she had returned. She came up to meet us in person and helped us understand the city requirements for parking on the street. She had already provided the URL to the registration site and just made sure we were comfortable with what needed to be done. She later informed me that I'd parked on the wrong side of the street so that I could move the vehicle so that it didn't get a ticket. I appreciated that. We were out and about most of the time we were there. The notes that she had placed throughout were very helpful. The booklet that she printed was very clear and her expectations were reasonable and easy to meet. It's an older home, but very quaint and pretty cool.

Beautiful penthouse, lots of room, gourmet kitchen, and comfy beds! This place is amazing! Great host communication and amenities. Stayed there with 11 women for an event in MKE and we all loved the place. Walking distance to Fiserv, bars, restaurants, and a river boat cruise. Building staff was so friendly and would tell us to have fun when we ventured out. Would 1000% stay here again.

I had such a wonderful stay at Jake's place. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. High end kitchen you could cook a gourmet dinner!!! The unit comes with a free and private parking space (which is a big plus for me). Located right in the heart of 3rd Ward. 2 blocks away from Milwaukee Public Market. Walkable distance to the Riverwalk, the Lakeshore State Park, Milwaukee Art Museum and many other local landmarks. Milwaukee free (Hop) train is just a block away from the apartment. It could take you all over the City. 3rd Ward have great shopping, excellent restaurants and eateries. I absolutely enjoy my stay. Highly recommend!! Much better than staying in a hotel!!!

Very clean, comfortable, and lovely home. We loved that it was converted from a market- it added to its charm! You can hear footsteps upstairs at times, but it didn’t bother us at all and the home has a sound machine in the bedroom that we really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.
