We stayed at James’ place for our 25th anniversary and I’m so glad we did. We were hoping for peace, nature, hiking and to be able to include our dogs. The location was perfect - so secluded, yet not far from hiking, restaurants, etc. The cabin was clean and well-appointed, having everything we needed, plus extra items in case you’d forgotten something. I appreciated the easy-going communication and would love to stay again if we get the chance!

This was our 2nd stay at the Car Wash and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. They have Everything you need to enjoy your stay and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed—exactly like the photos, but even better in person. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub—clean, private, and perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Everything we needed was there—from soft towels and comfy beds to a well-stocked kitchen. The location was quiet and peaceful. Whether you’re here to unwind or adventure, this spot is a perfect home base. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay!

Was a great vacation for our city dogs. One of our dogs is reactive and was super nice for her to have a wide open space to run. Dan is awesome and the kind of guy you’d like to go fishing with. 5 out of 5 stars

We’ve been here before and will be back! We ate in the area, had s’mores by the fire pit, good bars nearby, walking areas and shopping! The neighbors are friendly and the view speaks for itself. Lots of wildlife in the area as well!

Alpine Oasis was a true, relaxing getaway. The outdoor area has everything you could want/need (pontoon boat, paddle boat, peddle boat, kayaks, hot tub, fire pit, hammocks, etc). We were always outside enjoying nature and it felt very private and relaxing. Books were read and good company was had! The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked often but also went out to enjoy some Wisconsin Supper Clubs! Grocery store was close, as was a delicious bakery and country market. As a bonus, a dog is welcome! We loved our time here and hope to return!

Very nice home with lots of room for family. Comfortable beds and attractive decor. Communication was clear and quick.

We have wanted to stay in a Frank Lloyd Wright house for a very long time. Stillbend did not disappoint. It was just wanted we wanted it to be: warm, charming, unique. The house is decorated with vintage items including the dishes and glasses. We spent an entire afternoon in the house reading, napping and talking. We walked to the river and around the house admiring the wildflowers. Our host was helpful and responsive. We congratulate him on his passion for and dedication to the authenticity of the architecture, the period and Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision.

Hanna’s Airbnb was perfect for our stay! It was close to the good views as well as a good location to get food. The jacuzzi was definitely the star of the show!

My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

Loved this location right on the lake. Cute little cabin perfect for the 2 of us. Very cozy and warm. Excellent water pressure in the shower is always appreciated! Comfy bed and huge Roku TV topped things off. Awesome location across from a nature refuge which was perfect for my birder husband. She let us use the bicycles to explore which was really fun. Sunset over Lake Onalaska was priceless. Thanks very much, we would love to come back sometime.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! Not only was the host responsive and helpful, but the setting was lovelier than I could have imagined. Waking up to have my coffee with the cows just made my morning, and the friendly cats strolling the property made it feel like home. I’d love to come back and spend more time enjoying the sauna, hot tub, and fire pit. The apartment was charming and clutter free. It was perfect.

Wonderful location with beautiful views! Michelle and Dave were so friendly and the perfect hosts. What we loved most was sitting in the living room area at the end of a hectic day and looking out through the 2 large sliding glass doors to a peaceful view. We loved every chance we could sneak a few puppy pets in, too!

This is a beautiful place to stay! All the decor makes you feel at home, and everything was very clean! There were games to play, a balcony to drink coffee on and a full kitchen. We did have to park on the street but there was plenty of parking available. The only thing I would say is if you are tall, my boyfriend is 6’5”, you might have some issues with the shower and some of the hanging light switches due to them being a bit low but other then that highly recommend this place to stay!!!

Anna's apartment was absolutely beautiful. It was so clean. There are cute ice trays in the freezer which I very much enjoyed. The apartment is very bright and beautiful with it's tall ceilings. The apartment is next to a bar, but there is a noise machine and a TV in the bedroom to help with noise, that wasn't even that bad. I will definitely be recommending her place to anyone who plans on going to the Chequamegon Bay area.

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay, beautiful location, conveniently located near shopping, amenities were up to date and accurate. Left saying “we can only stay here anytime we go to the dells!” Must book location!

Walkable from the main street in downtown Dells (Broadway). Felt right at home, comfy furniture, clean, thoughtful amenities, clear instructions. On the water, immediately next to a public launch. Giant jacuzzi bathtub in bedroom. Wish we'd stayed longer, would rebook.

Beautiful place and gorgeous scenery right on the water. We enjoyed the stay very much, didn’t even feel like you were in the dells but still close enough if you wanted that experience. However, we enjoyed how secluded it felt. We would stay here again and recommend it to any of our friends.

The place was fantastic, had a lovely stay Amy and David were fantastic with communication! the parking was easy once we figured out how to use the card (you need to hold it for about 3 seconds over the ticket machine. great location if you have transportation handy!

Lori’s place was amazing! The location was perfect, peaceful, yet centrally located near tons of things to do. Whether you want to explore or just head back to relax, it’s the ideal spot. I highly recommend taking your coffee out onto the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view, it was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Lori was incredibly responsive and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed. I would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place! Loved that we were tucked away in a more quiet area but still a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Geneva. Quiet, clean, and spacious.
