We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter & 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens, Poinsett State Park & Congaree Nat. Park. It's only 2 hrs to Myrtle Beach or Charleston & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it's conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to relax.

After a long day on the lake, you can enjoy a game of pool, classic arcade games, darts, or board games. WiFi is provided as well as 3 smart TVs. There is plenty of parking for your vehicles and water toys.

TVs in each room, and 2 covered decks. Fish, or just sit out on the dock, watch the boats run by, and appreciate the lake. We rarely use the dock ourselves. 600’ from our public boat ramp with a park and small beach. Please also note that we do have cameras installed that monitor outside only.

We purchased our home is 2006 and began a complete interior and exterior renovation. In 2023 we installed solar panels and an electric vehicle charging station, yet we also have access to the grid for cloudy days and when power demand exceeds what our panels generate. We use a deep well for water. Bring your family for an off-the-grid vacation in our lake home!

You will feel as though you are in a country setting but are only a 2 minute drive to the center of Historic Summerville, with multiple choices of restaurants, local shops and of course bars. Play pickleball? We know all the local courts and teams, we are happy to help you find a game!

The Goose Cottage at Wild Goose Flower Farm

Located next to the family farmhouse at Wild Goose Flower Farm, The Goose Cottage was designed to immerse guests in our calm and peaceful country life. We are located 15 minutes from the hearts of Cane Bay, Nexton and Exit 194 on I-26, and 45 minutes from Downtown Charleston. You have your own private entrance so come and go as you please! Airbnb designated parking. I live on the 2nd floor should u need assistance !
