The nearest store is 7 km away. You can enjoy nature all year round in the nearby terrain. In winter, the nearest trails are 10 minutes away. It is a good idea to rent a car from the airport or train station, so that the adventure in the surroundings of Sallatunturi will be comfortable.

The place is private and convenient by 56 square meters space with kitchen, living room, bedroom with queen-bed, shower, WC, sauna and free parking lot. I live in the same yard in another house so you have your own cottage all by yourself. Bed linens and towels are provided. Sauna is electric heated and can be used free of charge. Kitchen has everything for basic cooking, oven, micro, fridge & freezer and coffee maker.

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.

During wintertime you can also go country-skiing, alight ski trail is pretty close. Apartment is located two kilometers from city centre, 11 kilometers from airport and Santa's willage. The closest grocery store is only 200 meters away.
