The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The house has everything you need. It's very cozy, especially with the sauna and the chimney. Mira was a great host, she ensured that we had a good time in her mökki and was very nice to write with. She even let us know when the Aurora started acting up so we could go outside and see them ourselves. 10/10 would recommend going there. The kitchen is well equiped with all the basics including oil and salt. We really appreciated that she made sure, that we knew it was in the middle of nowhere. Thank you Mira!

My family and I were on an Easter holiday in Kuusamo. We stayed at Suvi's cottage that provided a great setting for calming down. Messaging with Suvi was flexible and quick. The cottage was clean and tidy, it was nice to get there. Grilling in a home, as well as a lakeside sauna and an opening at the end of the day, crowned the holiday.

It was nice to have decor, board games, and seasonal lights in the cabin. There were plenty of dishes and they were functional. The sauna was very good, good steam, you could put more rocks.

The listing was just as described. Iita was very responsive and a friendly host. I recommend this place to others looking for a place to stay. The location was excellent. Sled trails nearby and comfortably peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It's also not too far to get to the slopes by car. :) Very clean and functional accommodation.

Beautiful accommodation and equipped with everything important. For 4 adults a little small, especially the additional room from the veranda even without possibility to supply clothes. Unfortunately, it does not have direct access to the toilet from this room. There was little space in the shower room for personal belongings to put away.
