We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

A traditional log cabin located in a wilderness setting in the middle of the forest. There is a pond and a stream near the cabin. The nearest services are in Kemijärvi, which is 40 km away by car. Here you can enjoy a leisurely life. The cottage stays cool even during the summer heat. In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, you can fish, hunt, hike, cycle, and pick berries and mushrooms. There is a lean-to and a nature trail nearby.

Kemijärvi 35km, Pelkosenniemi 15 km, Savukoski 60km and Sodankylä 70 km. The nearest grocery store is in Pyhä 14 km and Pelkosenniemi 15 km. There is a lot of snow in March and April, then also the best outdoor weather.
