The starting point of the ski trails is 2 km away, but you can go straight from the yard to the lake ice to ski. For fishermen, Lake Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. Cloudberries, blueberries and lingonberries are waiting for pickers right at the corner of the cabin.

Quiet and well-equipped cottage in Ruka

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only some steps to the water or ice. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

Nivankylä village is located 10km from Rovaniemi city centre. Our place is almost hidden by the trees in local village. Here you can spend your holidays in your own peace. Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

Lovely cottage located right at the opposite side of Suomu ski resort at the Arctic Circle - here you can start your mornings by sipping coffee while enjoying the beautiful and peaceful mountain scenery right from the balcony. Here everything is on easy access even with kids - as it's located only 5 minutes walk away from Suomu hotel and restaurant, ski slopes and ski trails. Summer activities e.g biking and hiking trails, fishing and playground closeby.

Artturi's Fish Cabin

A traditional log cabin located in a wilderness setting in the middle of the forest. There is a pond and a stream near the cabin. The nearest services are in Kemijärvi, which is 40 km away by car. Here you can enjoy a leisurely life. The cottage stays cool even during the summer heat. In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, you can fish, hunt, hike, cycle, and pick berries and mushrooms. There is a lean-to and a nature trail nearby.
