House vacation rentals in Lapland

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

A cozy stay with everything you need. We were able to cook and stay well with the whole group. Communication with the owners was easy. It was also nice to be able to scratch the huskies, our puppy who was on the trip only wondered about the dog puppies from a distance, but also enjoyed a trip to Lapland:)

Linda and Semi's summer house is the best place for adults and kids to relax and play in summer. we stayed there for 2 days. The place provides countless recreational facilities. you can have suna, hot tub, fishing, paddling, table tennis, ... The rooms are clean. The kitchen is full-equipted. We had a great time there.

It was a short stay but it was a pleasant one, sauna is nice

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. A clean and spacious cottage in a peaceful setting. Kirsi was a really thoughtful and nice host. The cottage was separated from previous rentals in Lapland by a generous supply of equipment (reindeer, snowshoes, sleds, etc.), as well as the opportunity to buy high-quality reindeer meat directly from the frost. We'd love to come back!

We spent 2 nights in Sanna's house and everything was perfect. Before you even arrived, communication with Sanna was very quick and easy. Her house is very nice, very well decorated and filled with little touches. The sauna is a real plus. This is the first time I've stayed with someone else and felt so good there. There are people who have a sense of service and Sanna is definitely one of them. I can only recommend, everything was just perfect.

Superb environment. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the river, great northern lights, ... Very nice cabin renovated with taste and good equipment. We will be happy to come back in the summer to test the outdoor sauna and hot tub.

The house was really friendly with a good overall atmosphere. It was perfect for these 4 nights with some friends. The view is beautiful from the house, the sauna is pretty authentic, and we really enjoyed laying in the fresh snow afterwards.

Fantastic house, very good amenities, beautiful views with wild animals. This in a nice central location. Only for us, the beds were a bit on the soft side.

Accommodation as described, very good for two people. The location is peaceful, but it's easy to get around by car. Recommended!😊

It is a beautiful, modern, and cozy house located on the bank of a lake, with large windows overlooking a breathtaking winter landscape. We stayed there two adults and one child—and had more than enough space. The house has everything you could need: a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely sauna to relax in after skiing, two cozy double bedrooms, nice living room with large sofa, and two showers! There are also sleds available for some fun in the snow. We rented cross-country skis for the entire week and enjoyed skiing right from the house onto the lake. We were also lucky enough to see beautiful northern lights from the window or while cooling off outside after the sauna. Just an 8-minute drive away, there’s a small village with a school that has an outdoor ice hockey rink, which can be used free of charge for figure skating or hockey. The nearest supermarket is also an 8-minute drive away, making it very convenient. The owners are extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the maximum is only five stars, but it's actually 5* ++++😃. The house is modern, fully equipped, very clean. Beautiful view of the river and the mountain. Super comfortable beds, well soundproofed bedrooms. Nearby shopping. Lots of attractions/programs within a few kilometers. It was an ideal accommodation for four adults and a dog. We booked the accommodation spontaneously, yet everything worked quickly and smoothly. Tapani is very flexible as a host. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Excellent price - service ratio.

Riverside Dream really lived up to it's name, such a beautiful, clean home with stunning views in the perfect location! Joni-Arttu was extremely responsive and friendly, making the booking, check in and stay so smooth. The property is in a prime location, 10- 20 minutes from most attractions and the airport. We were easily able to book local taxis to and from the home. Such a spacious property that was super clean and decorated for Christmas with a lovely Christmas tree and inviting candles/lights. We (a family of 4) enjoyed the grill hut and sauna and were lucky to witness the Northern Lights from the garden! Our boys appreciated the children's games and the sledges. The house is located in Lapland's most beautiful village Vuontisjärvi and the scenery to "mountain" Ounastunturi is stunning. The house is very well equipped, has a lot of space, is well-functioning and the furnishing is stylish. This is a perfect place to relax!

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's place. Jan always responded quickly, which made the trip super easy! It was a great coziness, which was really good. The cabin had everything we needed :)

The whole family had a great time. Very neat accommodation and good beds. The magnificent views from the windows and outside next to the staircase even came to eat reindeer, so it was an experience for us from the south. We will definitely come back sometime🤍

We had a wonderful stay! The place was not only spotless, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail – you felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was exactly as described if not better. The hostess was extremely warm, helpful and always available if questions arose. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to switch off and enjoy. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

Sanna's place is amazing.. great facilities and complete amenities. heated floor. fire place. Sanna is very helpful and fast response when you ask anything. She even have two wall clock. One for the time in rovaniemi, and the other she set it for the time from our country. Don't forget to ask to meet Mintaka the Husky if you get a chance to stay at Sanna's place.
