Charming luxury cottage for four on the Finnish fell

A winter-inhabitable cottage built completely new in a traditional log cabin frame in 2019. In the cottage, you can relax in a hotel-level bed while watching the fireplace. The small kitchen is well equipped. The wonderful sauna heats up at the touch of a button. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of Suomutunturi, approx. 145 km from Rovaniemi airport. In addition to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the area has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking, even in the summer. The hotel rents skis and organizes excursions.

Experience the peace and quiet of Lapland's nature and the midnight sun in a unique glass-walled experience cabin on the shore of a wilderness lake. Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. A cozy, high-quality, renovated and stylishly decorated cabin is located in Suomutunturi, on the Arctic Circle, by the pond. The villa has 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 sleeping alcoves (120 cm beds + upper bed 80 cm), the loft also has beds for two people. The kitchen and spacious dining room at the other end of the cottage in their own peace, which also leads directly to the other terrace. The dining table can accommodate 10 people at the same time to enjoy the food. The sauna and bathroom are spacious.

Our holiday home is situated in Kemijärvi 85 kms/ 53 miles north-east from Rovaniemi. Nice peaceful 71 m2 apartment close to the nature. You can rest hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, picking berries or mushrooms - whatever you like. Kemijärvi is a town of 6000 inhabitants in the middle of two lakes just above the polar circle. Sauna. There are good trails for crosscountry skiing almost from our front door. The distances to the downhill skiing areas: 45 kms to Suomu and 53 kms to Pyhä.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
