The best hidden gem in Amsterdam!! Beautiful private garden and modern home tucked away from the city!!

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We were traveling by bicycle and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly host. Thank you so much for this great start to the day. We felt very comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst, but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

Amazing apartment in a great location. We walked everywhere. Was exactly like the photos.

We had a fabulous time at tiny house,we did lots of walks (you can use there bikes if you don't like walks) everywhere is flat ,and beautiful scenery, lots of different birds. It was so easy to get to the train station,with regular on time trains,and bus service,into Amsterdam Central we only stayed 3 nights If we'd been there longer there was lots of other places to explore,Abcoud is a lovely litte town, we had food in a lovely pub it was a nice meal at reasonable prices,and it has a supermarket if you want to cater for yourself, we had perfect weather, we sat in a little private garden in the evening with a bottle of wine and watched the wildlife. Lida and Rem where a lovely welcoming couple we were very relaxed there. Lida also went out of her way to come and pick us up, and took us back to the station which was very helpful 😀.

Great walkable location from the train station and few restaurants.

After a pleasant communication with Maartje, we were warmly welcomed by Ernest. The cottage is very lovingly and comfortably furnished and has a nice little garden. If necessary, two bicycles are available. You feel right at home, it has everything you need. The location is within walking distance to the center of Muiden, where there are nice cafes and restaurants. To Amsterdam, you need 10 minutes by car to Weesp and then 18 minutes by train to the central train station. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back any time. This is a fantastic airbnb in Amsterdam. The location is very convenient and everything is within easy walking distance. The apartment is extremely comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. It provided everything we needed without any unnecessary clutter . The beds are very comfortable. Agnes was very responsive to all the questions we had before arriving to Amsterdam. We were welcomed at the apartment by Sander. He was very friendly and warm while informative and clear explaining how things work in the apartment. We really enjoyed our five nights stay and will plan to stay here again at our next visit to Amsterdam. We highly recommend it. .

This was a beautiful little studio. I loved how charmingly it was decorated, and that it didn't look like a generic, gray Airbnb that so many look like. The location was super central. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station, and in the center of tourist attractions. The only thing that I didn't love was that to lock and unlock the door from the inside, you had to use a key. This seems unsafe in an emergency when you would need to exit quickly and might not be able to find or access the key. But overall a great place and great host.

We really enjoyed our experience here, especially Erik's communication prior to our arrival, the flexible early availability, and the place itself.

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

The location is excellent. I was able to walk to the rijk museum and the Van Gogh museum. It was also an easy walk to the city centre. I had been taking the tram until i noticed that i could walk there.

Arjen has quite the incredible apartment near the train station. Nice sized Duplex with outdoor deck off the bedrooms. It couldn't have been more comfortable, with great light, herbs and berries growing on the deck that he encouraged you to consume. It's convenient to almost everything. As others have said the stairs, at first seem daunting, but once you get used to it, it stops being a problem. Arjen was there too meet us when we arrived. He generously carried our bags up the stairs, acclimated us to the space and then took us on a tour of the neighborhood. He was there when we left to go to the airport at 6:30 am to carry our bags back down the steps. He's very charming and articulate. He was never intrusive but always responsive. He loves his city and is willing to share locals only things to do. Next time I come to Amsterdam I'll look to to stay here first.

Madelinde is a great host and was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. Great location! Close to bus stop and tram and an easy walk to the main attractions. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next stay. We recommend.

We spent three nights here and it was a wonderful experience. We loved being so close to Vondelpark as well as Museumkwartier. It was very easy to get around and walk to other parts of the city. We landed early in the morning and Kirsten was very accommodating with an early check in and luggage storage. Would stay here again!

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

We had a particular reason to visit Amsterdam and selected carefully from the available options. We also needed to be well placed in relation to museums and concert hall. Anthony’s accommodation was perfect and stood out as being one of the most spacious, well designed, generously supplied, and carefully finished. Everything was notably clean and ‘hi-spec’ and the modern facilities covered every need. The bed was large and comfortable, and we particularly liked the wallpaper pattern of the dancing red-capped cranes that surrounded it. As ‘newbies’ to the delights of the latest tech, we very much enjoyed that the washing machine sang Schubert’s ‘Die Forelle’ to us to let us know it had reached the end of the cycle! We appreciated the provision of coffee, tea, and basic supplies. We were well informed, we felt secure, and very hospitably provided for. Anthony was friendly and responsive to every message prior to and during our stay. Being there was a pleasure. Highly recommended.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Outstanding stay at Huis Roomolen! Henri & Mel were terrific, kind, and very responsive hosts ~ they assisted us with bike rentals nearby, loads of dining options, and a fully stocked studio for our brief time in Amsterdam. The studio itself is in a beautiful, quaint, and very safe area of the city, just blocks from many canals. The studio was impeccably clean, the terrace is lovely, as are the fish and greenery; and the bonus breakfast goodies made for such a relaxing morning before touring around. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thank you again, Mel & Henri, for a fabulous stay!

A pleasure to stay here. Much better than a hotel. Felt like home from home. As a result of a great stay, will come back again with my wife. So close to the centre but also perfectly set a little away. Great restaurants, bakery and bars nearby. A great place for taking a run each day and of course, pick up a bike and take a ride.
