Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Government of Amsterdam

Cleo and her Co-host Marleen were very welcoming and responsive. We felt at home. Lots of toys and games for younger children. Very cozy house. Naturally beautiful area good for hiking and biking.

Tim and his family have a lovely, warm home and we had a nice stay. Tim was fantastic to communicate with and everything was very simple. House was clean and tidy and my family loved staying there. Sem the cat was a great bonus, he is very sweet. There are some local restaurants that we visited which were great. It's pretty easy to get into central Amsterdam. The neighborhood is quiet and it's easy to catch Ubers. You can easily get food/groceries delivered if needed but is also walkable to the nearest grocery store. Was a great stay and we highly recommend!

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

Pierre's place had a lovely, casual vibe and tons of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. Our group was 3 adults, all international work colleagues in town for meetings at our company headquarters. There was plenty of space for us and we were even able to join remote meetings from different parts of the house without interfering with each other. The house was more spacious than the photos suggested and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The patio was lovely, and we loved the way the dining area practically flows into the garden. We deeply appreciated the good coffee and even the good beer! We loved the neighbourhood around his place and can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Brechtje’s place for 5 nights when we were in Amsterdam for work. The ample space was the determining factor for our choice. We were four people and everyone was very comfortably accommodated in different rooms. The house is cosy and well equipped. It is in a quiet and residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, which was important for us who were working. It’s around a 10 min walk from the metro station, which gives direct access to Amsterdam Central. Besides, Brechtje was always very helpful, quick to respond, and very kind managing a last minute change in our reservation. I highly recommend her and would book with her again.

We loved our family holiday celebrating Easter at Anne’s house. She made sure everything was accommodating for our twins, especially with having two high chairs, two travel cots, and plenty of toys/books for our girls to play with. The decor of the home is also so beautiful, I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend Anne’s house to a family with small children!

Thomas is really a great host, very accommodating and helpful! We had a great stay and felt completely comfortable. There were four of us who could have stayed there. The beds were comfortable and we would check back in anytime!

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Menke’s place is in the perfect location - just outside the main tourist area so it is authentic, yet still close to everything. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely come back when we are in Amsterdam next. Menke is also very easy to work with and accommodating. Easy 5 stars all around.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

Excellent location! Very nice neighborhood, walkable everywhere, supermarkets close by, restaurants nearby...Jurgen was very proactive, responsive and very flexible.

Tijmen was an excellent host. The apartment is a bit tricky to find, and the stairs are very steep and difficult with luggage. The location is wonderful and the flat is superb. Comfy beds, plenty of amenities and lounging area, with phenomenal natural lighting throughout.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

Olivier was super reactive and concilient on our trip, I really appreciated his attention to make our trip excellent. His hours is lovely, and we got to enjoy ou weekend thanks to his fantastic place !

The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Adva’s place! The house is beautifully tucked away in nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was exactly as described — clean, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The self check-in was smooth and Adva’s instructions were super clear. We also loved the forest walks right outside the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

Super cute cottage in a great place! I felt right at home. On the cozy campsite you can rent bikes for free - by bike you can quickly get to the beach and easily explore the area. Toilets and showers were always clean. Cozy place, perfect for a little getaway! Would come back.

We had a great stay! Warmly welcomed by Maaike, very friendly host. We felt very welcome! Relax wonderfully in the private garden and a beautiful cottage. We would definitely go here again!

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

We were in Rose's amazing cottage for our first wedding anniversary for a few days. Rose had made a rose and a card very thoughtful for us, which immediately made for a nice welcome! We had wonderful days by the fireplace, enjoyed the area with our dogs and the sunrise from the dike is fantastic!
