Great stay. Perfect location, lovely little house perfect for our needs and really quiet.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! Thank you for a fantastic stay :)

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Great place to stay. Very short walk to the pool, across a very quiete car park. The beach is a walk away, just down a hill cross one road and you are there, nearly a stones throw. Kayaking, body boarding, stand up paddle boards for hire, all there.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

We had such a lovely stay here, it was really clean, in a great location to travel around, lovely amount of space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay 😊

The house was exactly like the photos. A real home from home with thoughtful and beautiful interior design. Spotlessly clean and really, really comfortable. We all slept really well and the facilities were great. Highly recommend.

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

Seadrift is a perfect place to stay to visit Falmouth and the surrounding villages. Two mins from the sea.The house is very well equipped with everything you can think of to make a family stay perfect. Everything was easy to use. We all enjoyed relaxing in the living area with the huge sofa and log burner. Cooking and entertaining was made very simple with all the kitchen equipment in the state of the art kitchen. We all had our own beautiful bathroom, and spacious comfortable bedroom. Fabulous storage for our walking shoes backpacks and holiday clothes. We loved the books in the study area and living room and there is plenty of info about local attractions. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. We will come again

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We spent 5 days I Falmouth visiting our daughter and stayed at The Lookout. What an amazing place we felt very at home the house was very clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub was amazing and my husband and I and adult children loved it, we had lovely time spending time together as my daughter is at university in falmouth. As an added bonus to our trip our son turned 18 so was the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you Mike for being a welcoming and responsive host, would definitely recommend The Lookout as a perfect stay.

We felt immediately at home at this lovely cottage and wouldn't hesitate to stay again (in fact, I hope we will). It was very comfortable for the three of us - we loved having two shower rooms and such a spacious and characterful sitting-dining space. Ideally located just a five minute walk from the high street full of shops, pubs and food businesses, and also very convenient for the art school campus just eight minutes' walk up the hill. The provision of a car parking space was the icing on the cake.

Lovely clean, spacious house well located. We stayed with friends and had 3 six month old babies with us there was plenty of space. Excellent communication from Will the host was a bonus, always responding to many questions! Would stay again.

This apartment is an absolute delight ! High quality renovation which preserves the traditional and adds contemporary comfort ! Then Marazion cute and quirky and St Michael’s Mount moody and majestic adds the magic

Lovely property in a beautiful position. All amenities as described and very well equipped. Extremely quiet, but still very convenient for Falmouth. Richard and Hellen very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very good centre for exploring this part of Cornwall, but be aware of the 20mph limits in every village, even on some A roads! Stunning grounds to the cottages, lovely to have use of the meadow, etc. Husband even managed to have his morning jogs around the meadow! Visits from a baby bunny as well. Would definitely recommend the cottage and would book again if we came down here in the future.

The accommodation was perfect and beautifully presented, hosts Marie and Jeremy were very welcoming and helpful although the house was so perfect we didn’t need anything, the garden was amazing and totally secure for Dudley our dog, all in all the house far exceeded our expectations, will definitely be booking again. We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

We loved our stay in the cottage. It felt like a proper Cornish countryside cottage. It is detached with a very private and peaceful garden, with great views over the countryside. The plants and flowers in the garden are really lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the evening. There is also a lovely log burner for cooler days. Loads of wood provided too. The kitchen is brilliant and has a washer / tumble dryer and dishwasher. Hose pipe outside too to wash sand off your shoes etc. We have a dog so It was nice to give her a wash when we came back from our days out. There is a bridleway just near the house which is nice for an evening walk. Great location too. Very close to Falmouth, Trebah, Helford area, but also close to Lizard, Porthleven, Marazion etc. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the warm hospitality from the hosts. They provided a lovely welcome pack and they were on hand to help us if we asked for anything. Lovely house and experience.

Great accommodation and location, a fantastic bolt-hole to explore the area. Can’t fault anything, more spacious inside than we expected and enjoyed the private garden. We particularly enjoyed visiting all the local beaches, walking around Rosemullion head, having a pint at the Ferryboat Inn and Pandora Inn. The village shop is particularly outstanding. The Red Lion is walkable for a nice meal. Hotel Meudon is also walkable for afternoon tea, drink at the Bar. The cafe on the beach at Maenporth Beach is good value. Beautiful Trebah gardens is very close by. If the accommodation is available, book it!

This is a truly unique and incredible property, perfect for large families or groups. If anything, the beautiful photos in the listing fail to adequately capture just how nice the property and its idyllic waterfront setting are. Joanna’s home is a perfect base for enjoying the southern reaches of Cornwall, or just relaxing in the home itself and drinking in the scenery. Our group particularly enjoyed sitting outdoors alongside the water/coastal inlet, and watching the dramatic tidal shifts. The kids in our group absolutely loved the area: plenty of interesting things to see and do in the tidal flats, and enjoyed brisk swims when the tide was in.
