“We had wonderful break at Richard and Laura’s amazing house! From the start everything went smoothly and any questions we had were addressed promptly. The hospitality from Richard was very welcoming, the views location and cinema room were outstanding! We had a stroll along the beach which was lovely, nicely paved, we would take our bikes next time or scooters for kids and it is very close to the house, with a small road to cross, but so much closer than expected. There is a little shop nearby that was very handy and a lshopping centre area with a huge variety of shops just around the corner! Two families went and from my mother down to the youngest child thoroughly enjoyed what this house and location had to offer! The cinema room and hot tub definitely made it special : ) Thankyou for hosting a lovely holiday, we plan to come again soon : )”

“I happened to arrive at the right time to catch Merlin, who was very welcoming and friendly. The bothy was easy to find as the sun was setting and would be easy to find in the dark too! The instructions left in the bothy were clear and helpful and I soon had a lovely warm fire going in the stove. The bed space is cosy and gets the best of the heat, seats are comfy and there were plenty of thoughtful extras without there being "too much". The woodland itself is very well managed and fun to explore, with birdsong all day long.”
A (very) small but compact and fun glamping experience in the beautiful Welsh mountains
“The hobbit house really is small, but it's also gorgeous. We were very cosy once the fire was going and had everything we needed. We cooked all our meals on the wood-fired stove which is a wonderful way to cook! We cheated and used our camping stove for coffee in the morning when we weren't patient enough for the fire to get going. The location is superb, with beautiful views and excellent walks right on the doorstep: we didn't quite make it up Waun Fach due to high winds but had a wonderful walk nonetheless culminating in a delicious pint in the Dragon's Back pub. And there are loads of fantastic walks within a short driving distance. Talgarth is just a short drive away for getting in some supplies, and there is a short but beautiful walk with impressive waterfalls right next to the town. The whole area was pretty muddy when we were there so be prepared if it's been raining!”
