My vacation home is located in the climatic health resort of Bärnkopf, a small place in the middle of the Weinsberg Forest at almost 1000 meters above sea level. The sun shines here very often while the fog hangs in the valley and the nights are starry. There is a good infrastructure - a shop, a tavern, many hiking trails, a swimming pond and in winter an extensive cross-country ski trail network. In the immediate vicinity you will also find Rappottenstein Castle, the Arbesbach Bear Forest, the Ysper Gorge and of course a lot of untouched nature.

Time out from everyday life

EVERYONE is welcome!! Comfort and relaxation in the LOG HOUSE on the forest clearing. Dogs are also welcome. Breakfast is included in the price. For NÖ-Card holders, but also without a card, we are very central to various destinations such as Sonnentor, Noah's Ark, Kittenberger Adventure Gardens and much more. Winter closure from January 7th to February. February to Easter holidays limited operation. The house is alive, so noises (e.g. woodworm) and animal visits (e.g. ladybugs) are possible.

Leopold the llama hat car

The accommodation was originally a lounge at an oil drilling site in Marchfeld, later it was used as a moving vehicle until we discovered its potential as a tiny house on wheels. Only the framework remained of the former construction trailer. Everything else was planned, furnished and equipped by us. Guests now find the construction trailer as accommodation that lacks no (small) luxury. In the middle of the llama meadow, it has an idyllic spot on the farm.

You can relax in the garden, sit by the pond or go for a walk, but also visit the swimming pond which is very close by. Jaidhof is also the ideal starting point for excursions to the Waldviertel or in the other direction to Krems/Danube or the Wachau. (Travel time 20 minutes)

We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau! Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.
