Gorgeous gated community location. It's on a lake. Comfortable King size bed and private bath.

Stayed here overnight while driving on road trip. Neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and in a gated community which made me feel safe. Bed is huge and stay was comfortable. The host is very thoughtful and even met me outside when I first pulled in to make sure I didn’t miss the house as it was dark when I arrived. Enjoyed my stay!

Kevin responded very promptly to what was a very last minute reservation. The room was very nice. It is a lovely king size bed and a tv right there for you. The bath room was sparkling clean. I would be delighted to stay there again.

An amazing get away at a perfect little house on the lake

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very clean and very well stocked with the necessities. Jessica’s little personal touches were very appreciated and very thoughtful!

Great place to stay. Cozy, Clean and everything you need for your stay. Being right on the water I fished for a week. Caught bass every day and had three days of summer & three days of winter. Will be back next year God willing. Dave from PA.

Great location, love Goat Island and only a short walk to the restaurant! House was clean and had everything we needed! Enjoyed nice evenings and sunsets out on the dock! Host was quick to answer any questions and went above and beyond to meet all our needs!Will definitely be back!

Mollies place is lovely and at a great price!

Mollie's place was perfect! We were driving up from Florida after vacation and needed to stop on the way home before finishing our drive back to Ohio. Mollie was very flexible with check in, and there were no problems getting in. Less than 2 miles away from a gas station, small convenience store, and food. We had towels and blankets set out for us, hanging dried flowers, and handmade soaps. Excellent, quiet neighborhood right by a nature reserve. We felt very safe (important as it was just my daughter and I traveling.) Only thing to be aware of is there are no plates or other cooking appliances in the kitchen, bring what you need to prepare food. (not a problem for us as we were planning on takeout.) There is also limited furniture and had 2 folding chairs, a desk, and a side table. One of the air mattresses is on a frame and was more comfortable than expected. Thank you Mollie!!!

This place is incredible! The moment you arrive there’s a sign that’s says relax and that exactly what we did. We flew in from Vegas for a wedding a across the lake. The house was nice and cozy. Felt good to have a nice quiet place to rest.

We loved the fish house . My teammates and I were in South Carolina for a fishing tournament and this house was perfect . This house is worth renting .

Off the beaten path. Quite area. We visited in February so it was a bit cold to enjoy the lake or the outdoors. The cabin was stocked well with everything you need from bed and bath to the kitchen. I'd like to come back to enjoy fishing on the lake this summer.

Nice and cozy house, great get a way place

When I first booked this location I thought it was on the water. I didn't realize it wasn't until I read more of the description. I thought my kids were going to be disappointed but, they weren't at all. It was a very cool home with some hidden features that the kids found really neat. It's close to the boat ramp and there's a small beach area available for the kids to play at. We'd love to stay here again during the summer

Cornelia's place is as-advertised. Neat as a pin, nicely appointed and clean. But the bonus we didn't expect was our host and hostess - two of the nicest and most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet. If you just need a quiet room (and a big yard in which to stretch your legs) stay here. It is just a few minutes off I-95. Perfect for someone on a long drive up or down the east coast. A welcome and perfect respite after 10 hours of driving.

This home offered such an adorable, cozy, and comfortable "European" experience. The hosts were extremely hospitable and thoughtful. I highly recommend this home as a very welcoming, safe, convenient, and peaceful stop while traveling along Interstate 95.

I was welcomed by Cony and Patrik outside, where we had tea and exchanged a few stories for the next hour! I was happy to be out of the car after a full day driving alone. My room was just amazing with everything I needed. VERY CLEAN—imperative with this current situation. The sheets were very soft...slept great in the bed. Cony had amazing decorative touches all around. Lots of history in Summerton and Patrik has all the facts! I walked a couple blocks to the main street to stretch my legs. I brought my own food with me and used the small fridge inside. Easy access to 95. Just amazing hosts—they have a way about them to make you appreciate the little things in Life! And they sent me off in the morning with an incredible homemade sandwich and fruit. I will absolutely seek out Solitaire on my next trip! :)

Everything was absolutely amazing! The hospitality was outstanding and the space was extremely clean, organized, stylish, and convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

The hosts were lovely and stayed up late to welcome me and help carry my bags in. They were super excited to meet my pets and ended up taking pictures with them! When I was leaving, they even made vegetarian sandwiches and sent me off with them and a handwritten note in a paper bag! Will definitely stay again when passing through the area. 12/10 stars!

Dan was a very gracious host - offering us a tour of the home and we had a lovely visit before we went for dinner. The home is lovely and everything we needed was provided. A lot of attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and convenient to I95. We would certainly stay here again. Thanks Dan.

Dan has a beautiful home that he has redone and decorated himself. The house is gorgeous the craftsmanship shows great expertise. The house is immaculately clean and far better then any hotel you would consider. Dan is the consummate host who shows true southern hospitality. He opened up his entire house to us allowing us to use the kitchen living room Etc he offered us drinks when we arrived and left out eggs and bread for breakfast. He offered to put on the coffee pot for us in the morning however we are not coffee drinkers. This was our first Airbnb experience and will not be all last. However I don't know if any other Airbnb can top Dan's house and his hospitality. Will definitely look to stay again when we are in the area. Thank you again Dan.

Many of the other reviews comment on Dan's Southern Hospitality. I add myself in agreement. Dan is such a gracious host and his home is an outstanding place to rest if you visit the Santee area.

Second time staying at Dan's place. Great amenities, clean, and Dan is very hospitable. We have stayed with our baby both times and Dan is very accommodating. Due to the nice decorations in low proximity, however, you may have to chase your young one, if he/she is mobile. Highly recommend staying at Dan's if you're passing by.

Great little motel for a night on the road

Our family had a great time enjoying the lake and the toys !

Oh my word, where to begin!! This is by without a shadow of a doubt the most amazing weekend retreat of my life. The time and extra love this couple puts into your stay you feel more than at home; from the plush robes, games, books, travel TOOTHBRUSHES if you forgot yours, or the glow in the dark lining around the stairs for your safety. And that's just inside... the view is the best view offered on the lake. We loved being able paddle board and kayak till we were sore, and followed the day up relaxing our muscles in the hot tub. The pool also has perfect little touches to it as well including sitting areas and an umbrella. Absolutely 💯

What a great space! My husband and I just stopped over for one night. When we walked in I thought wow, this is really cute and comfortable. Then I found the master bedroom and was really wowed. I want to hire them to come to my house and decorate. Bedding was quite comfortable. John and Carole Ann were very nice and the dogs were great too. Next morning one even came by to say good morning! I wish we'd had more time to spend by the water and take advantage of the hot tub. Everything was in great condition and so inviting. They were very responsive in providing directions and check-in info.

What a relaxing vacation!  Carol and Jon, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family.  We had such a wonderful time!  What a beautiful spot!  Our boys had a blast jumping off the dock, swimming in the pool, then warming up in your hot tub, fishing, tubing and paddle boarding in the cove and cooking smore’s over the fire pit.  Besides all those fun activities, our boys biggest highlight was playing your two really special labs, Sienna and Boomer.  Jon and Carol, you were the perfect hosts, invisible, but there when needed.  We hope to be back soon.  God bless you!

This would have been a spectacular weekend get-away if it wasn't cut short due to a sudden death in our family. We only got to spend one night but the morning was blissful. My morning meditation was done in the most quiet and serenely earthy spot and then I relaxed and enjoyed the serenity for a couple of hours with my feet in the water. We had a late breakfast at this little place called Summerton Diner and it was just some good ole country eating which we enjoyed very, very much. This is the perfect place for us to hide away when we need to relax. Carol Anne and Jon we're just amazing hosts: The place was perfectly ready for us, we didn't need anything other than our clothes and food. A kind couple I was blessed to have met and we can't wait to head back out next time for a longer stay.

A perfect place to stay near Congaree National Park.

Such a cute and clean space. Beds were comfy and you can tell the whole place was well thought out! Close to restaurants but far enough away from the city that you can breathe in the fresh air. Perfect place!

Loved it so much the first time we came back for a second. Secluded enough in the woods you don't see the hustle and bustle, yet only 5 minutes to a grocery store! Will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Tony’s bed and breakfast was perfect! This was our first air bnb experience and I’m so happy we choose here to stay! We loved the view on the lake and the hot tub right on the water. Privacy and location was amazing and we also fell inlove with Tony’s dogs. Tony was respectful that not everyone’s a dog person but since deff we are we wanted to have them around and played with them the whole time! My heart broke having to leave them! I would stay at Tony’s anytime I’m in the area this is the only place I would book and we are actually planning on booking again on our way home from Florida! Tony let me book last minute we was quick to respond and help us with anything we needed. He opened his whole house to us! Deff more than I ever expected and made our first air bnb trip one I will never forget or regret! The location and atmosphere, I don’t think you would be able to find better than this place! If your a nature lover and adventure seeker or just want to unwind and have your privacy this place is number one! Thanks again 😊

Lisa’s place was in a great location for our fishing trip. Plenty of room to park truck and boat next to the porch and recharge for the next days outing. Quiet spot and great view of the lake.

Lisa's place is very accurately pictured. The amenities were spot on and everything was tidy and clean. We did not feel we needed anything that was not there for our stay and Lisa has added some fun and clever touches. The view of lake is wonderful, sadly our weather was awful, so we did not get to explore the lake, but hope to on another trip.

What an awesome weekend! We chose Archie’s Lake Daze to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday with family, and we were not disappointed. Most importantly, our son was very impressed by the house and everything about it. The pinball machine, arcade game, and of course the lake right outside the door. Thank you Lisa for helping to make this a memorable birthday for Jackson!

This cottage is the perfect place for a getaway. It has absolutely anything you could possibly need, and was so neat and clean. The location is perfect, and we were able to get anywhere we needed to go in a short time, or just enjoy our day sitting on the dock by the lake. The scenery surrounding the cottage was absolutely beautiful, and it really made us want to come back. Also, Lisa was such a joy to communicate with, and answered any questions we had in a fast manner. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy vacation getaway!

If you want to get away from it all and you truly enjoy peace and quiet, this cabin is perfect. Kayak on the lake and just laying on the dock is surreal. Fays is the place for food. Lisa is a great host.

Awesome Host

Aiden and Cyrus's home is the most affordable, chill, and welcoming home in Charleston. Renting this Airbnb isn't renting a hotel environment where you never see the hosts but more like renting a room at a rents house. Aiden and Cyrus were so nice that they even showed me around Charleston and made sure I woke up on time to make it to my flight. I would definitely suggest staying here if you want to stay at a place that feels like you're staying at a close friends house.

Perfect cottage for quiet time. This is exactly what we wanted. The chickens are very nice and the land is beautiful. It would have been perfect if the showers were hot, but overall, the space is very comfortable for two people! Very enjoyable and lovely stay! I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to a friend

Was very much what I expected. I didn't mind the lack of wifi, tv, or cell service, as it was expected there would be none. I would've liked hot water in the bath house, but that is my only complaint. Other than that, this place is such a great find, and a perfect place for a weekend getaway!

I stayed just one night at Corel's place, but it was awesome! The bed was super comfortable along with the pillows, the temperature was perfect, and the home was extremely clean. There are plenty of little restaurants and a grocery store nearby, which is very convenient! I'll definitely be staying again when I'm passing through.

Amazing house and experience. We were there with 2 other couples and our 8 months old baby to spend Christmas. The rooms are great, the living room is amazing and huge, and the lake and kayaks were so much fun. Simon has everything organized neatly!

Really cool living room with high ceilings and nice set up. Pacman arcade was really cool. Great spot and spacious outdoors too.

We had a group of seven from ages 13 - 72 and had a fantastic time. The neighborhood was quiet, and the weather was just nice enough to enjoy being outside. The kayaks and fishing gear were great amenities. We watched the ospreys search for and catch fish ( lots of oohs and aahs). The kitchen and great room were very spacious which allowed us all to gather, cook, play board games, and watch TV. The king and queen bedrooms were spacious and comfortable but could have benefited from better sheets. The third bedroom downstairs was very tiny with a futon bed, and the coffee table had to be taken out for the futon to be made into a bed. There were no sheets for the futon; only comforters and pillows. One of the arcade games was also in this room and couldn’t be utilized by others when the occupants were sleeping. The upstairs room is a loft type space with two twin beds. It also had an arcade game in it, so again the game couldn’t be played when the occupants were sleeping. The floors in the lower level were very creaky and especially loud when most were sleeping. Overall, the space was conducive to what we were looking for. Simon was a wonderful host and extremely helpful when needed to resolve the temperature of the hot water on our first day. I would definitely recommend this house to others and depending on travel in the future, would stay here again.

This a very lovely home with all the amenities needed. Even kayaks to go into the lake. Just be aware this utilizes natural water, not purified. They also had games and Netflix. Overall, this is a perfect place to getaway and relax!

Amazing home for a vacation getaway!!

Jim is a great host, this is a great corner of the lake with so much to do with kids.. a fantastic place to make memories and have a family retreat. This is not a 5 star hotel, this is a beautiful corner of a lake with places for kids to be kids, goats, swimming, kayaking and lots of water activities. Open mind needed but you will not be disappointed.

Me and my family had a very nice time relaxing in the pool side cottage, Amber and Adam were great hosts, pool was very nice, and they had granola bars, oatmeal and coffee there for you, I would definitely recommend !!!!!

What an amazing AirBnB!! I slept so good. The place is simple, yet very stylish and super clean. The host was so gracious in her communication with me. This had a very suitable kitchen area!! When I stay in Orangeburg I always try to book this place. It is a great room. Living space and everything else is nicely laid out.

Beautiful, quiet getaway!

Michelle’s cabin was immaculate, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed our time sitting outside playing games, drinking their complimentary cherry port, grilling, by the fire at night, hiking the trails nearby and relaxing in and out of the cabin on the hammock. Michelle is quick to respond with any questions you might have.

We stayed in this charming log cabin to getaway from this pandemic for our one year anniversary. We both live locally in Columbia and this was a nice retreat for two essential workers. Just enough space for my husband and I to freely enjoy the area. Of course with the local attractions being closed we stayed in our whole trip. Weather was just perfect to enjoy their grill and out door area. The hammock was probably our favorite hangout area and they offer additional blankets to enjoy outside. The host were very friendly and with them residing next to the cabin, they do their absolute best to make sure guest are given their privacy. Very friendly folks,

Whispering Pines is an Oasis for any weary traveler! Susan and Kelvin are the epitomy of southern hospitality! The cottage is super immaculate and comfortable. The property is extremely well taken care of and offers relaxation and tranquility. The fur babies are adorable and very friendly. Thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and charm truly make Whispering Pines a place to relax and rejuvinate! Kudos to the host! We will be retuning!

Beautiful garden, quiet and private place. Sitting on the porch in the rocking chair listening to the rain was absolutely amazing. My kid made a friend with the cutest little toad and then he set him free when we left. Have really good tires for the rocky road driveway. Big refrigerator!

Kelvin & Susan's place was absolutely Amazing. My husband and I were so happy. The place was cozy, welcoming and peaceful. Their little outdoor oasis was just what the doctor ordered. Kelvin and Susan are so sweet. We had everything we needed plus extra. We had so much privacy, I highly recommend this place , its definitely one of my favorite airbnb places in SC.

A welcoming and experience seldom seen in our world these days. You will feel a part of their family as soon as you step out of the car.

Great little B&B type place right off Rte95. Each room had its own private entrance from the outside which allowed for proper “ social distancing “ during this trying time. Both the hosts and rooms are warm and welcoming and it was great to have nice outdoor seating areas to enjoy dinner with my daughter and two pups. Cony sent us off with 2 homemade bread sandwiches which was such a nice treat. We hope to return next year and enjoy a nice bottle of wine and conversation with them.

This stay was my absolute favorite I’ve ever booked. Cornelia and Patrick are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They were so hospitable, and full of life and I’m so happy to have met them! The room was beautiful, French themed and very clean. This was supposed to be a stop to sleep on the way back to school, but it added a great experience to our trip. They were also so accommodating with our schedule, and were so helpful to make it as easy as possible for us. We really appreciated that! Book with them if you’re looking for a place in South Carolina they are awesome!

Where do I begin, you will NOT be disappointed, you WILL be Spoiled, pampered and leave feeling like you just left family, the ones you like. Lol We agree with all the 5 Star comments from previous reviewers but we give them 10 stars. Dont miss this I95 gem.

A nice cozy loft in a clean home!

The room was clean, private, on another floor, dedicated ac, fridge, and a bunch of pillows. Very clean, there was also a tv with roku device. House was in a gated community. Off street parking. Fast food nearby.

Joan was a wonderful host! She's very kind and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved all the pets, especially the cats! All the animals were very friendly.

Joan’s place is very cozy and comfortable. Joan met me when I checked in and was always available if I was to need anything. I loved the peaceful feeling I got while I was there. The bed was comfy and the linens were awesome. I can’t wait to return.

We have such a lovely time staying in Blake’s home! The location was great and it was super easy to get to Charleston from there.

We only stayed for a night, but the experience was memorable. The room was small and cozy, perfect for a short stay, and everything was clean. We had the chance to meet Blake for just a few minutes before we checked out, and he had plenty of tips and fun stories to share. Would highly recommend!

This room worked out well for our stay. It was conveniently located to where we were going. The check in was easy, WiFi worked well, the room had a tv and mini fridge which was nice. Blake was very informative and helpful.

Communication with Brian and Julie was easy. They were quick to respond if I had any questions and live close by if needed. There was plenty of space for the three couples that stayed and the backyard view is pretty. Red’s Place is close by and they have karaoke Friday’s and live band Saturday’s and a large assortment of food on the menu. We went both nights and enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect place to stay super nice and sweet

April's place is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Thoughtful touches throughout made it a cozy place to stay. Its quiet and private. Unfortunately for us, the whirlpool tub didn't work while we were there and although the bed was very comfortable, when you move around the bed frame tends to creak quite a bit. If these things are a concern to you, I would check with April to see if they have been resolved before booking because it's really is a nice place to stay!

Great setup and we got plenty of privacy form anyone in the house. House was clean and bed very comfortable . Worth the price hands down and not to mention a great whirlpool tub !

April’s space was incredible and she was an extremely friendly host! The room basically has a separate entrance making it feel as if it is not a shared space at all. The room is very stylish and comfortable. In short, I felt at home. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend time in Summerville ... Charleston is a bit far.

This was the perfect spot for our weekend trip! Great host and close to both downtown Summerville and the interstate. Location is quiet enough to relax but still close to great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

We had such a great stay at April’s wonderful place. We had such a great time and April did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They place was very nice and clean. She always replied to us very quickly when we had questions. Suggested some wonderful places to go while we were there. We definitely recommend her place if you are looking for a nice place to stay near Charleston, SC.

Dan and his home are great. He was very hospitable and even offered to share dinner the night I got there. His home is very clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Dan was very hospitable, and the room and bathroom were just right for our needs. He added a lot of practical and thoughtful touches to the room (plenty of outlet space, towels, extra soap, etc.), and made us coffee in the morning. We loved getting to chat with him before heading out - great stay!

Dan was a very hospitable host and he has a lovely home. The bed and sheets were like sleeping on a cloud. I recommend the farm fresh eggs.

I enjoyed a great visit at Dan's home. Excellent communication. Listing is accurate. Quiet country location. Great room that was well-appointed and above average. Dan met at arrival and offer recommendations locally. He has a quiet and friendly little dog. I hope to visit again sometime!

Our experience with Dan was excellent. He was easy to communicate with and even reached out with updated instructions for our stay. We flew in super late but he stayed up to welcome us. There were thoughtful touches including fresh, hot coffee in the morning. We only stayed for a short trip, but enjoyed our time with Dan.
