Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lucca

We had an absolute perfect stay in Salverio and Lorenzo's flat. It was incredibly spacious - very unusual to have a 3 bedroom/3 bath flat to rent in such a highly sought after part of Firenze. The decor was a perfect blend of antiques and art mixed with contemporary furnishings. Having a washer/dryer was a fantastic addition. Our favorite part of the flat was the rooftop terrace at sunset. You feel like you are on top of all of Firenze looking across the buildings. The duomo view was breathtaking. It was magical and truly stunning. The location could not be more suitable for proximity to all of the sights and indulge in luxury shopping. Salverio and Lorenzo were so helpful and accommodating. We will most assuredly be back! Incredible home, with stunning views! I hosted a group of friends here before my wedding, and we all agreed it was the most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The hosts (Francesco and his wife Illaria) were extremely responsive and kind. They recommended a local chef to us, which turned into one of the best nights of our trip. 100% recommend and will be re-booking next time I travel to Tuscany.

Fantastic property, not new but really well kept and looked after. Spectacular outside space with grape vines over a pergola. Pool was a lot bigger than expected and a nice touch. Fabulous greeting and a welcome basket with local treats and Angiolo’s wine. Great location for touring Tuscany. We would definitely go back!

We stayed as a family with teenagers for a week in the accommodation and couldn't have done better. Everything was exactly as described. Due to the room in the attic, which was very well air-conditioned, there was always the possibility to retreat. The place was sparkling clean. There was no slightest fault. We were very warmly welcomed by Daniele and his family and personally said goodbye. There were a whole range of tips for restaurants and excursions. I can really recommend the beautiful house without reservation. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much for that.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all the comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well-organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. A stay that we recommend without hesitation, perfect for those looking for peace, comfort and a nice place to share moments with friends.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation is beautifully located, high above Pistoia – about 30 minutes away – in the pleasantly cool mountains, which was ideal in the summer temperatures. Although the well-known cities of Tuscany are a little further away, the location was perfect for us. Daniele and Alessandra were very hospitable, always available and gave us many valuable tips about the area. We have grown very fond of Pistoia during this time. The combination of the quiet, natural location of the Airbnb and the lively, charming city life was just right for us. The surrounding area is ideal for motorcycle, scooter or bicycle tours: winding mountain roads, magnificent views and many small, old villages that invite you to discover. Grazie!! Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

Great stay in a very lovely apartment. lots of coffee, biscuits and a welcoming bottle of wine, very much appreciated. clean tidy and well located in the centre of Lucca. would stay again.

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Our 2nd time in Lucca and in this complex. It's not for nothing that we've come back here. And again, we liked it very much. A lovely apartment with garden. Beautiful and spacious kitchen. Beautiful swimming pool with possibility to barbecue. If we want to be near Lucca again, we will definitely come back here. We would like to specifically thank Giorgio for his hospitality.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. We loved staying at Elisa’s place - so lovingly restored and a truly special place. Beautiful setting and we loved hanging out in the garden on the sun loungers in the peaceful surroundings. Being able to say hello to their dogs and having their sweet cats in the garden made it feel like home to us. Easy parking nearby. Thank you so much!

We had a magical stay at Ottavio's estate. After a warm welcome and very extensive, helpful tips for the area, there was only one thing left for us to do: slow down. The quiet location in the middle of nature is ideal to completely unwind. There's nothing missing! The cottage was cozy, the bed very comfortable & contrary to our expectations there were few insects. The bedroom is very cool and dark - perfect for relaxing nights. We particularly liked that our dog could live out his freedom, our and Ottavio's dog were really friends and played every day. Thank 😊 you so much for the wonderful time! Glad to come back! ✨

We were in Dino's house for four days with our 10-month-old baby. The view and tranquility are wonderful and the house has everything it needs for us. The communication with Dino was great, he contacted us on his own initiative and asked if we arrived well and if everything is okay and also responded quickly to our messages. We were traveling with a Ford Transit, your car should not be larger or wider, as the roads are very narrow.

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

We had the most magical stay at this Tuscany farm! The property is absolutely stunning — nestled among rolling vineyards and olive groves, with postcard-perfect views in every direction. Our apartment was spacious, charming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, sharing local recommendations. Our kids loved meeting the animals, exploring the grounds, and especially swimming in the beautiful pool overlooking the hills — it was a total dream! Evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine and the Tuscan sunset were unforgettable. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family, and we can't wait to return. What a magical stay! Christine is a true host and not only has curated a beautiful space but she also was perfectly attentive to us during our stay. The apartment was as comfortable as it is beautiful. We took advantage of the outdoor grill and swimming pool and although we explored the area we would have been just as happy to stay “home” all day. The recommendations for the area were true gems. We had breakfast our last morning and it was the perfect ending to our stay! I don’t think you can find a more perfect place.
