Vacation rentals in Lucca

I don't think you can get a place in Lucca with this kind of rooftop terrace. Beautiful views on all sides of the apartment. For this I will definitely come back! The furniture of the apartment is a little outdated but that doesn't add up to the beautiful scenery. In the kitchen, the equipment was brand new. The bathroom and bed superclean. It is in a quiet neighborhood with small shops around you. Only 5 minutes walk to the city center. The communication with the host is flexibel and easy. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonnie’s rental in Lucca! The place was charming and comfortable, and Bonnie was incredibly accommodating, especially as our travel plans changed a couple of times. This is the one, look no further! Perfect space, clean, new, high quality. Unlike many other apartments in lucca that look right into other buildings, this apartment has beautiful views over the roofs and is flooded with light. Bright and airy! Wonderful light throughout the day with a South-East exposure! The views extend past the roof tops and towers to the mountains in the distance - Wish we had stayed longer! Guido is an absolute Gem and was super helpful from the moment we made the booking. Also the apartment is very central in the city so it’s no more than a 5-10min walk to get anywhere. There is also a great little wine bar on the square below! Thanks Guido - see you next time!

I stayed in this loft for 4 nights in June 2025, great place, recently refurbished. It is in a fantastic location, right in the city centre though you can get anywhere inside city walls in under 15 mins. Host was very responsive and very proactive, I received clear instructions on how to find and access the property prior to my arrival as well as recommendations on what to do and where to eat in Lucca. My personal recommendation is "In Pasta - Cibo e Convivio" I chose this place as it had an air conditioner, but I did not need to use it as the loft was very cool (even chilly at times) throughout my whole stay despite temperature reaching +29 outside. Few things to note: - It is a ground floor apartment and it is very humid, the air felt moist. - Building is located in a quiet street however the apartment is not sound proof, if someone is speaking next to the window or entering/exiting the building (shutting front door), you might hear it. But it did not happen much.

Wonderful location in the heart of Lucca. The view of the amphitheatre is incredible! We stayed for two nights for a wedding and had everything we needed. The noise wasn’t an issue for us and we had a 9 year old who said it was the best sleep he’s ever had 😅 the hammock is a lovely touch. As the other reviews say, the stairs are steep and we did struggle slightly with a large suitcase but that was to be expected. Overall a lovely stay 🙂

This villa was something out of a dream. Stefania was so lovely and wonderful with recommendations and booking us a rez at a fantastic local gem of a restaurant. The views were incredible and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The villa itself was cozy and inviting. The outside seating area was well used by us for nightcaps, dinner and conversations about falling in love with Tuscany and all it's amazing nooks and crannies. We wanted a picturesque and home-like central base for our 10 day adventure in Italy and we're delighted with the accommodations that really was like something out of a movie. Lucca was only a short drive away and offered the best grocery store-Esselunga! Thank you Stefania for your warm generosity, kindness and suggestions. This was a birthday trip that we will never forget and cemented our longing to return soon!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Giorgia's lovely place in the heart of Lucca, and we had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and very charming, furnished and decorated with attention to detail. It is also equipped with everything you may need, and more. We cooked several meals and worked comfortably from the apartment. The view of the piazza is beautiful, and the location is fantastic for exploring gorgeous Lucca (just make sure to bring ear plugs in case of noise from the street at night). Finally, Giorgia's guide to the city was very helpful. I recommend this apartment for an atmospheric stay in Lucca!
