Really hospitable and very friendly. Such a homely place and very scenic.

Clean and fairly welcoming accommodation. Comfortable bed, quiet room, you can rest well. Host available, check-in and check-out in total autonomy. Nearby, there are bars and pastry shops where you can have excellent breakfasts. In the house we found some cookies and coffee for breakfast. Central location, convenient from the station, but beware of the distances... unfortunately, there are 2 km of straight road along a tree-lined avenue to the sea, so rent a vehicle, whether it's a scooter, bike, or car, because it's really challenging on foot.

The listing was meticulously renovated, very comfortable, and very clean. It's really nice to have parking inside. The pool is great, and the view from the terrace is very nice. We were very satisfied with everything, I recommend this place to everyone.

Great place with self check-in, heating, and 10-15 minute walk to both the train station and the Carnival area. Host was quick to respond and helped with all of our questions promptly. We had dinner at Branzo and Osteria del Pesce and both were phenomenal. Thank you!

The apartment was impeccable, exceptional cleanliness. Very well-stocked kitchen (rare in many rentals) and a priceless terrace.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. Much larger in person. Wish the beds were more comfortable, but overall a very nice place. Would return !

The house is set in a wonderful location surrounded by farmland with beautiful views over vineyards. The house is spacious and well-equipped. Over favourite part was sharing our meals at the outside table while enjoying the view over the vineyards. The pool is a good size with lots of space for sun loungers around it and also has shady spots. Within 30 minutes you can visit beautiful medieval towns. The supermarket is a 15 minutes drive. Perfect place for large groups.

Absolutely stunning cottage in the middle of the mountains. We needed a location close enough to Florence but able to reach some other day trip destinations. The picturesque location was remarkable and beyond the photos. The hosts Luigi and Desiree were incredibly hospitable and anticipated our needs. For sure the hike up and down from the AirBnb is not insignificant. It is a hard hike up. It was fine for our family but important to know. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in the mountains of Tuscany!

What a wonderful place! The view is amazing and it is very quiet. There are a number of apartments in the complex. The apartment is not the newest, but everything is clean and present. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in this home. The entrance is gorgeous and very well decorated. The garden and swimming pool is very pleasant. The interior is as described and photographed. It may be missing some kitchen amenities like a kettle or dishwasher. Special mention for the owner who was adorable and always attentive. It's a very beautiful place.

Everything was very clean and looked like in the pictures. Alessandra and her husband were very friendly and helpful and gave us great tips for activities.

A beautiful villa with lovely and airy views towards Massarosa, Viareggio and the sea. The photos show the house well, but it's only when you get to The Gargoyles that you really sense the size of the house. Very high under the roof, good rooms and lovely pool. Not much beats standing in the outdoor shower looking out over Massarosa. The outdoor area is very nice, but there will quickly be some sand in the house and in the pool. Well equipped kitchen. Both billiards and table tennis a plus. Bathroom for all bedrooms is convenient. We were two families who were here for over a week. The house is located perfectly for seeing a lot of this area. 20 minutes to Lucca, 25 to Pisa, 12 minutes to Viareggio with good eateries and lovely beach. Forte Dei Marmi, 1.5 hours to Florence and possibility of boat or train to Cinque Terre. A great starting point to experience a lot of Tuscany or just relax in this great house. Would love to go back here!

Our stay at the house was perfect. The old house is absolutely charming and the pool was ideal for the hot weather. The house is really private and nice for a cozy vacation.

The infinity pool is a dream — perfect for relaxing while soaking in the scenery. The picturesque village nearby adds so much charm to the experience.
