Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hamburg-Mitte

Me and a friend stayed at Katja's house during two weeks for an internship at Loki-Schmidt Botanical Garden and we loved our stay! The neighborhood is green and calm, surrounded by beautiful houses and gardens. Several food stores are within walking distance, and it took us 20 min to walk to the botanical garden (which btw is well worth a visit!). The S-bahn is a 10-15 min walk away, and there is a bus station even closer. Katja was very friendly and helpful, and was quick to answer messages and requests. In the check-in instructions it wasn't straight forward how to reach the house, but at last I realized that the house can be located at the back of Katja's house (just walk to the left and around the back and you will find it). The house has a private entrance and a nice private little patio. We cooked a lot of food when we stayed at the house, and the kitchen contained everything we needed! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it! I hope I can come back soon!

Definitely a quite and nicer area to stay. The farm restaurant up the road was delicious. Main grocery next door was great. Only issue was the Train station nearest us was down for 3 days maintenence. So we had to either walk 40min from the next closest or hop an Uber. Would absolutely stay here again and beautiful location.

Very nice accommodation and lovingly furnished, you feel right at home! The only thing I have to complain about is the neighborhood. This is not very lively now. To Hamburg in the city you can take the bus for about 30 minutes, but it was perfectly fine. For the fact that you have Öjendorfer See next door, 5 minutes' walk. I'd love to come back! Perfect for dogs and humans :)

The studio is tip top downstairs at a beautiful family house in a green area. Mirko was a very nice and warm host, who you could always ask if anything didn't work out. The studio was very nice and new with dishwasher and washing machine and an Italian shower. High standard for a low price. Unfortunately, I did not get along so well with the individual twin mattresses, because I am used to sleeping in a double bed with a larger blanket, but I finally got used to it. I would love to come back, as such good studios are rare.

The apartment is a hidden gem! The room is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet, but at th same time super close to the subway station and their are a lot of grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants close by.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The apartment was cozy and very quiet. The connections to the city are also good, as a bus stops almost directly in front of the house and a subway station is also nearby. However, it is important to note that the bathroom is directly in the living room and is only separated by a curtain. In addition, you could not properly darken the windows upstairs, where we slept, which is why we always woke up very early. The value for money is definitely right and we would recommend this apartment!

Great, family-friendly house with a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable. Especially for our children (11, 4, 2) it was a nice experience. It never got boring and if so, there was a small park with a playground right next door. We will be happy to come back.

Cozy apartment with access to its own terrace. Free parking in the roundabout just outside the property. Approximately 10 minutes on foot to the Langenfelde S-train station, where S3 and S5 run into the city. Approximately 20 minutes' walk from the apartment is Eimsbüttel, where we ate at La Classe Capanna, which served good, homemade food. There was coffee, oil and spices for us in the kitchen, and shampoo etc. in the bathroom. There were both large and small pillows, and the bedding was nice and tasteful. Eva's husband called and asked if everything was okay and gave us tips for the city. We were very happy with the stay!

Kirsten its a great and kind host that looks into details to make the guests feel good, at home and well taken care of. She is friendly and flexible. Fast response and her place is magic. Very recommended

Hamburg presented itself at its best – as did Deniz's apartment. We felt completely comfortable; everything corresponded exactly to our expectations. The accommodation was cozily furnished and equipped with everything you need. Everything worked perfectly and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Deniz was very friendly and explained everything in detail. We will be happy to come back!

Overall, the accommodation is incredible! However, I find it is only 3.5- 4 stars! Because privacy is not really offered here. There are about 5 people going in and out of the terrace to get into the parking garage. I don't know to what extent this is agreed with the accommodation or the host, but it is very unpleasant and cumbersome, especially when you are standing in your sleepwear in the morning. Accordingly, I think the accommodation is really great, but because of the privacy point, I think it may be €100 too expensive. Because you are not guaranteed to remain unobserved there.

A cozy, clean little apartment in an optimal location. There were three of us and we felt very comfortable. Jerome is a very helpful, nice landlord. Communication was great from day one, he answered all questions quickly. We will be happy to come back.

This well-kept, charming apartment is centrally located yet quiet and full of personality. the owners have taken care to put their personal touch on every detail inside, which made is feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. perfect for your relaxed stay in Hamburg.

We had a wonderful stay at Christoph and Hanna’s place in Klein Flottbek. The top-floor apartment is beautiful, full of light, and looks out onto green from the balcony. The house is just across from a magical park, and the neighborhood has great restaurants and a peaceful, elegant feel. We had planned to spend more time in downtown Hamburg, but ended up falling in love with this area instead! That said, the S1 is just a 5-minute walk and takes you quickly into the city. Highly recommend — and we’ll definitely be back!

The stay with Jessica was great all around. We felt at home in the beautiful apartment, everything was tiptop. Jessica was always available, super friendly, helpful and flexible. The apartment is really lovingly furnished and it is perfectly located between Schanze and Reeperbahn/Elbe in the colorful St. Pauli, which we love just as much. We highly recommend it and would have loved to stay!

This flat is in a newer building in an area recently revitalized at the water. We walked EVERYWHERE! So convenient, yet not in city centre. Extremely clean, easy & safe vibe. Would definitely consider to rebook in future.

We felt incredibly comfortable in the sweet, very lovingly furnished apartment. The location was great. Absolutely quiet and not far to the Elbe beach. Beautiful. We searched in vain for the only baker, etc. nearby. But maybe we just weren't familiar enough with the area. ;-) We slept great and the bathtub did us a lot of good after a rainy day. The well-stocked refrigerator on arrival is absolutely not a matter of course and we were very pleased about it. we said goodbye with the words that we will see each other again. and that will be the case. we will definitely be back. thanks to Mareile and her husband. :-)

we were received very empathetically by lia and her life partner. we found an apartment that exceeded our expectations: from a like apple to a newspaper, everything was available (things you wouldn't expect in a rented apartment)! thank you for welcome flowers and wine. Even a hot bottle was available. great connection to the bus and subway ... the way to downtown Hamburg was easy to manage (with the public and also with the bike brought with you) summa summarum: we felt well taken care of!

We had a wonderful time with Maria, we felt comfortable from the first minute. The place is very nice and quiet and just a short walk to the train station. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Convienient location walking distance to lake and resturants excellent supermarket around the corner easy parking close to bus but everything including sights within walking distance. Apparentment one level and very well appointed comfortable beds, large bedrooms and nice and quiet; great shower and kitchen.

And indeed, we can only agree with the 5-star ratings. • The hospitality and reception were great • The cleanliness was really remarkable • The amenities were as indicated and everything in very good condition • The furnishings really match the pictures and are very stylish • The surroundings are very green and quiet Regarding parking spaces, we had no difficulty finding one. We highly recommend this place.

We had a great time at Lydia's. She is a very nice and friendly host. The apartment was very clean, bright and spacious. We would definitely stay again.
