Beautiful ocean view. Exactly what we were looking for. Will be back for sure.

The place is awesome! It’s got a great vide, love the pool, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The room is super clean, and comfortable. The place has a great laid back vibe. Ryan is an awesome host! He’s a big surfer and has a bunch of surfboards to rent at a great rate. He also has a quad to rent too. He’s super responsive with anything I need. A lot of the people have come back year after year here. And I am definitely coming back next year! I couldn’t recommended enough.

I was lucky and had the dorm to myself, but it is big and well equipped, as is the kitchen and bathrooms. The pool's wonderful, as is the sitting area and layout. And the A/C was good to have given the humidity. The only suggestion I could make would be the possibility of adding some kind of anti-mosquito device, (like the electric zappers), as they are around, (but then, that's true of all of Tamarindo). Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Simone's place to everyone - and would be happy to stay there again.

Johanna's place is a real oasis. There were many things that made it feel so: sleeping so close to the river, being able to wake up and walk down to the water, cooking in the open kitchen with a view, finding stillness in the garden so easily, practicing movement in the open shala while enjoying all the shades of green, the singing birds, the howling monkeys... Johanna was helpful and responsive in preparation of and during my stay. Her recommendations were spot on. I was also able to take a yoga class with her and other locals, which was really nice. The location is really good too: isolated enough from the busyness, but close to Guadalajara, Nuevo Arenal and Tilaran. This place is a hidden gem, I cannot believe how lucky I was to stumble upon it here. If you're doubting whether to book a stay here, just do it.

We loved our stay in Casitas! It's truly a beautiful place. It's worth a journey to go to Bijagua to stay in this place. We were truly connected to the incredible nature of this place and saw tucans and other tropical birds, monkeys from our balcony in just few meters, squirrels and hummingbirds, sounds of tropical frogs and some interesting beetles and also fireflies. I'd probably recommend a rather short stay, as it could become a bit boring if you're not exploring widely the area. If you do, make sure to hit the trail next to this property, it'll be an experience on its own.

Wonderful homey atmosphere. Loved the fire at night and table service breakfast in the morning!

Suzy and Dan are a class act. They were very helpful and engaging. Had a wonderful time at their lovely inn. It’s located very close to the small town Nuevo Arenal and about 45 mins from all the attractions at Arenal. A nice place to stay if one wants to experience the natural surroundings

Our stay at Mundo Milo was even better than our high expectations. The room was very comfortable and quiet, thoughtfully constructed in a beautiful jungle setting that the owners have thoughtfully preserved and cared for; the food was *very* good; and it was a pleasure to spend time with the hosts. Also, there is a gorgeous beach within easy walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a great place that is also secluded.

I highly recommend Casa Mapache to those seeking not only a place to stay but an unforgettable experience in Guanacaste. My stay at Casa Mapache was extraordinary, undoubtedly the best Airbnb experience I've had in Guanacaste. The rooms are simply amazing, meticulously designed, and offer unparalleled comfort. The common areas are impeccable, showcasing an exceptional level of attention to detail. The ease of getting to this place is noteworthy, ensuring a seamless experience from the very beginning. The order of the place is evident, creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere that significantly contributes to the overall quality of the stay. The personalized attention from the owners, especially Ygal and his charming wife, was the icing on the cake. Their dedication and outstanding service made me feel not just like a guest but a part of a unique experience. The perfection they have achieved in every aspect is reflected in the well-deserved top ratings.

El lugar es muy tranquilo, limpio, y bonito, justo igual que en las fotos. Queda súper cerca de la playa, y hay muchísimos lugares de comida y super mercados cerca del alojamiento, ya sea para llegar caminando o en carro. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras, y ordenadas; el parqueo del alojamiento es bastante seguro y amplio. La piscina estaba muy bonita, solo que tenía muchas hojas dentro, se notaba que llevaba días sin limpiar. Y gracias especialmente a la chica encargada del chat (no sé su nombre), ya que tuvimos un inconveniente para llegar porque las calles se encontraba cerradas por un evento social, y ella con toda la amabilidad nos fue a buscar hasta el punto donde estábamos para llevarnos por una ruta alterna para poder llegar hasta el alojamiento. En general, recomiendo este lugar y sin duda volvería a alojarme en el.

L’endroit était encore plus beau que sur les photos! Le petit jardin, la piscine, la table de billard, les hamacs, tout était parfait pour relaxer. Le propriétaire était très attentionné et passait plusieurs fois par jour pour vérifier que tout allait bien et pour nous faire apprécier les lieux en nous faisant goûter le fruit du cacao et en nous faisant nourrir les poissons des étangs.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjours chez Ronald. La journée l’extérieur était très agréable avec les hamac et tous les aménagements extérieurs. La nuit nous étions très confortables dans le bungalow. Ronald s’est montré très réactif face a nos questions et nous a toujours aidé. Le logement est très proche de la cascade Llano del Cortez donc c’était super ! Par contre le chemin qui nous avons pris pour arriver au logement est assez rocailleux, il faut vraiment y aller doucement avec la voiture…

We had a great time at Zulu! Right in the middle of town and just a few steps from the beach, which was great for going to restaurants, supermarkets, bars and the perfect beach day. Staff was super friendly, helped us with recommendations nearby and tours. Fully recommend staying here, El Mercadito right next to the hotel had the nicest vibe, lots of greenery, live music and drinks and food were perfect. There’s also the cutest and most delicious bakery next to Zulu, that’s a must try! Thank you Zulu team for making our stay in Tamarindo so fun 🙂

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. It was easy to find, has parking, and the location is so close to to the beach. It was really nice using the provided beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We also really enjoyed using the common refrigerator and kitchen. The breakfast every morning was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Mi familia y yo quedamos muy satisfechos, la casa amplia, en muy buen estado, muy limpias las sábanas y la casa en general. La ubicación de la casa excelente muy cerca de las playas más bonitas y de los centros comerciales. Súper recomendada, la atención de la dueña muy gentil y flexible.
