Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

We absolutely loved this place. It is well maintained and has everything you need. It feels like home. The woodwork in the house is so beautiful. The property is gorgeous and has trails to explore. Carolina and Manuel arranged to get some specially requested food for our stay. They had the food there for our arrival which was so helpful. Manuel took us on an awesome night hike. Carolina’s husband also gave us a tour of the property too. Carolina and her family really go out of their way to make this a welcoming place. They grow amazing coffee on the property which we really enjoyed. They also shared their garden veggies and the bananas. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed longer. We found it easy to go into Monteverde for activities like coffee tours, cloud forest, animal sanctuary el Tigre waterfall, etc. There are some great restaurants close by the house and of course in monteverde too. We enjoyed ordering homemade empanadas from cafe Horizonte for breakfast.

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Words truly can't capture how incredible this property is! We've stayed in many Airbnbs across different locations, but nothing has come close to this experience. The home and grounds are absolutely stunning—but it was the location and our amazing hosts, David and Josie, that made this stay unforgettable. We arrived at the start of rainy season, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all—thoughtful touches like covered walkways and outdoor spaces made it easy to enjoy everything, rain or shine. From the abundant wildlife to the peaceful seclusion, and the wealth of local knowledge they shared, every moment was exceptional! This place is a gem!

Great condo, plenty of space and easy access to the beach via shuttle! Comfy beds and all amenities you need ! I would love to stay again!

Spacious and well equipped, the villa is located close to the beach and grocery stores. It was perfect for our family of four for a spring break vacation. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Ilyas place. We had asked Ilya for recommendations of places to eat and see while we were there and he sent over detailed messages of places around the area. He provided us a thorough walkthrough of the condo and the property. Made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Coco

The views along are worth it, and super friendly horses on the property is something our kids absolutely loved!

We just had a 5-day stay at Drew's apartment at Playa Grande. Absolutely loved the location, easy access in and out, walkability to the beach and restaurants, great room sizes, large deck, pool option, and excellent commucation from the owners. Definitely great value for the price!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This was the perfect place to stay in Tamarindo! There is a pool, the bungalows are cute and functional, and Jose has some friendly pets who like to greet you when you walk in. There is secure parking and the space feels private. It is walkable to the town center & the beach, but also far enough away from the bars where the sound is not bothersome. Would definitely choose to stay here again!

It‘s a lovely house with a pool. It is very well located in the center of Samara close to everything. The hosts communicated very proactively and friendly.

I highly recommend this place! Photos do not do it justice. We found it bigger than expected, the views are breathtaking and location was great for by the beach & everything within a 5 min drive. Spent lots of time at (both) pools and had them to ourself everyday. Hosts were quick to remedy any issues & easy to communicate. Will definitely be back!

The condo is very nice and would recommend staying here. Very close to really nice beach clean and safe. Held seven of us comfortably. Having a kitchen and washer dryer was added bonus.

Great house, short walk to town, nice rooms and everything’s really accessible. Pool warms up nicely with the weather and the slide is bit bigger then you think. Great place to stay
