Vacation rentals with breakfast in Guanacaste Province

Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for our family of seven. Very clean, comfortable, the pool and the outside was enjoyable for hanging out during the hot afternoon hours. Walkable to the beach and great restaurants. House is right in the center of town but felt nestled away from the hustle and bustle. The staff was responsive and helped us with getting golf carts and daily activities. We have been to Nosara several times and this was rated the best by our teenagers! Will definitely come again.

Our group of 12 had a fantastic stay at Jungle House. We loved the set up, the teenagers all slept in the casita and the parents in the main house. Rooms were clean and had plenty of space. We loved the open air common area, with plenty of seating for meals and congregating, and the pool table offering lots of entertainment in our downtime. The pool was secluded and so relaxing. The Jungle House is exactly as described…it’s not a modern, fancy place, but rather a jungle oasis nestled in the trees surrounded by wildlife. Marta and Evelio were beyond fantastic and treated us daily to the most incredible Costa Rican fare. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. The location is perfection…steps from the beach and easy walk into town. For the surfers it had a great board locker to securely hold tons of boards. We felt safe and secure during our stay within the gated property. Highly recommend for large groups looking for an amazing and authentic vacation in Nosara.

Rancho Alegre was amazing. A stunning and absolutely beautiful home. The living areas were perfect for our large group - dinners, games etc. and what an awesome pool. One day we opted for the pool over the beach. The bedrooms are beautiful and expansive, each with a walkin closet and luxury hotel worthy en suite bathroom. Hacienda Pinilla is also amazing - beaches are probably the best we have ever been to, the rec activities - golf, tennis, pickle ball and mountain biking were all fun as well. And we saw monkeys and iguanas everyday. And one day saw the Red Macaws. WOW! We cannot wait to book again and go back, this time for a longer stay.

We have stayed at Casa Isabelita multiple times. It is always so peaceful. We hope to stay again.

Danny is a super helpful and kind guy. He also gave us a lot of useful information for restaurants and beaches... The gentlemen who live under the apartment are very sweet, they prepared breakfast for us and washed our clothes with great pleasure. Highly recommended for the home and especially for hospitality

The apartment has all the amenities for a stay in Tamarindo. It is located next to the Sofia Restaurant, which is a great alternative to go to. The location is undoubtedly very convenient as it is a 100-meter walk from Playa Tamarindo and very close to Playa Langosta. Communication with the owners was very quick and they were always available. Even to provide us with some extra details for the house. Recommended for both a short or longer stay. My husband and I needed some rest and we found it at the Innerlight Yoga lodge. The location is exceptional! Playa Sámara is set in a bay, so swimming is much more peaceful. The day started with a yoga class given by Federica, followed by a homemade breakfast. Everything was great. And what about the pool in which we were refreshing at the end of the day! Federica is an outstanding yoga teacher and host. She takes care of this stunning place with her husband Roberto. We'll definitely go back!

Everything was great during our stay. The location is perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The room has everything you will probably need, also the shared kitchen is well equiped. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

I can’t say enough good things about El Refugio! I stayed for 4 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. My room was cozy but straightforward, with a lovely view of the pool. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was so good that I even brought some back home with me to the States. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the host, Agustin, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was attentive, always available to answer our questions, and provided us with great local recommendations. When we arrived, Agustin shared a detailed map with suggestions for restaurants, bars, and things to do in the area. He also offered help with booking excursions, including a beach tour we were interested in that was a bit farther out. Throughout our stay, he kept us updated on local events, which made our trip even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend El Refugio to anyone visiting the area, and I would definit

Surrounded by lush jungle greenery and just minutes from the beach, it feels like a hidden gem where nature and comfort coexist perfectly. The container-based architecture is not only unique and stylish, but it also blends beautifully with the environment—modern, minimal, and eco-conscious. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, sipping coffee on the deck, and walking to the waves in the morning made this stay unforgettable. The entire vibe is peaceful, grounding, and inspiring. One night stay was perfect here. Karla and Alberto made sure we were taken care of and provided a delicious breakfast with a great spread of food. Nice pool and weight area available. The location is ideal walking distance to the beach. Would return again.

During our staying Costa Rica, we stayed at five different places. This was my absolute favorite! It was private, clean, very peaceful. Elmer and Kyna were available for anything we needed, or suggestions on things to do in the area. Avellanas was also one of my favorite beaches, beautiful waves, and perfect for surf! There was just the right amount to do in the town. Nothing too hectic, but choices of restaurants and places to shop within walking distance of our place. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone!

We had the best time staying at Calypso. The host Nico was friendly and personable, and we felt right at home. It was the perfect location being in walking distance to everything in the area that you would want to see. It was clean and a beautifully unique property. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here!
