Townhome vacation rentals in Carbis Bay

As always, this escape from reality at beautiful cottage lets the mind and sole recuperate. if you can imagine a slice of the Cornish holiday escape you will find it here. if the house is available we will return time and time again.

The flat is amazing and in an ideal location. It has its own car parking space which is in the barriered car park on the other side of the harbour which we could clearly see from the lounge and bedroom windows. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for clothes etc. We will definitely stay again and we have already recommended the flat to our daughter and her husband. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions and was very happy to help us.

We can highly recommend Waves End. Undoubtedly one of the best large properties for holiday rental in St Ives. Spacious, extremely well equipped and furnished, spotless, and with beautiful views from the front over St Ives harbour. It is a short walk to the centre of St Ives and all the beaches. The only things one should be aware of are:- - that initial access is through the garage at the rear and down steps so care is needed for young children and anyone with mobility issues, and luggage needs to be carried down the steps as you cannot stop to unload at the front of the property. It is a short walk from the rear round to the front for anyone wishing to avoid the steps. The front door is directly on the short walk into the town. - As the host explains the garage is on a narrowish lane so parking the car in the garage needs care. The second car parking space is a short walk away and is easily accessible. Will be high on our list for our next holiday in St Ives.

We had the best time at Mark’s airbnb. The perfect place to stay to explore the newquay beaches. There were 13 of us but we felt we had loads of room! Mark was an amazing host and did everything to make sure we had a great stay!

Had the best family New Year at Rose's. Beautiful welcoming and very cosy home. Stunning sea views from the house. Right near the shops, pubs and restaurants. Excellent communication from Rose giving you all the required information you need and more. Could not of wished for a better family break set in the most fabulous location. The house has ample space providing you with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Fresh towels, toiletries, lots of games to play, the list goes on. Would very highly recommended and we will most definitely be returning.

Great location for camel trail and the town. House was as described with good living space. Driveway a little small which surprised us but managed to fit a Tesla model y on it with the nose on the pavement. But otherwise absolutely great. Helen was great with communication and details. Would stay again

Gorgeous 3 storey home that’s very modern and nicely decorated. Very roomy and comfortable. Beautiful view with field and water with tall windows! Close to lovely hikes and shops. Would love to stay again next time we are back!

Lovely accomodation in excellent location close to Falmouth centre. Cosy and seaside-y feeling decoration. Great to have off-street parking. The hosts always responded really quickly to our questions, and seem to be lovely caring people. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks :)

A lovely, well presented and well equipped townhouse. It is ideally located (walking distance from restaurants, shops and beaches), and has everything you need for a short break or holiday. Deena is a fabulous host! She was easy to contact, provided clear instructions and was very warm and welcoming when we arrived. Overall, we loved our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone seeking a good base while exploring beautiful Cornwall!

We really enjoyed our stay in Newquay and Catherine/Alistair's house which is very well located for beaches and the town centre. The house is very comfortable and well kitted out. We were mostly eating out but all the equipment was there for self catering if we had needed it. They were very responsive and helpful with any queries we had and shared plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to eat locally.

We had a fabulous stay, thank you! The house is really well equipped, clean and modern. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the hot tub was a great bonus. Location is perfect. We’d definitely return and recommend.

fantastic couple of days at Christopher's with 2 dogs. The house is beautifully furnished with high quality fixtures, bed linen etc and lots of much appreciated added touches(kitchen ingredients, chocolates, milk, dog biscuits, a wealth of local information) which made us feel very welcomed. Super dog friendly with secure garden and picturesque walks from the door. Perfect central location with pubs, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk but still peaceful. Parking was easily found outside the door. Christopher provided all the information we needed in advance plus in the welcome package in the house but was also available by message for additional information, very friendly guy. Highly recommended! 11/10

Lovely home near the centre of Padstow. Easy walk to where all the bars and restaurants are. We stayed here with our baby and had plenty of room. Felt very homely and comfortable beds. Well equipped with everything we needed, able to cook meals etc. We didn’t use it but there is also a nice outside seating space with bbq. Helpful and friendly hosts.

What a little piece of heaven this place is – I cannot rate it highly enough. Jasmin has created the most beautiful, cosy and well-appointed space, so close to (walk to) everything in Penzance and with an attention to detail – from the quality of the furniture and bedlinen, the comfort of the beds and lounge room (cosy reading nooks galore!) to the fully decked out kitchen for self-catering and recliners on the little sun deck) rare for an airbnb. The house is light and bright, you can't help but feel at home here. My daughters and I stayed for three nights and Jasmin was on text whenever we needed her (for local recommendations and any kind of help) – an incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful host. Thanks so much for having us!

This is a brilliant place to stay. Perfectly located close to the town centre. The house was spacious, exactly as described, perfectly equipped, and the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Weekend food starter pack and the makings of a cream tea only added to the feeling of generosity from the hosts along with proactive, friendly messaging. What an absolute gem!

We had a 4-night stay, having travelled down for a wedding in nearby St Ives. The photos of the property were an excellent reflection of the house, and all the rooms were very clean and well furnished. Our host, Nick, lived nearly, and was very friendly on the occasions we bumped into him. He'd kindly left a few supplies in the kitchen for us (a pint of milk, some apple juice, crisps and some biscuits), as well as things like washing-up liquid, dishwasher/washing machine tablets and tea/coffe/sugar. The accommodation is in a quiet residential street. There's some through-traffic, but not much. It took 10-15 mins to walk to the nearby local train station (ideal for St Ives) and another 5-10 mins to the quiet sandy beach at Carbis Bay. The hill to the station and beach is long and very steep in places, but there are small car parks at both locations. Carbis Bay is very quiet with few shops, but we enjoyed drinks from the Italian deli (walked) and fish+chips at a nearby restaurant (drove)

We loved our stay at Sea View Cottage. The location, with the terrace overlooking the harbour was perfect and really showed off Penzance. Shona made us feel so at home with fresh flowers and coffee, teas, hers,oils- lots of cooking ingredients. Will be our first choice for our next Pirate adventure!!

Would highly recommend to stay at this property! The house is beautiful and you get all the amenities. It is hardly 10 mins walk from the station and also from the centre. The hosts are co-operative and helpful!

We had a great stay ! It was a perfect location. For us as we were attending a competition on Fistral beach. It was just a short walk to the beach so perfect when we were surfing in our down time as we didn’t have to drive and park the car elsewhere and town was just a short walk up the hill or more scenic route across the top of Fistral. Alan was always responsive and would stay again! Thank you

We had a great weekend get away at Camille’s property. Very cute and cosy cottage, within easy walking distance to all restaurants and activities in Falmouth! The property was very easy to get into, with a convenient and secure off street park. We would happily stay again on another trip to Cornwall.
