Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

We so enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful home! It was the perfect get away and very kid friendly! The backyard is fenced and the whole place is clean and nicely decorated! About 15 minutes to the beach and 25 minutes to downtown, overall a wonderful stay! 5/5

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

The house was in a beautiful neighborhood. The cupboards were stocked with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. There were even Half-Caff coffee pods—which is exactly what we brew at home! The house was immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. We will definitely book Kathi’s house again if we return to the area.

It was asolutely beautiful here! after booking, we were so excited to hear they installed extras on the property and we got to enjoy a fire pit as well as the jacuzzi. easy drive to the beach and local stores and shops to entertain everyone. I would definitely come back with my littles next time, there was a lot to accommodate children! the only issue I had was unlocking the door and even though it was 1am, I was able to get someone on the phone to let me inside. wonderful stay!! 10/10

We love the location of the house close to restaurants and the beach access. The home is adorable there are a lot of beautiful paintings. we really like the screened-in back porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book here again. David was very responsive with any questions. The house was very clean and spacious, the location is tucked away and quiet but also extremely accessible to anywhere you may want to go in the area.

We einjoyed exploring the little shops + restaurants around town! Willabee Market, Chapmans, Neko Thai and Sushi, and just the nice areas to walk and window shop! Such cute little town! This little cottage was the perfect little slice of peace and relaxation! We had a great little getaway !

Great location - near UNCW, Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. Very clean, great fully fenced yard, flexible with check in, and all beds are very comfortable! Definitely recommend!

Great relaxing stay and the grandkids loved having the yard to play in after a long drive. Wanda had snacks and coffee available which was a wonderful treat! The Grands and we adults liked that little extra touch! Everything was perfect and we enjoyed a good nights sleep after a long day of driving. Steve and Wanda are very responsive and helpful to answer any questions we had! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

My wife and I as well as our 2 kids and our pittie Mama loved our stay. it's the perfect spot for those with a furry family member. Right at the lake and the beach. We plan to save Lisa's place for possible future trips. Be sure to check out the dog photo book of all of the four legged guests when you stay. ❤️

We loved the location and as others have mentioned the bathroom is amazing. Perfect spot for a few days at the beach and we would definitely stay again.

We traveled to the Wilmington area for our nephew’s high school graduation. We’ve been to the area several times throughout the years staying in hotels or other accommodations. Finding this “Oasis” was terrific and so refreshing! It’s located in an obscure area, off the beaten path for sure, situated behind a few buildings and a small skate park. But when you open the door and walk in, the house is cool, fresh, clean, with an open floor plan, lots of light, and stylish! All necessary items were easy to find, they thought of everything you’d need. There’s a small body of water and woods surrounding you-it’s absolutely peaceful and relaxing. From the moment we found the property online and connected with Jimmy, the booking process was very easy, he was very responsive, courteous and helpful. There’s plenty to do in the area-Topsail Island, downtown Wilmington, restaurants and other cool location spots are all nearby. We hope to stay there again! Thank you, Jimmy!

Upon arrival I imagined the house being a cute cottage near the beach. However the house is designed very open and felt really big! It also has a huge backyard, so you could bring a pet. The house is maybe a 3 minute walk to the beach and is on a very quiet street. Angela is a phenomenal host who was able to accommodate us for some technical errors that occurred at the house. I will definitely plan my next stay here if the house is available.

I had a fantastic stay at Catherine’s place! The home was clean & cozy, the property was beautiful & peaceful. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Catherine was responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is cute cottage only a 3 min walk to the ocean. There was also restaurants and a store you could walk to. Also a very nice fishing pier. We drove to fort fisher which was really neat. Rode the fairy to Southport. Drove to Carolina beach for the day. There was lots to do.

We had an incredible stay at Sheri’s place. The little house is in such a great location - we walked to a coffee shop every morning, and the neighborhood is so quaint. The house itself is precious, filled with treasures from all over the world (and labeled accordingly - which was such a cool touch!). It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for two and we would absolutely stay again 100 times over.

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at One Beachin' Cottage for a long Memorial Day weekend. The cottage is comfy & we appreciate that it's pet friendly. Although the street where the Cottage is quiet and fairly traffic-free, it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We appreciated how close it is to the Tiki Bar, The Spot, and the Veggie Wagon. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at this home in Lake Waccamaw. I’ve met my in laws there, and my parents on two separate occasions, and everyone from the eldest down to the youngest, has been thrilled and comfortable in the house, immensely enjoyed the location on the lake with a private dock and boats, had a ton of fun, and deeply appreciated Sam’s wonderful communication and hosting. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

The Captains Cottage was probably the nicest airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! The industrial kitchen, high ceilings, beautiful porches, large windows throughout the house overlooking the park with the beautiful pavilion and live oaks across the street - everything made it feel so luxurious yet also so homey. We loved being close to the shops and the waterfront. Also very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Host is very responsive and helpful as well!

Bryan’s place was amazing for Memorial Day weekend for me and my friends to stay at. Right across from the beach, very clean, and the entire place was newly renovated. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a spot to stay in Kure/Carolina Beach!
