Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

We so enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful home! It was the perfect get away and very kid friendly! The backyard is fenced and the whole place is clean and nicely decorated! About 15 minutes to the beach and 25 minutes to downtown, overall a wonderful stay! 5/5

Marla’s place was home away from home for us. The cottage was exactly as described, peaceful, private, cute and enjoyable. The 1st best part was that it was a fenced in yard for our two large puppies. The 2nd best part was Marla acted as family being our host, making sure we got in on time extending our checkout time due to us arriving in at 4am, I mean she even left lights on for us so we didn’t walk into a dark unknown house. It was amazing and we will definitely book again.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

It was asolutely beautiful here! after booking, we were so excited to hear they installed extras on the property and we got to enjoy a fire pit as well as the jacuzzi. easy drive to the beach and local stores and shops to entertain everyone. I would definitely come back with my littles next time, there was a lot to accommodate children! the only issue I had was unlocking the door and even though it was 1am, I was able to get someone on the phone to let me inside. wonderful stay!! 10/10

It truly was peaceful and comfortable. Everything was there, even dog bowls and a dog bed. It was a hectic time getting ready for my daughter’s wedding and this place certainly was an oasis to come back to in between all the activities. Yesenia was an amazing host! She replied so promptly and kindly. I can’t say enough about this place!

Our family loved this house and location - plenty of room, easy walk to the beach, tennis courts out back, friendly neighbors, easy access to restaurants and stores. Jim was responded quickly when we asked for help with supplies. The spring pollen factor was high - so be ready! We washed the decks and chairs and that improved things. We will return!

This was a very clean, comfortable and attractive place to stay. The location was very convenient to all the wonderful things Wilmington has to offer. The owners were very helpful with check in and provided a lovely place.

This is a lovely house on one of the best streets at Sunset Beach. The living space is exactly as shown and was very comfortable for 5 adults and one dog. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, the beds were comfortable, and all the basics were provided. Janet is a very friendly host and easy to communicate with; she responded quickly to small requests and was very kind. And being that close to the west end of the beach was pretty amazing -- we enjoyed our week!

Upon arrival I imagined the house being a cute cottage near the beach. However the house is designed very open and felt really big! It also has a huge backyard, so you could bring a pet. The house is maybe a 3 minute walk to the beach and is on a very quiet street. Angela is a phenomenal host who was able to accommodate us for some technical errors that occurred at the house. I will definitely plan my next stay here if the house is available.

Loved the stay. The location was great for all the local bars and attractions. And at the night it’s very peaceful with little to no noise. Definitely would stay again

I had a fantastic stay at Catherine’s place! The home was clean & cozy, the property was beautiful & peaceful. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Catherine was responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Home away from home. The Coral Cottage had everything we needed to be comfy.

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at One Beachin' Cottage for a long Memorial Day weekend. The cottage is comfy & we appreciate that it's pet friendly. Although the street where the Cottage is quiet and fairly traffic-free, it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We appreciated how close it is to the Tiki Bar, The Spot, and the Veggie Wagon. We will definitely be back!

Great location - near UNCW, Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. Very clean, great fully fenced yard, flexible with check in, and all beds are very comfortable! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I as well as our 2 kids and our pittie Mama loved our stay. it's the perfect spot for those with a furry family member. Right at the lake and the beach. We plan to save Lisa's place for possible future trips. Be sure to check out the dog photo book of all of the four legged guests when you stay. ❤️

We loved this place! It was extremely clean & easy access to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

We booked this home to celebrate my mom’s life, as we lost her in March. Carolina Beach was her favorite place (and she visited the entire country) so it felt right. This place was decorated just as she would have liked and was in an ideal location. Close enough to the beach for my 4 year old to walk without complaint but not in a noisy or busy area. Also within 5 minutes of all the major restaurants and attractions! Beautiful and ideal location ❤️

The cottage was absolutely perfect, it felt like home from the moment we walked in. So peaceful and private, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. We especially loved the outdoor shower and the back porch; the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. The fenced-in backyard was a huge plus for our family, and the quiet neighborhood made everything feel calm and restful. The beach was just a short, easy walk away, and the directions provided by the host made it even more enjoyable. There was so much to see and explore along the way , it was a little adventure for both us and the kids. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you 😊

Beautiful home in a gated community, very safe and peaceful. It is tucked away in the back so you have wonderful views of the marsh/ocean and sunrise. Neighbors were friendly. The home was clean and had your basic toiletries for use, lots of towels. The community does have some coyotes so we had to be a bit watchful when walking the dogs but did not have any issues with them. Host was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Waccamaw! The home was spotless when we arrived, and the location right on the lake was absolutely beautiful. We loved having access to the kayaks and took full advantage of them during our stay. The grill and all the included accessories made it easy to enjoy meals outdoors. Communication with Mr. Sam was excellent he reached out the day before to provide all the information we needed and let me know I could call him anytime if anything came up. His hospitality really stood out and made our stay even better. We would definitely book again for a future trip to Lake Waccamaw. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, lakefront getaway!

This was our second time staying at the Flying sea cow. This is been our favorite place to stay when visiting Carolina Beach. We love being able to ride the beach cruiser bikes, and how close it is to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. Jen and Eric’s place is super cute and cozy. Her place has a lot of character and charm.
