Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Cape Fear River

I stayed for a month with Marsh and he is a fantastic and friendly host. His house is in a very good location for exploring Raleigh. Marsh makes you feel right at home and he is very down to earth and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here anytime for any amount of time and I'll be sure to try to book this place the next time I'm in Raleigh.

Mary Betty was so friendly , gracious and just a joy !!! We Felt right at home from the moment we arrived … The house is beautiful from top to bottom. If you are an antique/ history lover there is plenty for the eye to see and more information to be learned at this B&B We can’t say enough about Ms Mary and her home. The breakfast she prepared was quite delicious as well This place is a 10 out of 10 !!!!!

Ida is a wonderful hostess. Her B and B is perfect and neat as a pin. Her hospitality was wonderful. I only hope I am in the area again.

We only stayed one night with Sherry and David, but my girlfriend and I were very impressed with the accommodations. The hosts were very warm and helpful. Their house is extravagant and clean. I hooe to stay longer in the future.

This friendly little b-n-b was a find… it’s on a quiet street and right on the intercoastal waterway, with a little sunroom overlooking the water where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Phoebe was an absolute pleasure - excellent communicator and great company over breakfast. I was in town visiting family but she was well equipped for vacationers, with kayaks and a hot tub. Highly recommended!

my husband and I stayed one night at the Pine Gables bed and breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. From start to finish Mollie was the best. Very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Her detailed directions for checking in made it a breeze. Mollies home was beautifully decorated. our room was so cozy comfy with all you need. Morning coffee on the porch was lovely.

John was able to accommodate my young adult college age daughter for a trip to scope out ECU. It was like having another family member there to help keep a safety eye on her. My daughter loved the place, loved John, and felt safe and secure. I couldn’t ask for anything more! Thanks again so much for helping us out. I was a perfect stay.

What a lovely lady and a lovely place to stay! Traveling alone I wanted to feel safe with a lady hostess and everything about this visit met that need above and beyond. I highly recommend this wonderful BnB!

The experience was top elegance of southern hospitality. My gripe was I don't like modern art, but the outstanding beauty of everything else overcomes that gripe. The breakfast especially was memorable. The closest comparison I have to make is staying in a southern edition of Downton Abbey.

Don’t hesitate to stay here! Such a picturesque bed and breakfast. The owner John was beyond friendly and accommodating. He was happy to make it feel just like home. The rooms were charming, comfortable, spotless, and guaranteed good nights rest. I stayed in the Wooten room and it was perfect for one traveler. Not only was the atmosphere and service wonderful, the food was INCREDIBLE. John is a hell of a cook and makes the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted with his secret ingredient! I also have a gluten allergy and he went above and beyond to provide! Freshly baked waffles with strawberries and syrup one morning, and a DECADENT cinnamon coffee cake….even packed me a piece to hit the road with! Coffee was also perfectly brewed which is a must for this caffeine addict. Book! Book! Book! Cannot wait for my return trip to new bern! Thank you John!

Wow! Where do I start…this place is amazing! First off, the pictures on here do not do it justice! I would recommend searching it on google. This b&b is extremely beautiful and right out of a movie! The room and location were perfection. However, what really stood out was the service. You will be greeted by Eppy, who will welcome you and collect any details regarding your arrival! Upon arriving, we met Angie! She is an angel! She makes you feel right at home, so warm and welcoming! The previous review about never being hungry is TRUE!! She makes a killer breakfast!! Not exaggerating whatsoever!! I could honestly keep writing about our incredible experience, fortunately there’s limited characters. If you are looking for a beautiful, magical & wonderful place to stay in Wilmington, do not look any further! You will not find anything that comes close to Angie’s!! Angie & Eppy are so special. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for making our trip so lovely!

New Bern is a great little town to explore. Wished we had more time to do more. The B&B was so nice. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay there again when we visit.

My family and I had a delightful stay here. Our 21-month-old som had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the toys and the company of the host’s daughters. The daughters are adorable and chickens are charming, adding a special touch to our experience. We loved the special activities, like collecting fresh eggs from the coop and cooking with them. It was a memorable experience, and we would like to stay here again. Thank you so much, Magali!

Lynn is a very respectful person and always aware of the people who are in her house The house is very nice, very clean with everything you need to be comfortable and it is in a very good area close to many places and beaches 10/10

I had so much fun at Joseph & Tina's Bed & Brew! These hosts are wonderful, the location is perfect and the handcrafted beer is pro-level! The town's festival was amazing; but even better was the live band at the B&B. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Beautiful fascinating historical place, comfortable and lovingly and carefully restored. Great safe convenient location Easy to come and go. Hosts were so helpful with extra information as well as their book on Washington. Continental breakfast was better than anything I ever expected. Each and everything was above and beyond. Delicious and available when we needed. It would be hard to go anywhere else, knowing this was available

Had a wonderful stay at Alyson's place, she made us feel right at home. The room had its own separate entrance from the main house. There was a common sitting area and mini kitchen setup shared with one other room. But we had our own bathroom. Each morning and evening Alyson left prepared mini breakfast bites or cookies. Alyson was responsive, welcoming and helpful before and throughout our stay. Would highly recommend as an option when visiting the area.

Cristin was always available and very hospitable! It made the stay such a pleasure. Accommodation was spacious, clean, and welcoming!

Great stay with Laurel and Mike. Homestay is apt description with period decor accented by touch turn bedside lamps with USB charging ports and the best rain shower heads in Swansboro. Mike was so gracious but the star is Laurel and her labour of love cuisine giving any big city chef a run for the money. Her Indiana comes South original scones recipe was amazing. Laurel cooking and Mike serving definitely made breakfast the best meal of the day especially shrimp and grits with sausage and locally fresh shrimp had us groaning full and skipping lunch both days. It will take us awhile to get over the memory of dream breakfast and adjust back to daily normal.

Debbie was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Delicious breakfast in the morning and lovely conversation. Space was inviting and comfortable. Great shampoo and conditioner available also! (My hair is super soft right now). Would definitely stay here again and even looking forward to it already!

Enjoyed our stay in the sunflower room. The house was beautiful, with modern amenities you could still feel the history of the house.

Had a wonderful time there and everything from shops to restaurants were walking distance. “Shelby” was made to feel right at home. Super hosts!

Ryan was extremely friendly and the place was exactly as described and they were flexible with my late arrival. Clean and comfortable and Ryan even made breakfast and coffee. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area!

From booking to checking out Ernie was a delight to work with and stay with. The room was as described having plenty of space for sleeping, lounging, and working. WiFi connection was great for streaming meetings with remote connections needed. Not only were there offerings of fresh baked goods, fruit, and bottled water but also amazing conversation and the feeling of being right at home while allowing for personal space with the private room and bath for each guest. I will definitely stay again as my visits to Laurinburg continue beyond my daughter’s time at St.Andrews.
