Vacation rentals in Durham

This place was one of the nicest Airbnbs I've stayed at! Very cute decor, exceptionally clean, lots of extras, and the beds were super-comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large front porch. Beth was a also a pleasure to work with and had helpful information about the area. We didn't need to move our car the entire weekend, as the house is right in Carrboro, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and will book again when I'm in the area.

Peidi’s place was perfect for us. It was well furnished and had everything one could need in the kitchen and bathrooms for a very comfortable stay. The king size beds were very comfortable. The condo was adjacent to the Greenway which provided great walks around a beautiful lake and was close to an array of excellent stores, including Harris Teeter. We will definitely be coming back!!

Just stayed for a week with two people and a dog. Great location and set up - we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Walkable to Duke's East Campus and lots of restaurants downtown, but the neighborhood is quiet and great for dog walking.

This was a great little Airbnb. It had a family of deer right outside the door. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. Had lots of amenities, including a replacement toothbrush after I realized I had forgotten mine.

I highly recommend Lucy's property if you are in town for a DPAC or Bulls Stadium event. Both are short walks away from her location. There are also plenty of bars, restaurants, and things to do nearby. She also has a zero gravity massage chair that is great! Do not waste money on a hotel...stay here!

Haley and Sam were solicitous, responded quickly to all my messages, and even thoughtfully offered a late check-out, which I greatly appreciated. Their place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. If you're looking for a convenient spot with easy walking access to Duke University, this is definitely the place to stay! I recommend their place and would absolutely return.

A great two bedroom apartment for the value. Very central to Durham. I really appreciated the proactive and open communication as we needed a drain unclogged and they fixed it same day!

I loved everything about Jeanette's tiny house AirBnB. I felt inspired to have stayed there for three nights. I got a lot of work accomplished for my clients while staying there. As well as now feeling rested and ready for the next leg of my journey. Even the exterior and interiordesign of this tiny house inspired me. I hope one day I'll be able to design and build something that evokes the same feeling of spaciousness in such a small space—perhaps as a studio for my creative projects that might also double as a place where my visitors might stay. Highly recommended!

We visit our son and DIL who live nearby, and know we would love to book this home in the future. Michael took a chance on us, allowing me to host a family dinner in honor of a special family occasion. It was magical. The back porch lends itself to gatherings with friends and family. I loved sitting on the front porch overlooking the pond with my coffee watching the various birds, including hummingbirds. The house was well-appointed, comfortable and stocked with necessities. The shower in the master bathroom was total LUX! Mainly, Michael was one of the most responsive and enthusiastic hosts I’ve worked with in my many years of staying at AirbnB’s. Thank you so much!

Nick and Corin were amazing! This home is gorgeous and has everything! My husband and I loved the fireplace, the large soaking tub, and walk in shower in the master bedroom were so cozy and relaxing! The enclosed porch was so beautiful and helped with relaxing. Highly recommend.

This was a perfect place for me and my 2 kitties in Durham for two months. Kay was responsive when we had some wifi troubles, and otherwide let us be (which works great for me). Plenty of room, well stocked, decent desk for my workspace, two comfy beds, nice yard. It's not a great neighborhood, but the immediate space around the house, the block we were on, was perfectly save. Adorable home, obviously a place where people have lived.

The house was clean, immaculate, had all amenities that were needed. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms were all great/comfortable. Gazebo in back was a very nice touch on a Spring day. Host was friendly and very responsive. Came into Durham with family members and all enjoyed.

We stayed here with 12 of our family members for graduation and it was the perfect place for all of us! The kitchen was great. We loved the outdoor space (and the hot tub). They’ve done a great job preserving the historic nature of the house while also updating- my Aunt was raving about how much she loved the shower! We loved that we could walk to the farmers market on Saturday morning! Taylor was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!

Gayathri’s place was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 during commencement weekend. I cannot say enough good things about her and the space she has created. The family room easily accommodated our group to gather and enjoy time together, and we loved that each bedroom had a king size bed. The location is perfect for quick and easy access to campus and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Gayathri quickly responded to any messages and was such a joy to communicate with. She also left some breakfast items for us which was much appreciated the morning after we arrived. It was so nice to not have to run to the store the moment we arrived. The coffee she provided was also much appreciated! If you have a group visiting Durham and this home is available, do not hesitate to book!

The bungalow was a nice place for a personal retreat. The use of space was inspiring. The first day I glamped out on the screened-in porch because I loved being surrounded by all the trees and birdsongs. The sounds of nature were delightful and softened the sounds from I-40. (Wearing my Air Pods greatly reduced the highway noise while on the back deck.) Due to the rainy weather I didn't walk the trail or use the sauna. The compost toilet was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it wasn't a huge issue since I traveled alone. However, I would really have to love someone to share this type of toileting arrangement. Overall, I enjoyed my peaceful stay.

Love this place! Have stayed here twice and look forward to staying again.

My dogs and I loved staying here so much! They were able to run around in the yard and I had a comfy couch to watch television and a kitchen to cook in. I got really great sleep every night. Excellent place ^-^

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The cottage is well appointed, well maintained, and has everything you may need As for the property itself - the 30 acres with trails were spectacular. Sitting outside by the firepit watching the chickens while having your morning coffee is the perfect way to start the day. Michael was an amazing host ... helpful, responsive, and accommodating. We hope to return in the near future.

This is truly a unique find when looking for a place to stay. The space is beautiful inside and out. Everything was very clean and tidy. Location is close to so many places in the area. A cozy fire pit and backyard space. Host was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This home is perfect for two. Amazing how well laid out and equipped a small home can be. So clean and well organized. Loved the cottage feel and the mature trees overhanging the rear patio. Check in was a breeze with code provided in advance for arrival at our leisure. Thanks Amanda!

Here is the text for the review because I know you don’t wanna do it Natasha 😝 This home was extremely well stocked. The host had thought of everything at this lovely home. Check in was easy. We were welcomed by homemade cookies, eggs from the farm, milk, orange juice, bread and more. The home was very clean. Plenty of towels and the robes in each room was a nice touch! The hosts were very friendly and responsive. My friends brought their three little dogs who also enjoyed the stay while watching the cows, sheep, and goats on the farm!
