We spent 2 nights celebrating my wife’s birthday, it was as described. Mrs. Betty was a Gracious host. Cabin was all decorated everything needed for A short trip. The farm was peaceful and picturesque. Mr Jerry was friendly and helpful and made sure everyone had fun. My 6 and 9 year old kids easily caught there first fish by themself, the teenagers in the group caught a Whopper Largemouth Bass and plenty of smaller 1 and 2 lb fish also. We will come again

The location was perfect -in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still really close to downtown, great restaurants, coffee shops, and everything we wanted to explore! We had such a great experience and would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Raleigh. Highly recommend!

Mena is such a great host! The cabin had everything you could possibly need, all the necessary small appliances you could ever use, well stocked spice tray plus much more! Not to mention, the cabin is decorated so perfectly and the deck is extremely inviting to just sit and read or just enjoy the view of the lake. The dock is perfect for sun-bathing or fishing. Perfect getaway. I will be back!
