Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Canal du Midi

We had a great time at Paul's house. The views are magnificent, the pool is too. The living and dining area is open and bright and very suitable for groups. Also the division of the bedrooms. You have the option to retreat if you want. Paul was always available and gave us helpful tips. His father was also very friendly. Both speak good English. We will be happy to come back anytime!

Laure and Julien were very welcoming and considerate towards us from the time of our booking and throughout our stay. The house is very pleasant to stay in, super well-equipped, and very well insulated. The environment is really peaceful. The children enjoyed the large garden (with swings and a cabin) and the river surroundings. The dishes offered are very good, the cuisine is refined and well presented. Steven even adapted to my gluten-free diet without a problem. And the cherry on top, a stove in the middle of the living room that warms hearts ♥️

The reviews on Adrien and Emma's cottage are unanimous and praise the quality of the home, its amenities and its environment. A 5 out of 5 as the area is beautiful and the region (Minervois around Carcassonne) is attractive due to the diversity of activities. Kilometers by car on deserted and shaded roads, pure happiness! But also walks and swims nearby (from the exit of the cottage for the first) and a few kilometers for the second (in Pradelles-Cabardès). A pure pleasure. Tenants should know that Adrien and Emma's large farm (sheepfold?) houses two gites, one (which we occupied) and the other for 6 people, who share common areas, a nice garden and a beautiful terrace (each benefiting however from a private part with outdoor table and chairs). This is to say that at times, you may not be alone. We lived with a Spanish family in a friendly atmosphere.

Great location. We had bicycles and wanted direct access to the Canal du Midi. Myriam’s place is right next to a small bridge which allows you to cross over from the apartment on the north side to the cycle route on the south side.

We had a magical 5 day stay at Le Moulin Vert, would highly HIGHLY recommend! The house itself is beautifully decorated, really well stocked kitchen, spacious living area and comfy seating inside and out on the veranda. The views of the mill pond were second-to-none in the evenings, and loved exploring the extensive gardens and river swimming spots round the property. Nicki & Brendan gave great local recommendations so no extra planning needed! It was an enchanting and relaxing experience in a very special space.

We had a fantastic holiday in the most beautiful accommodation and setting that we have ever stayed (and we like nice places 👌). The rural and peaceful setting is idilic, the house is so charming and Gilles was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay! We can’t wait to return, thank you for opening up your home and making us feel welcome ❤️

Mehdi is very kind. The cottage is beautiful and with all the necessities available. The decor is very neat. Mehdi takes care of his guests with nice touches and good advice (small grocery store, book explaining the cottage and what to do in the surroundings, etc.)

the stay was fine. rooms were spacious, beautiful and wonderfully clean. The private swimming pool (indoor) is definitely recommended. We have made wonderful use of it.

A magical and wonderful experience! We were amazed and blown away by this superb accommodation that incorporates so many elements, details of the saga... We 10000000% recommend the place for Harry Potter fans like us, to do and do again! On the other hand, for the clumsy/calamities like me, be careful because for my part I accidentally broke a small glass that was part of the decor... I feel so bad... but hey, by being very careful there is no reason!

good value for self contained flat close to Carcassonne and the haut languedoc. very clean, great shower, fast broadband, comfy bed, towels, all the utensils etc you might need, even shower gel and olive oil and coffee for the machine, very thoughtful.

A lovely apartment in an amazing location. Great views. Nice balcony. Great bathroom. It was a joy to stay in the citadel of Carcassonne. For us it was a perfect place to stay. The apartment is up two flights of spiral staircases but we had no problems getting our bags in and out.

Great location, right by all the lovely shops and cafes. Apartment easy to access and was safe. Apartment was clean and clutter free, just as the pictures. The host was very proactive and checked in to remind us that we could contact should we need or want anything. Had a fabulous break and would definitely stay again, hopefully be back autumn for another weekend getaway! Parfait!

We had a fantastic stay here for iur trip to Toulouse. The location of the apartment is superb, lots of places nearby to eat and drink, as well as food markets. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive. We would have loved to stay longer and will be back if we can. Thanks Renaud and Mathieu

Our stay at the house was excellent. From the first moment, we were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and care in every detail. It is clear that everything is carefully thought out to make the guest feel comfortable and welcome. We especially want to highlight the service provided by Pere, who was always kind, friendly and very helpful. Her hospitality made a difference and made us feel right at home. Very well hosted by Julien's mom who is adorable. Well-equipped apartment, everything you need is there, even the washing machine. Very good location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants where you can walk. Secure parking, that's great. Julien gave us information about places to visit to discover the region, restaurants, etc. And a small welcome gift was waiting for us, very appreciable! We would recommend it without hesitation.

Very nice studio, well-equipped, the pool is a big bonus. The accommodation was great, the hosts were very responsive and pleasant. No complaints, top notch :)

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in, impeccable cleanliness, incredible smell in the apartment. The terrace is huge with jacuzzi, BBQ, garden furniture… We were able to enjoy the pool without moderation. Morgane is a great host, she thought of everything in the small details. She is also always available and very responsive when needed. The residence is rather well located with several shops as well as the beach nearby. Can't wait to come back!!
