Vacation rentals with a sauna in Canal du Midi

A beautifully restored chateau in a wonderful setting. The pool was lovely, the forest walk was accessible by bicycles or walking. There were sheep, chickens, gorgeous landscaped gardens with herbs growing everywhere. It felt like you were living your life in a home away from home. I just wished we had booked a unit with a garden or been offered one, as we had our dog with us. It would have been nice to eat outside our own unit, as apposed to eating upstairs in our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful!

Great location in La Bastide - a walk to La Cite and the river. Easy access to restaurants and shops. The apartment is in an old tannery building and feels very French. There are a lot of decorative items in the apartment that may not appeal to all. Christine was there when we arrived, and met us promptly at the time we were to leave. All of our needs were met, and she was available to be of help.

Beautiful and spacious apartment! Well equipped kitchen, amazing pool & spa area, convenient on site parking, and lots of attractions nearby. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was spotless with a large balcony and magnificent views. The services offered are great with heated indoor and outdoor pool and close to the beach and the restaurant on site where you eat very well. We had a lovely time and a great vacation.

How does one find enough superlatives to describe a phenomenal Airbnb experience? When I chose this rental, I didn’t quite understand that it’s what Americans call a Mother-in-law apartment. Completely private and autonomous yet connected to the hosts’ large home. The apartment overlooks the hosts’ small family farm. Chickens, geese, sheep, vegetables, and flowers and trees galore. Renowned architect Maurice Sauzet designed the structure. Americans will think of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wonderful. Inside you enjoy the ingenuity and dedication to top quality materials, construction, appliances, functionality and beauty. Plenty of storage. Zero clutter. Super-comfortable bed. I spent hours on the patio looking out over the trees and livestock to the snow-capped Pyrénées. Walks up the street to the top of the hill. Star-gazing at night. Discovering the rich history of the region. Please only rent this Airbnb if you’ll respect and appreciate the best in lodging and human kindness!

The house and its amenities were just perfect! The garden is very pleasant, especially with the barbecue to fully enjoy the sunny days. Special mention for the superb wooden sauna, a real plus to relax. It was really nice to arrive and find the beds already made. Everything was spotless from start to finish. I would recommend it in a second!

Our little stay in the accommodation was magical. Quiet, once the front door is closed, time has stopped. Everything is planned to feel good in this cocoon of sweetness and well-being. Small suggestion: a massage table would have been a plus. But great value for money, great services! I won't say more... and leave it to you to discover this charming place. Great weekend thanks to the fantastic accommodation of our hosts who are also very nice, they offered us a bottle of wine that was very appreciated on arrival, gave all the recommendations to visit the city. Frankly nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. The sauna and hot tub were extraordinary. We'll be happy to come back.

Françoise warmly welcomes us to this beautiful place, among the trees. Thanks to the large bay windows, you really feel in touch with nature, while being in this cabin, very well arranged and tasteful! We can see the jaybird, the squirrel, the butterflies... even in overcast weather. And what to say about the pool in this green setting! Natural happiness, very soothing and rejuvenating.
