Apartment vacation rentals in Canal du Midi

Right in the centre of Carcassonne yet the most peaceful / quiet place there is! I had a very lovely time at Barbara's, it felt like a mini-holiday despite staying for work purposes. I tried to find negatives to say but couldn't really find one! Both the apartment and the back-garden are really lovely, I will stay there again when I am next back in Carcassonne.

We had a great time at Stéphane and Michel's place in Toulouse! The apartment was impeccable, great location, and above all very pleasant to stay in, we slept like babies. A big thank you to them for their warm welcome and flexibility for our arrival. A little extra that was very much appreciated: the delicious muffins that were waiting for us when we arrived! Thanks again and see you next time, we hope 😊

From my first communication to our final goodbye our experience was an absolute joy and exceeded my high expectations. A delightfilled and creatively decorated apartment with high quality decor and kitchen appliances above a vibrant street with fabulous restaurants. We slept so well in a comfortable bed and were not disturbed at all due to excellent soundproofing. What more could you ask for? Then the best surprise of all , a truly magnificent breakfast. So delicious and beautifully presented. 🤩Montpellier is a beautiful destination and we chose the perfect accommodation with the perfect hosts. 🙏 for all your kindness . Highly recommend this Airbnb. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. The apartment is unique but felt comfortable and cozy, I felt right at home. Both living room and bedroom has AC units, which I really appreciated. It was very clean, and the listing and pictures were true to what I saw. It was centrally located; even though there were many access points for public transportation, I never had to use them and was able to walk to many points of interest. Pharmacies, boulangeries, convenience stores, top restaurants were all close by. Communication with Jeanne was easy, she was quick with replying. She was also very kind and understanding with my arrival time, as I was delayed multiple times with my arrival. I felt very satisfied with choosing this place to stay, and I would definitely book again!

Interesting multilevel apartment, very comfortable bed.

We absolutely loved this property. The location is ideally located just across from a beautiful park and botanical garden. Very quiet, very safe. Lots of families and close to restaurants, cafe's, etc. The entire apartment was spotless from the kitchen, to the bathroom, furniture, linens, floors, etc. It felt like we were the first ones to stay there. The private rooftop terrace was such a nice place to relax in the evenings. The private garage parking was also a very nice feature, but unfortunately, we booked a larger rental car (BMW X3) and although it fit, I personally wasn't comfortable getting into the narrow entrance so ended up parking on the street. That said, next time in Toulouse, we will rent a smaller car! The hosts were fantastic - the personal check-in is such a nice feature and helpful to really get to know the property. Thank you Brune and Audrey for a wonderful long weekend in Toulouse. I hope we are lucky enough to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Divina luxury suite. Everything is designed to be enjoyed. It's difficult to choose between enjoying the sea and this superb suite 🤩

Accommodation with incredible views of the cathedral! Very responsive and accommodating host for our arrival. The apartment is super nice, beautiful and functional. Tastefully decorated. Everything is very clean and we didn't want for anything. We were located in the heart of the old town so very convenient for visiting and discovering. Recommended ++++

I had a truly wonderful stay at Laurent's apartment. The place is very spacious and tastefully decorated. One of the highlights for me was the beautifully preserved old tiled floors. The amenities were excellent and everything was well thought out to ensure a comfortable stay. I wasn't only there on vacation – I also worked remotely during my stay – and the quiet apartment was an ideal environment for that as well. The location is also exceptional – right next to a lovely park, which in early June was filled with blooming and wonderfully fragrant linden trees. Laurent was an outstanding host – reliable, friendly, and very responsive. He provided helpful tips and local recommendations, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Everything about this experience was perfect, and I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Nathalie’s apartment is everything we expected and more! The view when you walk in is like a painting. It is up many flights of winding, steep stairs with small steps, and we had a little difficulty getting our enormous suitcases full of business attire up and down them, so pack light if you can. This might not be the best place for older or handicapped people. The AC was so refreshing, and the beach is literally across the street. We had so much to do within walking distance that we didn’t take the car out until we left. Nathalie’s recommendations were excellent, and she helped whenever we had questions. We had so much fun and would love to come back! Thank you for such a lovely holiday!

We had a fantastic stay here - the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval castle. It is so easy to step outside and soak in the atmosphere with charming alleyways, plenty of eateries (still some closed in mid-June), and little shops all around. Access to the castle and the walk along the wall (highly recommend) is just minutes away. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with great bathroom facilities and a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed. We did have a bit of trouble finding it at first, but once we reread Marie's instructions it all made sense - be sure to look for Le Rendez-vous above the entrance door. Having free car parking was brilliant, and we didn’t mind the walk up to the apartment. We stayed one night, and found we had enough time to look around, we loved old Carcassonne and it is definitely worth visiting. It was a really memorable stay and we’d thoroughly recommend it.

Patrick’s apt. is conveniently located to go to visit the cathedral, restaurants/cafe, the famous market, view of the canal which is across the street. The thing I liked most is how bright and airy it is, lots of big windows. It felt homey. Also, the gare SNCF is walking distance if you want to sit it nearby towns. Patrick is a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions or issues. I will stay in his apt. again next time I visit Narbonne. Thank you, Patrick!

A charming apartment in a chateau full of character. Everything was top notch from the furnishing to the delightful welcome and attentive service from Thierry. It was also great having access to a swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Have to say this is one of the best AirBnb apartments we've stayed in. Everything was as described, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The balcony area is secluded and quiet. It gets the sun for most of the day and did get hot (it was 38c on one day!) but there is a retractable canopy which helped a bit. We used the shuttle bus from Carcassonne airport to the SNCF station. It's only a 5 min walk from there to the apartment. We were met at the front door by Vincent who gave us the keys and a tour of the accommodation. Vincent was very responsive and we were able to arrange an early check-in given that the apartment wasn't in use on the day before. It's about 3 mins walk to Place Carnot, where there are lots of restaurants and a good vibe but we found the bistros a short walk away from the square, Le Bistrot d'Alice and Le Bis-Troquet, to be better quality and value. We have no hesitation recommending this apartment as a great place to stay.

Had a lovely week at The Secret Garden. The property is recently renovated, spacious and well-equipped with the latest mod cons, though a little more garden furniture would be useful as the appartment can accommodate up to six. It is in the perfect location for exploring Albi's historic centre and the berges du Tarn on foot, being just across the pont vieux. Having garage space for the car so close to the city is a real boon.

Perfect location and stay. The interior and outdoor terraces overlooking Carcassonne were unbeatable. A poetic place where you can really absorb the surroundings and fee like a local. The perfect base to explore Carcassonne and also visit beautiful nearby towns such as Gruissan and Collioure. Can’t wait to return, arguably our favourite airbnb stay to date.

Had a very nice stay in the beautiful surroundings. The cottage stays nice and fresh. It was wonderfully quiet and you had everything you needed nearby. Very pleasant and nice communication with Laetitia who responded quickly and came up with nice tips and ideas for small activities nearby. Really enjoyed it.

Everything is perfect, well thought out, full of details and attention, very clean and super well maintained accommodation. Very quiet, overlooking a private patio, the self check-in is super well done and explained. The description is more than true to reality, every detail is made to delight us. Very nice apartment and patio! Valérie prepares small touches for us on our arrival, it's very pleasant (cool water, tea, coffee available, all the kitchen essentials to make food). Not to mention the luxury of the soft bathrobes, and the dream bedding!!
