We had a great time. The location is excellent because you are in the middle of natural beauty all around. Whether it's a walk, a hike, a bike ride, a swim or a car adventure to visit castles, medieval villages or historical sites of the French resistance. Frédéric is an excellent and gracious host who welcomed us to a special region of the south of France.

We had a great time. The house is functional, beautiful, tastefully decorated. The setting is peaceful, with plenty of walks around without taking the car. Any is welcoming, warm, caring and discreet. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed at La Petite Maison for a month and enjoyed living there very much. It’s well located, an easy walk to the Carmes market, with shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and peaceful, on a pedestrian alley with no traffic noise. The house was comfortable. The bedrooms are a good size, with the master bedroom being spacious. The living room/dining room was plenty big for the two of us, but might feel a little small for larger groups. The kitchen was well-stocked. It’s convenient to have 2 washer/dryer units, as well as an iron and ironing board. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Check-in was simple with the key in the lockbox, and any small issues were handled by the responsive host. Note for Americans: even though the English version of the listing states there are 2 bathrooms, the translation is misleading. In France, “salle de bain” means a sink/shower combination, not what Americans consider a bathroom w/toilet.

Everything has already been said. The fisherman's house is located in an idyllic place and in an Olympian calm. We felt immediately at ease and Denys' welcome was very warm and friendly. Admittedly, some maintenance work is necessary, but as Denys says, various external factors mean that this is not always possible. But the feeling of living in symbiosis with nature makes you forget these small disadvantages.

We had a lovely stay at Hélène's. The apartment, converted from an old farmhouse, offers the comfort and amenities needed for a pleasant stay. It is located in the middle of the fields but at the gates of Castelnaudary. What a pleasure to wake up in the morning facing the roses and the birds chirping! Thanks to Hélène and the dog Jazz for hosting us :-)

Fabien was perfect, very welcoming, available, responsive with lots of helpful tips... in short, a high-quality host and accommodation. We had a great weekend and will be happy to go back! Sarah is very warm and welcoming, with quick responses to any questions during our stay. The place is clean, neat, and well-maintained. You don’t even need to stay indoors—the garden is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy.

this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

We have just returned from a great 5 night break at Patrice's place (Magnolia de Bonheur). The location is really very Impressive indeed. The view from the pool deck is superb. The Gîte was exactly as described and very comfortable. The general property is very rustic and peaceful - totally relaxing and calm. Patrice is a very kind and considerate host and was always responsive and helpful when we had a couple of queries. Les Hauts de Jeanvert is definitely to be recommended. I’ll start by saying that it will be very difficult to give a 5 star review again after spending a week at Le Mas de L’arboras. We came here for our wedding and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was clean, spacious, and even better than the photos. The hosts, Agathe & Alexandre, were incredibly friendly & helpful. We loved the private wine tour of Agathe’s winery, Enclos de la Croix. The dogs were a welcome addition, we even stole one for a night to stay with us because it was so cute. We’d also like to thank Alina, the housekeeper, for an amazing experience. She went above and beyond for us every single day. From rides into town, breakfasts with homemade jam, and lengthy wedding day errands, she was truly a godsend for our wedding day. We can’t wait to come back!

Great long weekend in this sheep farm. The children even managed to disconnect from the screens and enjoy the garden under the magnificent maple and the extraordinary view of Mont Valier. Young and old will be delighted to return for a longer stay in this exceptional place.

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

A wonderful location overlooking the walla of the historic city. Well appointed with all you need to have a fantastic stay. Great to have outside space and a very sociable kitchen perfect for a days away woth friend or family. The fruit and patisseries were si welcome. Sixtine and Christine were wonderful hosts and so responsive. Highly recommended!

Very private, perfectly maintained, an exceptional terrace, carefully furnished, lots of amenities, special congratulations to Roxane... you get the impression that she is available 24/7 as she responds so quickly. We highly recommend it!!

What a gem l'Orangerie is🍊 A super beautiful and stylish stay in a green environment. Equipped with delicious local soaps, products and even the linens and towels smell wonderful.
