Barn with magnificent views of the mountains

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

The Duck Shed, a retreat to explore from.

A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

Within the eco-friendly "La Colline aux Chevreuils", located on the heights of Volvestre facing the Pyrenees, less than an hour from Toulouse. La Cabane du Chevreuil welcomes you to a 4 ha permaculture site for a comfortable, exotic and informative stay in the heart of nature. Optionally in the evening, a platter of 10 varieties of farm cheeses will be served in the cabin or outside to admire the sunset accompanied by salad and wine as well as gourmet homemade desserts.

"Hobbit" House, Les Petits Bonheurs

Unusual accommodation in a "hobbit" atmosphere nestled at the bottom of a wild garden overlooking the city. Access is via a hiking trail (steep). The accommodation consists of a living room with fireplace, a small kitchen, an alcove for the bedroom, a small bathroom, a terrace with views of the valley and the city (1 km away), and new, a wood-heated bath (except summer) Candles and music are available for the atmosphere Ideal romantic getaway or timeless moment!

Cozy Tiny House, quiet, under the oaks

Come and stay alone, as a couple (or with family) in this atypical accommodation. This Tiny House, made of wood, was custom designed, decorated and furnished by me. Located under a beautiful oak tree, it will be the perfect base for discovering the region, or simply relaxing in a quiet corner of greenery. It has all the comforts in a minimalist version: equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, real toilet, mezzanine bedrooms, air conditioning, TV, private garden...

Chez Federico et Pierre: the trapper's refuge

Small 6 m2 house with covered terrace and large hanging hammock, perched among the trees in a quiet setting. First human presence (us!) at 200 m: you will be alone in the middle of the woods. The 300 m walking access includes a steep slope. Coffee and tea are available. We offer homemade meals. Bed linen provided, towels not provided. Communication via Airbnb, because the phone does not get a good signal at our place (in the cabin it's good).

Best view – Le Petit Chalet – Ax-les-Thermes

I fell in love with this little piece of heaven. Magical in winter with the snow covering the cottage, but also in summer. I wanted to offer my guests a more modern atmosphere while preserving the vintage and "natural" aspect of the mountain. You'll feel right at home very quickly. The snow in winter can be intense, but the cottage remains easily accessible (car equipment for snow, mandatory in winter: tire socks/chains/or snow tires🛞)

Le Playras: charming barn, panoramic view

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

1 hour from Toulouse and 10 minutes from Foix, the "Prat de Lacout" estate will seduce you with its calm, beauty and breathtaking view of the Pyrenees. "La Petite Ariégeoise", an unusual charming cabin, built in local wood and natural materials, is a unique design. With an area of 20 m2, it is equipped with multiple amenities for great comfort. On the terrace, relax in the Nordic bath heated by a wood fire and enjoy breakfast in the sun!

The Roulotte - a dream for two.

Les Baillessats - a vacation spot for those who seek peace and love the untouched nature. Our beautiful, old circus wagon (Roulotte) is particularly suitable for individualists. It stands covered and protected on a large meadow at the paddock with fantastic views of the Pyrenees and the Gorges de Galamus. The Roulotte has space for two persons, with double bed, a small integrated kitchen and dining area.

The perfect isolated escape ! This Little cosy cottage is hidden away in the beautiful and largely undiscovered Vallée de Gijou. As an ex-restaurateur I can provide breakfast, lunches, picnics and dinners on order. Nestled in the Haut Languedoc Park between the Southern town of Castres (40 minutes) and world heritage site of Albi (50 minutes).
