Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Berchtesgadener Land

WOW! When we saw the photos of the property during the book, we wondered if reality could catch up with us sobering. But the opposite occurred: It's even nicer on site than in the photos. You can easily check into a feel-good oasis. A warm feeling of home with clean character at the same time, a perfect mix. For me personally, it was a first holiday that was supposed to have a real relaxation frame and had a big share of success in the great Casa. Fireplace set at the touch of a button, leisurely hours on the window sill overlooking the distance and the cable car, then a sauna with mountain panorama and before going to bed - by the way in a great bed - a swimming pool stay. What more could you ask for (or even a woman)? The kitchen offers all the options to take care of yourself. Our dog also felt "bully"comfortable and enjoyed the long walks that are offered around the chalets. Great!!!

Even the welcome by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying at a friends' place.

The place was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We traveled a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

We had a lovely time at Carmen's home It's easy to get the bus to city center which is just 10m ride away.

Amazing views and an otherworldly location in a serene meadow overlooked by the Kehsteinhaus. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Berchtesgaden area. The restaurant which the property is attached to also serves excelled Bavarian food from Wednesday to Sunday.

Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's place is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The place is really nice and there was nothing we missed. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. At any time, she gave personal tips on hikes and local events. One could list much more here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from their own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

The vacation was excellent from start to finish. We immediately felt at home in the apartment. The cleanliness and the very good condition of the apartment let you enjoy the vacation from the first second. And the friendly and helpful landlords are the icing on the cake. They were always there to help us with advice and action and also took their private time in the evening for a cozy chat. Dear Melanie, thank you for the great care during our vacation. I do not even know where to start.Gratitude and excitement fill my heart.Felix is a perfect host, he made this rental with love and understanding of travelers needs.Actually, it is the best place I ever stayed during my travel.Everything done with great taste and thought about guests.Bed and living room couch are just so comfortable , you feel like sleeping on the cloud.Very clean and esthetically decorated, used best materials and furniture quality.I can keep going, but I want to say few words about Felix.He is very kind and friendly person with deep love and expansive knowledge about his magical cit.He took us for a tour of the city for more than 5 hours and it was phenomenal.We fall in love with Salzburg and definitely be back to stay in Felix’s glorious place.Thank you Felix from the bottom of my soul You are wonderful And we consider you a friend .

The place is exactly as described. Beautiful apartment overall. We had a great stay.

We really liked Moritz's (and Marco's) place. The view from the small patio was simply magnificent - overlooking the Watzmann! The apartment is very well equipped, very clean and of course very quiet. We especially liked the large bathroom very much. We lacked nothing there and we would go there again. The communication went great.

Stunning gourmet for the senses. High mountains, lakes, historical places, friendly locale! It doesn’t get much better.

We stayed 4 nights at Sabrina and Christian's. The apartment was very clean and lovingly furnished. We lacked nothing. There are beautiful hiking trails right outside the door and the Predigtstuhlbahn (cable car) is also within walking distance. They were beautiful days. We will be back! 😍

This Airbnb was wonderful for my friends and I! Very clean, and easy walk to restaurants and bus station. Would definitely stay here again. I also felt very safe here as a female traveler. Holger was very good at communicating and helped us with many things. He was a very attentive host and great at communication. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

Everything was perfect! Even the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on with a good mattress. Kitchen super equipped. The terrace is very cozy. Elisabeth is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We would have liked to have spent more time here.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
