Great spot that is 5 minutes from the airport. It is the bottom floor on a two floor apartment but still quiet and private. The fireplace is nice and the lake next to the bnb is beautiful and walking distance. We even saw moose there! 10/10 recommended. Linda was very nice and even had snacks/food for us to enjoy

One thing I learned while visiting Alaska is that everything is expensive. I might have given the value as 4 stars, but Brett was perhaps the best Airbnb host I've had so an extra star for that. We really did enjoy the stay and the bed so very comfy. The place was super clean and the hot tub was great too. Thanks Brett.

What a wonderful place to spend some time in Anchorage. The backyard forest and the access to the coastal trail are amazing. Close to good food and town, but you really feel like you’re in the woods. Jeanne is a great host and her place is a real find!

The spacious living area is furnished with large leather sofas arranged around a patterned area rug. A welcoming sign is displayed on the wall, and the adjacent kitchen bar is visible, featuring high stools. Soft lighting accentuates the cabin decor and wood accents throughout.

This place was very nice and close to the airport which was a plus. We had extenuating circumstance that brought us into Anchorage earlier than expected and this host graciously made a local restaurant recommendation and allowed us to check in a little early. We were very grateful that the host made this exception and enjoyed our comfortable stay. I would recommend this place for others visiting Anchorage.

Great spot, great amenities. We stopped here for a mid-way point during our Alaska roadtrip and it was a super comfy stay with great amenities. Comfy beds, plenty of space to spread out and a washer/dryer. Would stay here again!

Newly renovated Anchorage home

The home is a "second story" beautiful place to stay. Once upstairs the home is one story and is connected and above the hosts primary home. They host were quiet & peaceful. The neighbors were very inviting and one neighbor has a cute highland baby cow. The linen & towels in the home were of great quality and "no expense spared". Recommendation: could assist w/future stays: Add extra blankets to each room, add a set of plastic kitchenware for children (I bought a bowl & cup because I did not want my 4yr old to accidentally break any of the glassware, a knife set (we had a heck of a time cutting a watermelon w/a small knife that was provided), and curtains on the back double glass doors/kitchen window (I felt uncomfortable for people to see inside the home w/full sunlight in the middle of the night. Otherwise the home had everything we needed and was a perfect stay. Nicole was kind to try and accommodate us when our flights were delayed. Thank you I appreciate your kindness.
