Vacation rentals with lake access in Anchorage

We had a great stay! The host (Ken/Stephanie) was very responsive and helpful—when we messaged them late at night about an issue, they replied quickly. Overall the stay was enjoyable, nice quite place, ready clean house with 4 Bed / 2 Baths , overlooking the mountains and the positive experiences we had outweighed the issue. Another highlight was the friendly neighborhood. The neighbors were so kind—they even lent us hiking gear, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, the positive experiences far outweighed the issue we encountered which was solved by Host. I would definitely recommend this place—it's not too far from downtown, offers a quiet environment, and again hosts very responsive and caring.

Kathy's is the ideal spot for folks who want to be close, but not too, to downtown for its activities and dining etc. We enjoyed at the end of the day, sitting on her deck and just watching the lake and mountains. Clean and well kept, the house is very livable. We'll certainly look to see if Kathy's is available when next we visit Anchorage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great accommodations and had everything that we needed. Great host and communication was great. Any questions that we had were quickly replied to. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! Linda and Rick were so friendly and helpful. They are experts of surrounding exploration and fishing. They provided a lot of useful information touring around Anchorage. 100% recommend!

We loved Kristofer and Tiffany’s place! It’s a nice quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. The off street parking is appreciated. The beautiful flower baskets on the porch and fresh flowers on the counter made it feel very welcoming. The house is quite comfortable and well stocked. The views of the lake were a nice treat! The kitchen is large and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and made with nice quality linens, bonus points! A couple simple requests at check out kept things from being too complicated. We had a lovely stay here and would stay again 😊

What a cozy place to land in Anchorage! Our family of four felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. Lynette’s space is well curated and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of travel. Lynette was always available and shows utmost care for her guests. I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little apartment in Alaska! The space was spotless, warm, and well-equipped with everything I needed.The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to snow-capped mountains was a dream. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home.

The place was perfect with everything needed making our stay comfortable. It was 5mins from the airport and a bunch of other food places.

Great location, I was so impressed that we were almost always 6-7 minutes from anything we were trying to do in town. The place was very clean and comfortable, and really loved the layout with the couch at the foot end of the bed with the big TV mounted right there. At one point we messaged Jessica about needing a few things and some sugar and she was nice enough to bring it down to us. A great spot that we plan to book for our future trips while doing baseball tournaments in Anchorage.

Ayannas place was perfectly equipped for my few day stay with my daughter. It had a plethora of amenities and was close to a lot of stores/activities. The neighborhood was walkable as well. Other guest were friendly and respectful during our stay. My favorite part is the immediate at home feeling you get when you walk in. Also the memory foam bed was perfect to sleep in after a long day of traveling. Whether you're just visiting Alaska or from here I'd recommend her place for both short and long term stays. :)

If you're looking for a place that truly feels like home during your time off, this is it. There’s absolutely nothing negative to say—everything was spot on. The location is perfect: peaceful, with a stunning view from the terrace, and conveniently close to everything in town. Alexandra and Forrest were incredibly proactive hosts. We never even had to ask questions—they had already thought of everything. Their local recommendations were spot-on and made our stay even better. The home itself is cozy and welcoming, and the hosts made it exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Anchorage. A wonderful location, beautiful place, and kind host. Great spot to unwind with a fire after a day out hiking or experiencing Alaskan nature. I absolutely would recommend this AirBNB to anyone.
