Located on the 3rd floor (walk up) in the Timberline Building, condo is very spacious and in walking distance to the Alyeska resort and several great restaurants and shops. Hiking, biking, or skiing are right outside the front door! The building is typically very quiet, making it great for families or travelers seeking a peaceful reprieve in the great little town of Girdwood. Our fully remodeled mother in law studio unit is 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes to Kincaid Park (1,516.78 acres of trails for cycling, running, hiking, disc golf, or simply taking in the scenery & wildlife). This is the top level of a duplex comfortable for any length stay here in Anchorage. Found in a neighborhood in the U-med district, across from the hospital, walking distance to a Taco Bell, McDonald's, Wendy's and our favorite sushi place, as well as the Campbell Creek Trail—an extremely popular and beautiful cross country skiing trail in the winter and walking/biking/running trail covered in wildflowers and berries in the summer! It follows the creek to a playground .5 mi from the Airbnb.

Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. Alanah was a wonderful host! Great communication before and during the trip. The house was cozy and homey; just like the description and pictures on the listing! We knew exactly what to do, and where supplies were if we needed them. The area was peaceful. Check-in was a breeze, and the house manual was super helpful when I was prepping for the trip.

It was a very peaceful stay, even though you are close to a main road you’re far enough away and tucked in a quiet neighborhood without road noise. They were very accommodating for a young family with an infant, and very fast on responding even while being out of state. Megan kept in contact with me throughout their travels. Definitely will stay again.

One thing I learned while visiting Alaska is that everything is expensive. I might have given the value as 4 stars, but Brett was perhaps the best Airbnb host I've had so an extra star for that. We really did enjoy the stay and the bed so very comfy. The place was super clean and the hot tub was great too. Thanks Brett.

This place was a great find. It’s close to downtown and all restaurants and shopping. Close to a great local grocery store that has great coffee and baked goods. The apt was beautiful with a great outside seating area in the front. The beds were amazing super comfortable and very cozy. Definitely would stay there again.

Wow, we really enjoyed this place. I know we picked it because it was close to fourth but it was actually close to everything fun. The unit itself was wonderful. It was just us 2, but it be great for a group... beautiful kitchen and a huge island...and the surrounding outdoor balcony was crazy big! hope to come back someday and bring my family.
