Waterfront vacation rentals in Anchorage

This cottage/condo was perfect for us as a jumping point to tour around Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, and northeast towards Glacier View. It was nice to arrive from a long flight and not need toilet paper! They had basic kitchen supplies, linens, and even shampoo and conditioner. The decor was cozy and comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. The yard is very picturesque with the sounds of the creek and the nature trail right across the creek. They do have tubes and fishing poles available to use which is also nice. It is on a busy road and while outside you do hear the traffic, inside is quiet. I think a row of Leland cypress facing the road could really help buffer the noise if they are looking to improve that. The place was easy to find and access inside with combination locks. Erik and Amanda were very communicative and even gave us some great suggestions on brunch and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Amazing place to stay! Right in the middle of downtown but it doesn’t feel that way. Peaceful and unobstructed view of the water. Quiet neighborhood as well. Great option!

Great location, nice, clean, safe, private. I would say it’s a tiny bit spendy but well worth it.

Neil’s place was amazing and one of the nicest I’ve stayed at. There’s a creek right behind it, making the whole place feel peaceful and calm. Loved it!

Diane & Jonathon’s apartment was a great place for us to start our Alaskan trip in Anchorage. The location is perfect and has everything you need. Great views of the water and park! Would stay here again.

We had a comfortable stay! The host was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive and made both check-in and check-out seamless. They were also super accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. The location is centrally located near great shops and restaurants, and the property itself has a beautiful yard that backs up to a peaceful creek.

The apartment was located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood surrounded by lots of foliage for privacy as well as beauty. The apartment was clean and functional. Kristen was very responsive with what few questions we had. Would definitely rexommend!!!

A perfect location for a couple of days before our cruise!! Very clean, well appointed and comfortable for 2 couples.

Our stay here was really nice! There were some really thoughtful touches - stocked with shampoo, body wash, etc, umbrellas and hand warmers by the door, a few local beers in the fridge plus a bottle of wine, water, and some snacks in a small basket. It was really clean, and the views of Susitna were amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing spot right by Campbell Creek. Peaceful and out of the way, but still close to all the town things.

This was my first time at John’s place and it was great! It was as expected from pics and description, including the wildlife. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet. John was responsive and friendly without being intrusive. Willing to help if I needed anything. I slept on the king bed and found it very comfy. I traveled with two of my dogs and John was very accommodating by providing covers for furniture, toys, bowls, and even a leash if you forget. I would totally stay here again and plan to!

What a gem is this place! The location is unbeateable and the natural surroundings are just breathtaking. The indoors space was just spectacular, cozy, comforable, elegant and modern. We were able to relax and restore as well as enjoy many of the sights and activities Anchorage has to offer.

If you’re looking for a place to accommodate Old and Young in one spot, this is it! It has a gorgeous view of a lake that can be seen through the dining room, living room and master bedroom windows. We spent quite a bit of time on the small deck off the dining room, but even more time on the larger deck downstairs. It’s absolutely peaceful and serene to sit and watch the lake. I knew I would be cooking quite a bit while staying there so the kitchen was a definite plus. Filled with most things that I needed. The host even told me to let her know if I needed anything extra. The younger age group (in their 20’s) especially enjoyed the downstairs space. There’s an elliptical, ping-pong table, two fun slot machines and a few other games. The huge couch is awesome for watching movies. We would definitely recommend staying here the next time you are looking for a three bedroom two bath in Anchorage.
