Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Worthing

We had a wonderful stay, we had everything we needed and the barn was incredibly dog-friendly, with a secure garden and thoughtful treats for our pup. Fleur’s recommendations for places to visit and eat were spot on, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind.

Great place used for a few days in Brighton. Clean and tidy, and place has character. Nice place to relax in evening. We used JustPark to find a nearby spot to park and then simply used ubers in/out of town for ease. Worked perfectly!

Caroline and Etienne were gracious hosts, we could not have asked for more from our stay. Caroline shared lots of helpful details ahead of the trip and they were kind enough to even pick us up from the local train station which was hugely helpful and so very appreciated. The cottage was picturesque, a charming home that was both traditional but very functional. The details from being provided strawberries and prosecco (among other amenities like fresh bread and milk) were so thoughtful and made our stay extra special. We were in town for a wedding so sadly didn’t explore much of the surrounding area, but the village around us looked beautiful, a chocolate box town with any passers by we interacted with being so friendly and kind. It was fantastic value for money and we hope to be back to enjoy what the area has to offer again soon! Thank you so, so much to you both. We can’t recommend this place enough!

We were 7 - booked for 6! Alexander made everything possible, quickly and easily. When our flight was postponed, we were able to wait longer in the house with our parents (both 85) instead of at the airport. Very friendly and helpful!

We had a lovely time at Sue’s place. We came on the train - so no car. For us it was a 10-15 minute walk from the station, all very easy. The place is beautiful, a lot of character. Plenty of space for everything you’ll bring. Hot tub was a great addition which we loved using most of the nights we were there. Thanks!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family (5 people) and our dog! Charlie was extremely helpful and responsive before and after check-in with local recommendations and assistance with the house. He responded immediately when there was confusion over the wifi password (it had been changed!) and helped us set the right temperatures on the thermostat remotely. He also left goodies in the kitchen for us, our 2 children and our pup, all of whom were very happy! The house was in an excellent location and near wonderful nature reserves, towns, beaches and castles. We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay and would highly recommend his place!

Really enjoyed our couple of days away, shame the weather wasn’t better but the house is a great place to hang out and relax. Even on a rainy day it was light and airy. The garden and surrounding countryside is beautiful with wonderful views. Beds and bedding all very comfortable and easy parking. I’m looking forward to returning!

We had a wonderful NewYears stay at the dolls house, Victoria is a great host, very responsive. The bathrooms are better than a five star hotel, the beds are comfortable, no trouble sleeping, even though you are in the town, it is quiet. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs, all of which are a very short distance away. It was the perfect place to stay! The only downside was the lock box, very difficult to get too. I really want to stress though, this is no fault of Victoria’s, the rules of a grade listed building state the lockbox can’t be near the door. Unfortunately for us Victoria was away when we stayed, so was unable to let us in, she really worried about that, but it was just one of those things. We are already talking about going back again, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Victoria, we really appreciate all your hard work!

My second stay at Tom and Rachel's - and just as enjoyable as the first. Nice locality and easy walk to the station, the sea and Brighton centre. Look forward to booking again for next year!

Great stay - huge apartment much bigger than the pictures looked with brilliant fully equipped kitchen, mega comfy sofa, everything you need. Lovely walks from right out the front door.

The flat is well situated, only a few minutes away from the train station and the city centre, as well as the beachfront. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and tidy, and it was perfect for us during those few days to go around the town.

Really lovely home from home, stunning views of the beach/ ocean. Check-in was very easy due to the clear instructions. We had a lovely restful 2 night would definitely recommend and hopefully go back again. Thank you Julie

The flat is delightfully decorated and very comfortable. The other residents very quiet. Peter was quickly responsive to attend to our needs, whilst maintaining a professional manner. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to base yourself near Chichester. It was cosy but felt spacious for our family of 4. The terrace overlooking the fields made for great mealtimes and an area to relax. Plenty of great places to visit nearby. We particularly enjoyed Bosham (Anchor Bleu for lunch was a standout!), Petworth, Arundel and West Witerring for a blowy beach walk! 5 stars!

This was the perfect location for experiencing all the best parts of Brighton. Very walkable from the station, close to the beach and the Pier and with tons of restaurants and shops within an easy walk.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Emily’s chic, homely and trendy flat. It was perfect for two adults and two children. Peaceful location and a very short walk to amenities. We had everything we needed in the flat. Basic condiments, tea, coffee and milk all gratefully received on our arrival and during our stay. Thank you also for the shower gel and cotton wool! Very comfortable beds! Emily was very responsive and helpful with parking ideas. Would highly recommend this accommodation! Thanks again!

We were staying at Tim's place for few days with grandparents, two young kids and the dog. House is in a great location, few minutes from the beach, shops, playground and some local activities. House was spacious to accommodate us all. Driveway can accommodate up to two cars. Small but nice enclosed garden. Tim was responsive and was on hand to answer queries. :)

A fantastic house in beautiful surroundings. Just perfect for celebrating my 70th birthday with the children and grandchildren. Loads of space for the children to play, although the steep slopes and number of ponds mean careful supervision is required for young children. One of the highlights for the grandchildren was seeing Thomas the Tank engine passing by on the nearby Spa Valley railway.

The house was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed staying here so much we’ve actually already booked to come back! Having access to the beach meant being able to quickly pop down with our small children around bedtimes and naps and waking up to the view every morning was magical! The house had everything you could ever need, was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt relaxed the minute we walked inside! Thank you Daisy! X

We loved our stay at the beach. Such a beautiful location and so different than our sand beaches we have in the US. The rocky beach may not be for everyone but it was perfect for us as we weren't going to be swimming in April anyways. The house itself was wonderful and inviting - nothing bad to say about it.

We absolutely loved Joanna's place and had a great weekend. It was extremely comfortable and in the perfect position to enjoy the beach and everything around us. Our dogs were also very happy and the garden was safe and secure for them with a bit of grass. The house is well laid out. The bedroom was comfortable and the linen first class. Joanna was helpful and welcoming and available at all times. Highly recommended!

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

Wow wow wow!!! This property definitely has the wow factor. The views, setting and location are fabulous. You could never tire of looking across the grounds, pool and the creek. The property had everything we needed and perfect for a family with children. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing worth mentioning.

Very lovely accommodation, tidy and clean looked exactly what it looks like in the photos! lovely host, Friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again :)
