Yurt vacation rentals in South West England

The yurt was absolutely beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful, such perfect surroundings. The hot tub was lush and everything felt more rewarding after having to make fires and heat up the stove and hot tub yourself! Pen was communicative, friendly, left us some cider and eggs from her chickens which was a fantastic touch! The bed was comfortable and inside of the yurt had all of the utensils bits you’d need for cooking. It was also very spacious inside and outside of the yurt. Lovely walks nearby and pubs too. Can’t wait to go back again!

What a beautiful place in the middle of perfect nature. We are very busy people and this was the perfect place to unwind and switch off with the children. Location was quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be back. Natasha was a wonderful host checking in and replying to all my messages. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

Our second stay at the yurt, this time in the sunshine, and it was so beautiful! The yurt and facilities were comfortable and had what we needed (it is off grid) but the best bits are the nature, wildlife and the peace 😊 Lots of bees and butterflies and birds, beautiful sunsets and walkable local pubs. We love it here!

I visited the Crab Shack for a long weekend with my Daughter (8) and our little dog... We had a wonderful time! The Crab Shack is a very comfortable place to stay, well located for a short walk into town, with all the amenities we needed. The shower and toilet facilities, a very short walk from the yurt, were impeccably clean and the water runs fast and hot in the showers. The local independent pubs in town are friendly, serving good food and drink at a reasonable price, and we were lucky enough to find live music being performed each night. Would strongly recommend taking the short (20 minutes) drive to West Wittering Beach for a beautiful day out... Pizza from Pecorino in East Wittering was fabulous too.

This place was exactly as it says on the tin, it is secluded, private and takes you right back to nature. It was a delight to have some friends around the fire pit catching up and having a good chin wag. When you wake up you are surrounded by the sounds of nature. The trail road to the accommodation is a little bumpy though.

Such a lovely glamping site, everything was thought of, from fire pits to hot water bottles and the children loved going with Sara to feed the animals in the morning. Sara gave us great tips on where to visit on our short stay.

We loved staying at the yurt, the setting was stunning and nice and private. The beds were very warm and comfortable and we fell asleep listening to the owls. The yurt is just a short walk from Selsley Common which has stunning views of the surrounding area.

Gorgeous setting, right next to a stream and a field of sheep! Personally I found that really comforting. The yurt itself was big, and furnished well. There was another yurt on the site, but far away enough so that we were still secluded. Easy to check in, no problems there, very relaxed and private.

Just wow. The most magical week! Thank you Olivia and Grant. For creating such a perfect haven. We absolutely loved our stay, it’s even better than the photos. The yurt is gorgeously decorated, large and cosy - you sink into the bedding. Our little girl declared “best bed ever!!!”. The out doors seating areas are fantastic, ideal for all weather. We had a fire pit each night. The kitchen has everything you need! And the inside bathrooms shower is really warm. Our girls absolutely loved bathing outside!! A real highlight. They went from playing in a private part of the river to bathing under trees. All the additional thoughtful touches are everywhere; crafting (stone painting / willow headdress making), s’more jars ready to be used, local items for pampering with the sauna. We just absolutely loved our stay, couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you again! Zoe and Ruben

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights in the Red Kite Yurt. We absolutely loved our stay. I was very impressed with how clean everything was despite being surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and BBQ. We were provided with plenty of wood to use which was a nice suprise. The bathroom and shower is a short walk away and has wonderful bath products to use. We also enjoyed our box of pastries provided by the hosts along with some fresh milk. The yurt is very cozy and peaceful to stay in. There is plenty of space for storage and comfort. We enjoyed exploring the grounds of the reserve and relaxing on the hammocks. The reserve is in an excellent location to visit other local sites! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family to come and stay.

what an amazing place! Roehaven is such a beautiful Yurt and we felt like we had the whole field and place to ourselves. Sat looking over the meadow field in the evening as the sun went down was lovely. having your very own flushing toilet and shower was amazing for such an off grid experience. this place was everything we would look for. we took our own solar lights and solar panel and battery so we could charge our own phones etc but there were solar lights already there. Francoise and John were amazing hosts. so helpful and responsive to any questions, they are really lovely people, so nice to just stop and chat to them. this is such a beautiful place and so close to everything. 15 mins to Bude and a bit more to our favourite beach, Sandymouth. our children loved exploring round the big field and playing with our dog. it was really lovely to have the log burner to take the chill off when needed. beautiful place we will definitely be back thankyou Francoise and John

We had a lovely stay in our yurt, Anthony was really helpful and kind, and we also felt we had privacy too. The space is wonderful with everything well thought through, we enjoyed a day trip to Aberporth, a very easy drive. Would definitely recommend and come again, xx

On arrival we were met by Sharon who kindly helped us to the Yurt on the golf buggy. The Yurt was beautiful and exactly how it was listed on the booking. The hot tub was fantastic and the shower room was lovely and warm and immaculate. The whole atmosphere was friendly, the owner Mark was fantastic and always happy to help. We ate at a local pub recommended to us which was delightful. Thank you all for your hospitality and the Christmas tree on checking out. We will definitely stay again.

Rachel & Matt were wonderful hosts. Excellent communication and easy to follow instructions. We stayed in Mimi's Yurt and it was absolutely perfect for our peaceful getaway. The outdoor shower and copper bath were amazing, comfortable bed and sofa, kitchen had all the basics, composting toilet ideal, plenty of wood provided for the burner for our 2 nights. We didn't see another soul whilst there and absolutely loved waking to the dawn chorus of all the songbirds! (earplugs were also provided for those who rather not be woken up at sunrise...though I can't imagine why anyone would rather not hear their beautiful song) We look forward to returning again!

we had the best time on our first family holiday with our two small children. the property was beautiful, nature all around us, whimsical, quiet, plenty for kids to do, relaxing and comfortable. Kirsty the manager was SO lovely and helpful really made a difference to our stay, thank you! the owners were very welcoming and lovely too. it was rustic and simple and comfortable exactly what we wanted. short drives to places to explore. really recommend the yurt! thank you again, we are still beaming from our stay.

Such a little gem of a place in a beautiful setting. We felt right at home with our 1 year old and dog and had the most relaxing stay. The accommodation was spacious and clean - I’d say it was a little worn in places but it didn’t take away from our stay, just little things we noticed. Hot tub was an added bonus.

Absolutely lovely 2 night stay. The yurt was very spacious, bed was so comfy and the log burner created such a warm environment. The dogs had a blast, the shower area and kitchen area were fab with all that you need. Would thoroughly recommend staying and you wont be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay with our 2 teenagers and toddler. Lovely views and you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. Hot tub was great shame it’s not included in the overall price but really can’t complain, had an absolutely wonderful time. Julia was very helpful when needed. Will definitely be back.

We had a great break at the Nest! The Yurt was so well equipped and put together, with lots of little touches and well thought out amenities. The garden area was lovely and perfect for our dog to explore, safe in the knowledge it was fully secure. Camilla was a great host and gave us lots of local recommendations. There’s lots within a short drive so was a great location to explore from. We really hope to be back as 2 nights didn’t feel enough here!

Very peaceful stay, slept like a baby hearing the rain on the yurt. Easy to find, host was flexible with our late check in, beautiful yurt, so cosy and beautifully decorated! Wish we could of stayed longer

This was our first glamping experience for my birthday. The yurt and location was lovely, homely and remote which was exactly what we was looking for. Rachel and gavin where so helpful before our stay and during our stay. We order the amazing homemade Dahl to our yurt on evening for dinner and also a breakfast basket this was a lovely touch. Our dog Dave enjoyed his stay within this peaceful setting with places to explore. Perfect location for lands end and the minnick theatre. We was lovely and cosy in the yurt at night. May be back very soon and have recommended this to friends already.

Absolutely the perfect place for us we are so glad to have found you. Such a beautiful, peaceful and private site and we loved the wonderful mix of trees and flower species. And the yurt is a dream, so many lovely touches and warm and cosy despite all that the Welsh weather could throw at us! We'll be back and would love to try out one of the bell tents sometime too 😀 Thank you so much Lloyd and Lindsey for hosting us at your gorgeous place x

We couldn't have had a more peaceful, amazing couple of days if I tried. This place is just incredible, I so didn't want to leave.

Hill Farm was a brilliant place for a family getaway. We took our 3 boys for two night to a beautiful yurt, where we were greeted with fresh farm eggs and beautiful pot plant on the table in our outdoor kitchen. The setup was great - we had everything we needed. Hayley left clear instructions for check in and popped by to say hi, but other than that left us to it for our time there (we had her number in case we needed anything). The area was fantastic - so much to do we couldn't fit it all in. The woodburner kept us warm in the evenings and the tent was comfortable. We did find the beautiful skylight made it hard to get the kids to sleep in the light evenings/ early mornings ( and would recommend eye masks for grownups) but the second night after a day of activity they definitely slept better! We would love to come back another time - we had a lot of fun.
