Bungalow vacation rentals in South West England

A lovely place with an amazing view of the Solent. One afternoon we just spent with the doors open in the sunshine watching the boats come in and out. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed to cook the meals, and everything was clean throughout. A really nice break, and would absolutely recommend.

Highly recommend this cottage. We went as a family to celebrate my mums 80th birthday and it was perfect. Quiet, with stunning surrounding views and a beautiful sunset view. Fab memories that will last forever. Thank you.

This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

Was exactly as described, a lovely bungalow, with beautiful smelling flowers on the path up to the front door. Good place if you want explore Dartmoor (and meet the ponies), and Exeter. The beach in Exmouth was lovely and was very close.

Accommodation is very nice. As per picture it’s same. Very clean . Peaceful place . Near to the attraction by car. Hannah is very helpful and quick responsive. Had very good experience with host and accommodation. Thank you .

Location, location, location Great little find this 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach at Perranporth 👌 Had all we needed in the home making it home from home 2 Great little gardens to chill in and enjoy the sun. Close to town , pubs, shops and restaurants

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. We loved our stay at Otter Rise, unfortunately for us it was just a very short visit. The views and peacefulness were so relaxing. The chocolate cake on arrival went down very well (two teenage boys soon demolished that!) and the bread, milk and marmalade were also very appreciated. Anne was a lovely host, pre-stay communication was brilliant and all of the local information in the book was very useful. The local pub for food was perfect. The accomadation is lovely, clean and homely with everything we needed, including games for evening entertainment. We would love to come again and stay for longer. Thank you Anne

Our only issue with Julies place is that we didn’t schedule to stay longer! Everything you could possibly need here in this private lil escape. We loved the backyard (with the complimentary cat) and the spectacular views. If we ever pass thru again i’d definitely plan to stay a few days here! Julie was amazingly accommodating for us as well.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable home in a great location for exploring Port Isaac and the coastal path. Perfect for our brief, two-night stay.

The bungalow is wonderful, so clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. There is everything you need! The location is perfect with a beautiful view, there is a lot of what to do and see. Thank you very much for welcome box, it was a lovely surprise for us. Our daughter was happy about so many puzzles and table games. We had a brilliant holidays in Amanda’s and Tim’s amazing bungalow!!! We HIGHLY recommend!!!!

A really beautifully presented Airbnb, like new. Located very close to the centre, a few mins walk. Also, a footpath down to the promenade. Also, free parking!

Lesley was the perfect host. Even though she was away herself she responded quickly to a problem sorting it out as quickly as possible. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. The scones on arrival was a lovely kind thought and much appreciated. As disabled, being all on one level with plenty of space in the common areas was a welcome advantage. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely, peaceful stay at Kev and Jo's in Taunton. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we found the airbnb spotless with a welcome pack of local foods and drink. Despite being on their land, the Airbnb is extremely private and you have your own outdoor space. Plenty of great walks, pubs and even a Premier and excellent fish and chips close by. If you're planning to do your own cooking, make sure you take cooking oils / sauces / condiments as these aren't provided.

Straightforward communication and check in/out process was very smooth. Perfect location for attending an event at the sandy cove hotel next door. Lovely south facing garden got lots of sunshine ! Plenty of parking space. Thanks for a great stay.
