Chalet vacation rentals in Portugal

Wir haben 5 Nächte bei Maria verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und man kann tolle Spaziergänge und Wanderungen durch die Wälder machen. Aber man ist auch schnell in Caminha zum Essengehen.

In the beautiful area in the lovely house airy and stylish apartment to stay- we loved it a lot!

We fully agree with all the superlatives in previous reviews: luxurious house at the foot of the forest with breathtaking view of the ocean. Very private and very well maintained. Our children who were studying for exams during the stay pronounced the WIFI excellent and were thankful the house had a separate room with a big desk where one could study, paint, etc. The wooden fire is easy to light and ample wood is provided. The AC wall-heaters provide additional, more than sufficient, heat in case you consider renting as us in late December. The host Jorge was extremely responsive from start to finish. We have stayed at quite a lot of places via airbnb and could say with confidence Jorge’s hospitality was unprecedented. Such a nice person! We have never been to the Açores and Terceira before but after spending 10 days here believe Biscoitos is the best location, especially for people who like hiking, nature and appreciate home cooking in family restaurants! Recommended 100%!

O Sr. Rui foi impecável desde o início. Desde nos ter dado localizações de espaços que nunca descobriríamos por nós mesmos, até ter enviado uma mensagem a prolongar o check-out sem nós pedirmos. A casa em si é agradável, muito pequenina, mais do que 4 pessoas fica difícil, mas estava extremamente limpa e arrumada. Foi-nos oferecida madeira todos os dias para usarmos na salamandra. Serviço 5 estrelas. Recomendo.

Nous tenons à remercier Benedita ( et son cousin) pour sa gentillesse, son accueil chaleureux et tous les bons conseils prodigués. Tout ce qui pouvait être proposé pour nous ravir, concernant notre séjour en ces lieux, l'a été. Nous regrettons simplement de ne pas parler le Portugais pour mieux choisir nos mots et ainsi remercier notre hôte à la hauteur de ses attentions pour nous. Au moment du départ, nous avons par mégarde oublié un cours instant de redonner la clé du logement à Benedita, signe indéniable de notre regret d'avoir à quitter ce merveilleux site...

This was an amazing stay! The Chalet is beautiful and offers tranquility as it is nestled in the mountains and has serene views. Despite being hard to find, it was worth every penny. We would definitely stay there again! Bonus, Carla was an amazing host! She was so helpful in finding the chalet as we got lost twice. Carla and her husband even drove to find us and led us to the Chalet. If we needed anything she seemed to always respond rather quickly. Overall, it was a great stay!

Un petit coin de paradis au milieu de la pampa portugaise, c’est très joli, la piscine est très agréable et l’ambiance est propice au repos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié et regrettons de n’y avoir passé que deux nuits. Casa da Pedra est encore plus jolie que sur les photos. Nous recommandons 😊 Annabella est une personne très agréable et accueillante. Merci

This home was lovely! Clean, spacious, and so historically unique - and located just a short walk from the bridge and University areas. We loved the deck and view. The host was flexible with our arrival time and gave us great restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay at Real in Madeira! Communication was flawless from start to finish, and checking in was a breeze with easy key access. We were welcomed with a generous fruit basket and delicious local products— the local organges and the juicer were just right for the perfect breakfast. The apartment felt brand new and was impeccably maintained. The spacious bathroom with a private sauna was a real treat. Each of the three secluded units is beautifully designed for privacy and comfort. Both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces came with plenty of dry wood, adding a cozy touch. The panoramic ocean views are breathtaking, and the loungers on the pristine lawn invite you to relax and soak it all in. We truly couldn’t have asked for more!

Sehr schöne Villa in Porto Covo mit grosser Terasse. Gut Ausgestattete Küche und schön eingerichtet. Würde das Haus für 7 statt 10 Personen empfehlen, 3 Personen schlafen auf Ausziehbetten, somit wird es in 2 Zimmern ziemlich eng. Ebenfalls gibt es nur ein Badezimmer, dass vom Korridor erreichbar ist. Ansonsten war alles super, Vielen Dank. Preis-Leistung ist super.

Die Unterkunft war ideal für unsere große Gruppe von 17 Personen. Jeder hatte seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit und es gab tolle Gemeinschaftsbereiche. Wir können diese Unterkunft empfehlen. Der Blick über Funchal ist atemberaubend.

What a find! This is a beautiful luxury chalet with spectacular views in total privacy - yet being close enough to amenities a short car trip away. We wanted a base outside of Lisbon for some R&R and this place was perfect. The hosts were great giving us local recommendations and you could tell how much they loved the house also. We will be back for sure!

Leonor has been flexible, kind and always super reactive! She was easy to connect with especially during our stay through phone and did everything to answer any of our requests or needs! We had an amazing stay with my friends. I definitely recommend this place! Thanks again

Beautiful home. Well located. Easily accommodated our family of 12. With off street parking. 5 minute walk to the beach and train station. Grocery store, bakery, restaurants, banks all very close. Rick was very helpful and responsive. Will definitely return.

Me pareció que la casa está mejor en realidad que lo que aparece en las fotos. Todas las habitaciones tienen baño propio, la cocina bien equipada. El jardín muy bien cuidado y la piscina tiene 3 alturas, ideal para ir con niños. La casa está un poco apartada del pueblo pero a 10 minutos en coche hay todo lo necesario. Sin duda, repetiría.

Passei dois dias magníficos com a minha família à Casa dos Vinhais. O anfitrião, o José, é muito simpático, atento e prestável e fomos optimamente recebidos por ele. A casa é realmente especial com os móveis e louças antigas da família com a sala muito agradável e os quartos muito queridos. Aqui sente-se e respira-se a história. A vista da casa para o rio Douro é linda e nós não pudemos aproveitar para banhar no rio mas, nos meses mais quentes, daria para aproveitar bem o exterior. Podemos pedir para fazer o jantar lá em casa e o bacalhau com natas e a alheira preparado pelo José e Graça foi divinal. Para além disso, o pequeno-almoco está incluído na estadia e é mesmo delicioso! Espero voltar de novo aqui a esta casa. Obrigada por tudo!

Pasamos una sola noche pues íbamos de pasada pero nos quedamos con muchas ganas de volver. El entorno es espectacular y la casa tiene de todo!. 100% recomendable si buscas un sitio tranquilo con todas las comodidades. Habitaciones amplísimas y la cocina super equipada. Zelia un encanto nos recibió como de la familia. Repetiremos!!

Foi uma incrivel surpresa ficar neste pequeno tesouro. A Maria Helena foi uma anfitriã incrivel e explicou tudo direito. Só quem está neste sitio é que realmente sente o quanto especial ele é. Desde as areas comuns, às janelas entre os quartos, sala e cozinha (ate dá gosto lavar a loiça com aquela vista), o tão adorado "rooftop"/terraço, nunca beber um cafe soube tao bem. Para quem precisa de descansar uns dias, este é sem duvida um dos sitios a ficar, 3 dias que pareceram uma semana. Sem duvida que irei voltar!! O nosso agradecimento à D. Emilia que nos recebeu tao bem e sempre disponivel durante a nossa estadia. Muito obrigado Maria Helena 🙂

Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

What an amazing house! The drive is down a steep lane and then you arrive at the wonderful house. Perched by the lake (grassy banks leading down to lake with pontoon with steps) the house is set in the hill surrounded by beautiful trees. An amazing terrace with picture perfect view across the lake. Swimming pool lovely temperature. We are outside on the terrace every night and swam in the lovely lake every day. Vicente was the most wonderful host. He met us to help direct us to the house and showed us around. Any question I had he was quick to reply. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊

Alojamento impecável, nos surpreendeu positivamente em todos os sentidos. Vista espetacular, parecia uma pintura pois ficávamos paralisados só a admirar tanta beleza. Tudo muito funcional para uma estadia confortável. Extremamente limpo e cheiroso com um toque especial de alecrim em todos os cantos que foram acabados de tirar no quintal. Tivemos momentos memoráveis e recomendamos a Casa Azul a todos que queiram passar uns dias calmos e felizes em Montalegre. Obrigada ao Luis pela disponibilidade e carinho conosco.

Beautiful house that is perfectly designed to go with surrounding nature in the area. You feel at home the moment you come in. Luis was extra nice and put the heating on before our arrival as it was cold and raining that day. Very thoughtful host indeed. Luis understands that those little gestures make his guests feel cosy and comfortable the moment they enter his place.
