Sinikka's place was incredible, we are so happy that we were able to stay there. The house felt very homey and we enjoyed the sauna very much! The location is perfect, away from the city center, with beautiful nature around and a bus stop to the city center or Santa's village 5 minutes away on foot. The frozen river is a few steps away, and we were able to go enjoy the aurora from there with little light pollution, what an unforgettable experience! There is a groceries shop nearby too. Sinikka was extremely helpful and reactive by message. I will recommend this place and host to anyone who wants to stay for a few days in Rovaniemi!

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely warm, welcoming house. The kitchen had everything you'd need for preparing meals. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for a family to relax.

This house exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and spacious it was—better than the photos could ever capture. The décor was tasteful, the amenities were top-notch, and everything was immaculately clean. The location was perfect—peaceful yet convenient for exploring the area. Maria thought of every detail, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches like blankets and candles for relaxing evenings. Maria was the most helpful and knowledgeable host. Whenever we had questions, she responded quickly and with such warmth and care. It’s clear that she genuinely loves hosting and making her guests feel welcome. We truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

We were 2 families with 2 children each there. The space was sufficient, everything was very clean, you felt immediately comfortable. The city was a 45-minute walk away, but buses also run regularly and the bus stop is only a few minutes away. The only small negative point, the pots were too small for 8 people. Otherwise, everything was generous.

The cabin was actually much better than we originally anticipated. It was lovely, surely retro and rustic but very charming and much bigger than the photos suggested. Many features had been clearly updated vs the photos. I would definitely stay here again. View to Pyhätunturi from the backyard deck was spectacular, and if you do cross country skiing there’s easy access to the tracks. You need however a car to access the skiing slopes (very short ride).

Loved our stay at Reijo's place. His neighbour Ella was available to help and showed us round, really helpful. We were 10 - 15 minutes from all the main attractions, so we're perfectly located. Reijo's place had everything you could ever need, which made it really easy! Even had loads of sledges for the kids which they loved! Couldn't believe how lucky we were to have the most magical stay here. highly recommend!

I stayed with my daughter for 5days. Jorma is super kind and helpful.And his wife too. We experienced authentic Lapland life.We enjoyed dog sled,kicking,hiking,cooking with them. Luckily,I could see northern light from lakeside. Each meal was delicious. Watching the color of the lake change over time was so relaxed me. If you want to escape from busy place,it is a best place to chill out. Also,He told me a lot of things；Finish nature,history,mythology,indigenous people and his family. I'd like to thank you for all of you!

We loved our stay with Pierre and Maria . The house, an old school that they have been able to restore while keeping its soul, is in a beautiful place in the middle of nature, we even had the chance to observe an aurora borealis . Many activities proposed by Pierre and Maria ( cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming ...).Pierre and Maria were at the care with us. We had the chance to share a traditional meal that was delicious. They are very attentive hosts with whom we had very interesting discussions and had a great time.

You can only feel completely comfortable in this very comfortable and tastefully furnished large house! Everything has a good style, everything is there - really everything: in the kitchen you can cook, bake, bake, toast - prepare everything your heart desires. The bathroom has a great drying cabinet for wet clothes, a new washing machine, and sauna and shower are optimal. Bedrooms and closet are spacious beds good. The living space is open and plenty of space. It would be ideal if wifi were available. But the most beautiful is the large soapstone stove, which - in addition to the underfloor heating - provides warmth and coziness. Wood for oven and sauna is available. The location directly on the wonderful and beautifully articulated lake (about 15 m) is ideal and offers a wonderful view. We were there in the Tiefwinter and had a snowy, quiet and nice time. Unfortunately, this time without aurora! Bring your own snowshoes, etc. Jenny described the way to us super well - there was an ice road - and went above and beyond to make sure we had a warm and beautiful welcome. She even provided a little Christmas decoration and Christmas chocolate. Jenny was directly and easily responsive to questions; she is a super host!

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Enjoyed our stay with our 2 young children who absolutely loved the apartment, especially the climbing wall and rings in their room. A lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the Santa Park and Santa Claus Village. The scenery and surrounding lake was stunning, especially in the snow. Anna was great host always on hand to answer any questions on the run up to our stay and during. Anna gave lots of practical advice and really helped us arrange our time and travel arrangements well. I really couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Anna!

Beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable beds and the sauna was great to use every night! Sledding in the front was also a huge highlight!

Saana' place is a tastefully built and well appointed cottage on a pine forest slope. Prompt responses to our queries from Saana. The ski trail is 50 meters up the slope and we all skied every day during our week there. Weather happened to be perfect for skiing, which wasn't at all sure to happen after some warm weeks. The cabin feels private, on a road with only a few other other cabins, you need a car to get groceries. But you can ski to several cafes on the extensive trail system for coffee or lunch, they close early. We had three generations in our group and we all enjoyed it.

We had a nice stay in this log home in the forest, clean and spacious. We loved the sauna!

The two hosts are extremely nice and make you feel at home. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need. The sauna is an extraordinary plus, equipped with everything. The place is enchanting, in absolute peace, with a breathtaking view perfect for watching the dawn.

The cabin exactly matched the description. A cozy and well-equipped cottage was perfect for our needs. The ski track left the corner of the cottage. A very clean house, super nice, warm, in private and quiet places, the slopes next door, the Cal 5 min walk, the Aureola clearly visible, sauna inside with accessible access outside. I highly recommend it, and we'll be happy to come back next time!
