A place like this is not often encountered on Airbnb. A log cabin over 130 years old in the heritage landscape of Suvio takes its residents on a time trip to a 19th-century hut village. The property is best suited for a lover of Lapland's nature, history, and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter and no mosquitoes in the summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Good vibrations and great ambience in this true ski in ski out lodge in the hearth of authentic Pyhä. Tunturi Lodge is located only 50 m from the slopes and ski trails. Restaurants, grocery store and Naava Nature Center are all within 250 m, the national parks and wilderness are practically outside the door. The log cottage has one sofabed downstairs, an open bedroom upstairs and a private, newly renovated sauna. No big roads nearby. Possibility to rent our 7 neighbour lodges (max 31 persons).

No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Well-equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom and sauna, fireplace, dishwasher and washing machine. Pets welcome. National park trails, ski slopes and a ski resort are in the immediate vicinity. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santavillage 130 km. There is a bus connection from Rovaniemi to Pyhätynturi.

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
