You don't often come across a place like this on Airbnb. The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

Kelorivitala cottage in Pyhä, good and quiet location by the road. The window overlooks a small forest, ski trails and slopes. Hiking trails and services are nearby. The cottage has original charm, with a new beautiful interior. Good kitchen. You can sleep downstairs or in the loft. The stairs to the loft are steep. The cottage has wifi, a 43" TV and the radio has a bluetooth connection. The fireplace is not in use. The cottage has a good sauna, washing machine and drying cabinet. Linen and final cleaning are included in the price.

Perfect location for outdoor activities all seasons. 4km to ski resort and services. 300m to XC ski tracks. We provide basic essentials, such as, soap, toilet paper, blankets and pillows. AirBnB pricing includes one cleaning service upon check out and bed sheet and towel set for each. You do not need to bring them please.

Distance to Rovaniemi and Santavillage 130 km. There is a bus connection from Rovaniemi to Pyhätynturi.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village.
