Down the block from Tulane - Uptown

SusanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had a great stay at Alicia's place during Tulane's Bookfest 2025. My Tulane student lives off-campus less than 2 blocks from this home, so it was convenient to connect every day and to walk to campus together. It is worth noting (and the listing notes this) that there isn't a full kitchen. Just a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. But my student had a list of restaurants to visit and we went out and about every day, so we didn't need more. The fridge was great for keeping cold waters and leftovers! Nicely updated bathroom. Nice, simple furnishings. Had everything we needed. We had a little trouble getting in the gate the first day, but the owner was very responsive and the gate worked every day after that first day. We also enjoyed petting the resident dogs on our way in or out. Very sweet and friendly. I had a rental car and always found parking right out front or on the side street next to the house. All in all, would recommend, especially for parent visits like mine!

Pet Friendly Maison du Madison

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

A Sweet Suite on Bayou St. John

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a wonderful place to stay in New Orleans! It has all the New Orleans charm -- both the unit itself and the neighborhood -- without any of the craziness of many other neighborhoods. We loved staying there! And, we highly recommend it. When get back to New Orleans, we would love to stay there again. Thank you, Lydia!

Uptown Gem

KatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jacob's place was wonderful and he is a very responsive host. It's located in a great, walkable location with lots of delicious restaurants nearby. It is also located near the 11 bus line, which made it easy when we wanted to take public transportation. The Airbnb is beautifully renovated and decorated. It is also quite and peaceful. There is a bright street light right outside, so it can be a little bright at night and the blinds are not blackout shades. But we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again!

Cozy 1BR New Orleans Bungalow- close to streetcar!

LoganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Nice quiet spot to relax when youre not exploring the city. The street car is easy enough to catch but a heads up, there is currently working being done on the tracks so you can't ride the St. Charles line all the way to canal without also hitching onto a connector bus, which was a little inconsistent. Mel is a great host.

1926 Guest Cottage at the River

FeleciaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I spent 10 days in Jules lovely AirBnb. I'm from Seattle and traveled to Covington, Louisiana for surgery. It was the perfect place to spend the beginning stages of my recovery :) My mother and Partner were along for the trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time in this space. Although we didnt take advantage of the walkability of the location, it was so wonderful to be surrounded by trees and also be right in the heart of town. so close to anything we needed during our stay. Our bed was extremely comfortable and made me feel so cozy during bedrest. Jules and William are excellent hosts! Very quick to respond, always polite, and super helpful. When I travel back to Covington for post-op appointments, I will definitely be booking this space again!

maisonetter tropical was fantastic, as was shanda. the apartment is small but beautiful and contains everything you need for a short new orleans trip and it's close to a lot of nightlife places and restaurants. it's also a great place if you have mold or other environmental sensitivities because it's a new construction and the place is kept spotless. i can't recommend shanda's place enough.

Condo w/ Historic Charm on Popular Magazine Street

I loved staying at Brenda's! The apartment itself was beautiful and charming. Just sitting out on the porch felt like a vacation. The home itself was clean and comfortable, and it was located right on Magazine Street, and easy walk from many shops and restaurants. Brenda communicated clearly, kindly, and proactively. I'd highly recommend this stay!

Sweet Home

JoshuaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Ozue was a phenomenal host, treated us like family. The accommodations were perfect and as beautiful as the photos. On site parking was so great to have and well lit. I was nervous about the location next to the main roads but didn’t hear any of it behind closed doors and that proximity is an actual blessing…we were on the road and across town to the convention center in 15 minutes (and that was with heavy French Quarter traffic)! An absolute wonderful experience!

The Traveler's Respite

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location was perfect for our stay because it was close to family. The bedroom suited our needs with a wardrobe and dresser for our clothes. The bathroom was wonderful and had everything we needed. The outside area was lovely and I sat out by the fountain in the morning with my coffee and enjoyed the surroundings. Parking on the street was not a problem, but we are used to street parking in New Orleans. The little kitchen area had a small refrigerator, sink, dishes, and coffee maker. Pam and Jim had coffee and tea selections and water in the fridge. Some snacks were provided. Best thing was our communication with Pam and Jim. Every text was promptly answered. We did not require much help since we lived in NOLA for several years, but I have no doubt that Jim and Pam would be very helpful if you were unfamiliar with the city. The neighborhood is lovely, safe, and quiet if you are visiting New Orleans.

A Short Walk to the Streetcar

Adorable place with comfort in mind. Well maintained with lots of outdoor lighting to make it safer after dark. The entrance is located in a secure, private yard adding to feeling more secure. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and equipment making it easy to prepare a meal, if you wanted to. Just the right size for one or two persons. I was there during unusual freezing temperatures but the home was toasty warm. I would highly recommend this place

Gingerbread House NOLA

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have stayed in several Airbnb rentals in New Orleans. All were good, but Eve's was by far the best. The house is spotless. The floor plan exceptional in that it lends itself to open areas to relax as well as providing spaces conducive to privacy and even distance work. The back yard and deck area is beautifully landscaped- a great space to enjoy a good book. There are two full and one half bath. The beds are comfortable. We like to bike to many destinations when we are in New Orleans. We usually rely on the Blue Bike System. Eve provided four bikes which were far more convenient. Eve is very responsive, but never overbearing. We will gladly return.

Uptown Cottage blocks from Parade Route + Parking!

LeonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great time celebrating our 24th in NOLA. Frankie was very helpful and engaging. We loved the Uptown location. 1 block from Whole Foods and Magazine St. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Easy to get on the 11 Bus Line to go down town. You are also about a six block walk to St. Charles to get on the Street Car. Down Load the Le Pass app. You are also about a six block walk from the Zoo. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is charming with the colorful and well maintained shotgun homes. We would select Frankie & Kanokporn place again . Thanks , Leon & Annette

Farm House Cottage

JoniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Dalton’s property is a gem. It was the most picturesque cottage just like in the pictures and has the surroundings. We enjoyed biking and saying hello to the horses on the nearby farm, watching cows graze lazily and laughing with the energetic dog who was eager to match our pace from the other side of a neighboring fence. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the decor was gracefully done. One thing to note is there is no central heating here. We loved the proximity to the gulf coast and enjoyed beach hopping from biloxi to Bay st Louis. New Orleans was just over an hour away and the nearest beach was just a little over 20 minutes away. The restaurants in biloxi, Diamondhead and Bay st Louis deserve special mention. We did have a small leak in the faucet during our stay but Dalton came and fixed it as soon as he could. Overall I think this is a fantastic location and Dalton has done a great job making it a special place to create memories.

Gone Festin’: Cozy 2BR/French Quarter & Jazz Fest

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Joe & Ali, your place is perfect! And you two are fantastic hosts - so friendly, helpful & responsive. We stayed for 10 days during JazzFest & it couldn’t have been better. Such a charming Airbnb with lots of sweet touches and all the amenities you could want. Spotlessly clean & so cozy with generous space. The beds are really comfortable. The location is incredible at the intersection of the 7th ward, Bayou St. John & Tremé. There are great restaurants, bakeries, bars & breakfast spots within a 10 min walk. You’ll hear baby Mac & pup Darla playing upstairs in the mornings but we loved the joyful sounds. Already booked for next JazzFest. Thanks Joe & Ali!
