This is a beautiful, well-lit 2 bedroom private apartment in the Broadmoor neighborhood of Uptown, affectionately called "The Heart of New Orleans." Enjoy staying in a quiet neighborhood, yet within a short 5 to 15 minutes of Downtown and the French Quarter, as well as great Uptown locations including St. Charles Avenue, Magazine Street, Audubon Park and the Tulane and Loyola University areas. The house is just as close to Mid City, City Park, and the Fair Grounds, right in the middle of town!

Parking is located on street, steps from the door. Getting around is easy, in addition to taxis and rodeshares, rental bikes are nearby, as well as several bus stops. Renovated 2 bedroom shotgun double, near the historic Marigny neighborhood. Marigny music venues, coffee shops and restaurants start 6 blocks away. One block away is the beautiful Saint Roch Cemetery and Saint Roch Blvd. 1 mile away is the French Quarter. I live on the other side of the double and am happy to make any recommendations! This legally licensed vacation rental has 3 large bedrooms,2 full baths 1 half bath, dining room and kitchen den combo. Large third floor balcony overlooking the garden district. This unit has all the amenities that you would find in your own home The trolley is one block away and magazine street is 3 short blocks. Lots of room to relax and visit with family and friends, large island in the kitchen with sofa and counter chairs. Please note there is a 300-pet fee.

Wonderful space. Clean, bright, cozy. Sit in Sun room or out on back deck with coffee or a glass of wine. Enjoy the beautiful Lakeview Neighborhood. Close to just about everything. City Park and the Lakefront are in biking walking/biking distance. Owners are available as needed. NO PARTIES . NO EVENTS . No smoking!! Sorry I do not rent to locals. (Got "burned" by someone trashing the house and throwing a party)

This bright and charming home was renovated with care and artistry by the owner who lives next door. Walk down Desire St to reach the entry gate to Crescent City Park, take a short drive to Bacchanal fine wine and spirits, roam the eateries and bars of the Bywater neighborhood, and enjoy the across-the-street view of a historic cemetery. 30 to 45 minute walk to the French Quarter, or an 8 minute drive!
