Family-friendly vacation rentals in New Smyrna Beach

This is the third year that our family has chosen Patricia's condo for our summer vacation. She is a friendly host who is easy to communicate with. We love that the condo has a great view and is directly on the beach. We also enjoy the spacious pool area. There is always an abundance of chairs at the pool, so we never feel crowded. The condo itself has plenty of room, so our family of four has space to spread out. The condo was also clean and tidy when we arrived. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future.

The Surf Shack is in a great location, right off of Flagler Ave, and was super clean, well appointed, and very well stocked. Beautiful views from the large sliding glass doors, and also from the balcony. The heated pool was perfect after a day on the beach! The sun and moon rises were amazing as well as all the rocket launches from Cape Canaveral. The pelicans flying at arm’s length were equally astounding. The were so many little pleasantries to enhance our stay that made us feel so special. Although we didn't need anything from the host during our stay, Tania was super friendly and always very responsive to any communication. Not only would I recommend Surf Shack to others, but I will visit again anytime I am in the area! Thanks again for a making us feel so at home.

Great place to stay. Easy enough access to walk to the beach without shoes, shower and hose right off beach access to clean sand off, parking close to door, and the quieter no drive section of the beach. Hope is also very easy to work with and one of the simplest stays I've ever had with Airbnb. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back

Diana's place was perfect for our family of four - and even better than the pictures. View of the ocean was amazing and the beach is wonderful and quiet. Condo was super clean and equipped with everything we needed. Hope to be back someday!

Cute place, easy parking, easy ten minute walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood where it was easy to walk my dog. Would definitely stay here again.

From the time of check in, Naum treated us very friendly and was responsive to any questions we had. His place was just as he decribed it to be. And the views from our deck were beautiful. The sunrise every morning to start the day off right was great. His place was well stocked and included beach items and kitchen and bath items. Truly a great place to visit and we would definately go back. Thanks a bunch Naum for being a great host!

We stayed for the weekend of welcome to Rockville music festival. Sarah’s place provided the perfect retreat after long festival days. Everything was clean and the space was cozy and put us at ease. Any questions or inquiries were answered promptly. The nearby beachfront was an easy walk and provided a beautiful place for us to relax.

Absolutely loved our stay at Karen’s place! It was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the ocean views everyday. It was a great location and quiet stay. I will be back for certain.

This is a great space to have a private beach stay that is right on the water. Everything you need is provided from kitchen, beach toys, chairs, linens, towels. Great stay for a family.

The unit was clean and welcoming. Access to the beach was easy and the views from the 2 balconies were great. The host was extremely generous with amenities (toiletries, pantry items, beach gear, laundry, etc). If you want the full beach experience with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, etc, but are either flying in or don’t have enough vehicle space to bring your own, this is THE place for you!

We really enjoyed our stay in New Smyrna Beach. Cheri was a great host; she even provided a bottle of wine & snacks which were on the table when we arrived. The balcony had a great view of the beach. We enjoyed a number of the local restaurants; Prima Pizza had great pizza and we were able to pick up pizza and take it around the corner to the New Smyrna Beach Brewing Company where we enjoyed some local brews. We had a delicious dinner at Norwood's Treehouse Bar and enjoyed the ambience. There were numerous restaurants close by and Publix was only a couple of miles away for our shopping convenience. (Even without a car, there was market, restaurants and an ice cream shop in the shopping center directly across the street.) We highly recommend this property and host!

I spent hours and hours scouring Airbnb listings to find the perfect space for my family of 4. When I found this place I knew it was the one. We loved how we could walk right out to the white powder sand beach or to the pool. It was the perfect spot to view a rocket launch. If you are looking for a comfortable space with comfy beds, big fluffy pillows, a well stocked kitchen and gorgeous views all day long, you’ve found it! While vacationing we visited Daytona and Cocoa beaches and we preferred this private spot in New Smyrna with a laid back vibe and less crowds. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby and this is close to Flagler, a charming street bursting with cute shops and wonderful restaurants. If I ever return to Florida, I would want to stay here again. It is near a grocery store which is convenient. And, even though it is next to the pool, still a nice quiet spot. So peaceful. We had absolutely everything we needed. Perfect place for our family of five. Well appointed, with a kitchen with all of the needed cookware for nights in. Convenient beach access right from the property. Beautiful pool, and great game room for kids. Multiple restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The only negative during our stay was multiple periods of downtime for one or both elevators. We had no problems climbing 4 flights of stairs, but understand that this could be an issue for some guests. This issue was not at all reflective of Jessica's unit which was outstanding. Overall it is a lovely property. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We had the most amazing stay, the condo was perfectly located on the beach with amazing sunrise views. Pam was an excellent and accommodating host. Everything we needed was in the condo and the beach access was convenient as well as pool was perfect for our family. We would totally stay again and recommend for others to stay
