Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mid Devon District

This place is the most peaceful setting, waking up to a view of the hills, the foliage, the sheep & the cry of the pheasants. It was great! Excellent proximity to trails. Close to town. The space was perfectly appointed, and had all the things we needed to stay comfortably with our 6 month old. I would certainly recommend if you’re needing a recharge in the countryside. And Tanya was quick to respond as needed.

This place has a heart and puts a smile on your face, as soon as you step inside. Cosy and thoughtfully decorated. Smart use of space. High end from the furniture, art work, features, bathroom and kitchenware. Bedrooms offer a Tudor four poster or a quirky, fairytale princess vibe. A fun, restful and peaceful place to stay. Just watch out for the surprisingly high step out of the bath and snug courtyard parking. Great pub in the village for dinner.

The Elms had everything you could think of. The outdoor space was fantastic and there was so much room indoors too from the spacious kitchen to the games room and hot tub. The bedrooms were great for both of our families and the two en suite bathrooms were a bonus. Our host was responsive and provided a wealth of information. Would definitely recommend this property.

A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

We had a wonderful day in this beautiful cottage. We felt right at home as Holly had communicated everything to us beforehand. She was on hand throughout our stay and so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing place. We've just come back from a few nights here and we've had the best time. Perfect place to unwind and have some family time. The house is lovely and cosy and everything was clean. The hot tub looked over some lovely views and the pool table was an added bonus for us. The walks around the grounds were incredible, it's such a beautiful place. We really didn't want to leave, we will be coming back. Thank you so much Mark, Jenny & Amelia, you have been brilliant hosts (along with the dogs and cat 😍).

Lovely place to stay in a quiet spot opposite the park, but very close to the centre of Exeter and everything you would need. Ideal for exploring Exeter.

Really enjoyed our stay with Tina. The apartment is very comfortable and the mattress so soft you'll fall asleep in 2 minutes. We really appreciated the personal surprise touch when we opened the fridge. There was a lovely bottle of wine for us as well as bar of luxury chocolate on the table. We highly recommend Tina as a host if you plan on going to Devon. Easy access to the motorway makes it a must to stay in.

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Had a great break in Heavitree, good location next to a lovely park with a super cafe. Flat had everything thing we needed, lovely courtyard garden. Very comfortable bed, great hosts, very quick to respond, will definitely stay again.

Lovely, clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could wish for. Dan was very accommodating, and quick to answer questions. Very happy.

Very stylish flat. All mod cons including sound system and fun to have a Porsche for decoration. Funky bathroom - huge free standing bath! The location is great, right down by the harbour although the boat yard blocks the view unfortunately. You can walk everywhere is a few minutes. Parking in Topsham is always tricky but this flat is really close to the quayside car park and although it is a bit narrow you can drive right down to the flat to unload your stuff. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay in Pilton - comfortable, clean and as described. Very quiet and lovely soft towels! Easy parking outside, and great access to the coast.

We had a perfect weekend at Phil and Larraine’s. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside seating area and garden was lovely. Our hosts were always available if required but also respectful to our privacy. We felt like the place was ours and settled in from minute one. Thank you Phil & Larraine . Just one more thing - those views WOW!

It’s a great flat in a great location. Slight hiccup with hot water but Dean sorted promptly. Would recommend.

This was a brilliant location and a lovely, quirky property. It’s in the centre of Bridport which has easy access to lots of local attractions. We had a fabulous day and hope to be back next year.

The apartment is lovely, exactly as described and you see in the photos. Easy walk to the beach and town centre where there is everything you need for a seaside break. Beautiful, wide beach with rock pools. Lots to watch and lots tl do. Becky sent regular messages letting us know directions and the entry code etc. There were games inthe apartment and lots of dvds in case of bad weather. If slso has Netflix and Prime. Perfect getaway apartment ❤️

Great little place near central Exeter. Easy to walk to anywhere you’d want to go and the space was very clean.

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was really really lovely and the hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were in the area to visit family and will definitely be recommending David’s place, and we will stay again when we are next visiting in the area. It suited our needs perfectly! We stayed in Julia's in May. The flat was as advertised. It's roomy, spotlessly clean, private and a home from home. It's easily accessible to all the local amenities - train station out front, a stroll to local High St. out back, with lovely shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants and the amazing estuary views. Julia was very friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive. We highly recommend her property, and hope to revisit very soon. Thanks, Julia for a most enjoyable stay.

Really clean, super convenient for uni campus. Super easy instructions to follow, Duncan met me on arrival and explained everything to me. Very lovely, would definitely recommend to stay
