Tiny house vacation rentals in Mid Devon District

Lovely short stay in Bude. Lesley greeted us upon arrival and was welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was well decorated and spotlessly clean. Felt like staying in a high end beach hut, just the right feel for a few days by the beach. Surroundings were peaceful with superb views of the countryside. Really convenient for trips into Bude town, would definitely recommend.

Had the best couple of days staying at the hut, was greeted by Alexandra who was extremely friendly and helpful she showed us the facilities and hut. hut itself was a lovely little place, we could've happily stayed for longer. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again, thanks so much :)

This is our 5th time staying at The Glade. Myself, my son and our pooch love it there. Its so private, quiet and i love to sit amongst the wildlife and bird watch. A nice walk in the woods right beside the hut or just a chilled swing in the hammock. It is our favourite place to unwind. I love how everytime we visit the surroundings look different with the ever changing wildlife. It is as beautiful in winter and rain as it is in the sun and summer. Autumn has to be my favourite. Juliet is a lovely host and is not intrusive in the slightest. However she is very responsive if you need anything. We had a lovely chat this time whilst i was sat bird watching and she told me about a few birds she had seen. What can i say if you need to unwind then this is the place. Comfortable, quiet, homely and warm.

We loved our stay in the shepherd's hut. We wanted a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and it was exactly that. We were rained in for one day but it ended up being our favourite experience- the hut is so cosy, everything you need is to hand, and we could sit and watch the scenery for hours. On the sunnier days there is a short walk to the coast path and the views of the coastline. The toilet and shower is the perfect set up, we also loved the outside bath and the wood stove.

Rosie’s Retreat was absolute heaven. Quiet and private but close to Bude, pubs and beaches, the hut made for the perfect getaway. The view out over the valley was gorgeous, even in the rain sitting inside with the doors open was a delight. Lucy’s instructions were easy to follow and clear, important to get you out to the hut along a small country lane. It was clean and every detail was thought of. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing hideaway.

Such a beautiful spot, so peaceful and remote yet within easy distances of some great places. The hot tub was a big hit with our 3 year old. Absolutely loved it. Thank you

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Another great stay at the Secret Lodge. Perfect location for my daughter’s exam centre plus quiet environment to revise in and comfy bed in the bedroom for a good sleep before exams!

We had a lovely stay at stairway to Devon - Midge. Nathan greeted us on arrival and informed us of everything we needed to know, including recommendations for local walks. The hut has everything you could possibly need, and the wood fired hot tub was an extra bonus. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing get away.

Lovely little cabin; beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Perfect location for easy drives to all kinds of parks and activities. The cabin was clean and had everything a couple could need. Alison was incredibly helpful and supplied us with any extra items we needed. Beautiful view from the living room, plenty of birds and lambs. Perfect spot!

Beautiful setting and a beautifully built log cabin. Peaceful and tranquil. Well worth the money and we will return in the future. Visitors need to visit the anchor inn in seatown for lovely food and drinks

Lovely home, spacious, modern, clean, and well equipped. Easy to find and Suzanne provides clear instructions and recommendations. Good parking. We used it as a base for a wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn which is only a couple of minutes drive or under 20 minutes to walk. There is lots to do in the area (we visited Montacute House 25 mins away by car), and there are some nice walks from the house.

We absolutely loved our 4 day stay at the Little Charred Hut, the location is idyllic right in the middle of the woods, near to a babbling brook, it's completely private with no neighbours or passing traffic, just the sound of the birds! The Hut itself has everything you need, it's very cosy with an extensive verandah (with 2 comfy rocking chairs) giving a feel of more sheltered space, which was great as the weather wasn't perfect the whole time. The surrounding area is so beautiful, and an easy drive away from so many beautiful places to explore. We'd highly recommend this gorgeous little place for an intimate stay in the midst of nature.

This is out 7th stay at Jackie's place and this time was for our minimoon after our wedding on the Saturday and Jackie and Johnny did us proud again, left some balloons, flowers, fizz and a lovely card for our wedding day. We had such a relaxed and stress free break, can't wait to go back again. Thanks again ❤️

We had a perfect weekend here. The home is cosy and private, has a great aesthetic (even better than the pictures) and has everything you need to unplug for a few days. The outdoor seating area and garden are gorgeous and we appreciated the thoughtful additions like the boardgames and coffee machine. Lydia was quick to respond, helpful, and the place was spotless when we arrived. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Ideal "off grid location to get back to nature in a comfortable and cosy cabin. We did not leave the site with wildlife , stream , surrounded by trees just became emersed in the woodland. If you are happy smelling of smoke and bathing in a cold stream plunge pool this is the place for you. Just beware ticks walking in the woods (Vaseline works a treat for removal.) Absolutely loved our night away! Super quiet area with lovely amenities and the bottle of Prosecco and gin was an amazing touch. The hot tub was amazing and the inside of the hut was so rustic and lovely. Hannah was easy to contact and was helpful in every way possible. We’ll definitely be booking again :)

The Hut was a lovely cosy base for our walking break. Loved the outlook, perfect for evening BBQ after a hard day on coastal path or on Exmoor.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, ideal for a quite get away or a base to explore North Cornwall. We were lucky to experience a sunset from the decking, looking out to sea, something we'll never forget. If you enjoy walking, there is direct access to the SWC path, and the walk to Crackington Haven is a perfect way to start the day.👌 Sara is a wonderful host, and made us feel instantly at home, and gave us good advice on the local area. Her recommendation for breakfast at Boscastle farm shop was spot on. By far the most scenic breakfast we've ever had, not to mention the amazing produce. 😋 We are already checking our calendar to see when we can return.

We enjoyed a wonderful night away here, felt so peaceful and idyllic, kids loved the trampoline, hanging out in the swing chair and hammock. We had a BBQ and spent the evening around the fire pit. The tiny house is beautiful and has everything you need, really cosy and comfortable. We wandered around the meadow, what a lovely location.

What a fun stay in the beautiful countryside of North Devon. Everything about our stay was perfect and my 4 year old son loved the farm animals, the playground and heated pool, the games room and the peace and tranquility of the beautiful natural surroundings. In the accommodation were plenty of books and children’s toys - we made wonderful memories. We would definitely recommend Dawn’s farm for a family getaway.
