Tiny house vacation rentals in Mariposa County

This was my second stay at this cozy cabin near Yosemite, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect—just a short drive to the park, which makes it super convenient for exploring. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very responsive and attentive throughout the stay, making the experience smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits to Yosemite. Highly recommend!

Awesome spot and great host!

The location is in a quiet rural neighborhood near a creek. The grounds are woodsy with lots of lovely plants and a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Upon arrival we found fresh baked cookies and fresh cut little flower bouquets. Walking down by the creek scratched our itch for our love of the mountain creeks near our favorite camping area. Inside is a cozy mix of Victorian cottage and modern amenities. It’s close to town for shopping and dining options. Yosemite National Park is an easy 1-1/2 hours away. Kadi is a great host!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

It was such a fun & safe place for our 3 year old. We stayed in a cabin and it was close to the restroom. We had a table right outside and enjoyed family time so much. There was also a burn pit and we enjoyed some s’mores. The manager was so helpful and nice. There is a convenience store close by and they were so nice there. There is also a cafe close by. Don’t forget sheets/bedding! & don’t forget bug spray & sunscreen. Also, Yosemite is like a 35 minute drive! Thank you so much for your beautiful space.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is only about 45 minutes to the entrance of Yosemite and was a beautiful drive. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable with a good amount of space for two people. We enjoyed waking up and seeing all of the farm animals and drinking coffee outside the cabin. Overall, we had such a lovely experience and would love to come back and stay here again!

I'm going to start by saying that this is a beautiful cabin in the woods... in Yosemite! What more can you want for, if you are heading to a National Park!? I have visited other US Parks, and even to Yosemite before, and this was the first private cabin I have stayed at. The cabin decor and some of the amenities may be dated, but served us fine. Every morning we would open the door to trees, or even wild life, and then drive down the road with towering mountains in the distance. Skipping back to the start - we spontaneously booked a trip from the UK with 2 weeks notice and could no way secure an entry reservation for the park. Sharon kindly informed us that booking accommodation within the park exempted us from that. Visiting in winter, we visited "Stage Stop Mini Mart" to rent snow chains (the only rental option to my knowledge). Arriving late, we self checked in and found the cabin by torch light. Would certainly recommend. A wonderful change from a hotel.

Stephanie was an excellent host. Met us at check in to go over home and we greatly appreciated. She even left a little gift for us and our doggie Wrangler. We felt right at home. Highly recommend. Home was clean and as described.

Comfortable chalet that was our base for Yosemite National Park. We love our stay! William and Michelle are very attentive and caring hosts.

What a wonderful little spot! The tiny home was very thoughtfully laid out, comfortable and adorable. the setting could not be better; quiet, private, close to restaurants, activities and of course - Yosemite. The outdoor area really shines on this property. Gorgeous view to enjoy. We used the hot tub and fireplace, both were really easy to operate and shut down. It really set this place apart for us. Also- really comfortable bed! 10/10 Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, well maintained and we appreciated the great wifi connection. We had so much fun playing all the games available. My daughter loved the cute upstairs room—it was the perfect little getaway for her. The cabin was comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for nice retreat!

We only got to stay for a short time, but David&Denise’s place was cute and cozy. We appreciated the special, personalized touches, and love that they shared their story of building the place. Definitely worth the stop, especially if heading into Yosemite like we did.

This was the perfect place for my friend & I to stay while exploring Yosemite for a few days. It’s cute, clean, and comfortable. You get to be fully immersed in nature without being far from town. When we asked for some extra towels, Seth responded and delivered them within minutes! Would definitely stay here again :)

My husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary at Melanie's tiny home and it was the perfect overnight getaway! We loved the area (very private, quiet, and beautiful), and only a few minutes away from Historic Downtown Coarsegold. Our favorite unique things were: the swings hanging underneath a giant, beautiful tree with great sunset mountain views, and the incredibly fun, giant DVD collection they had which we fully utilized in the evening! The space is small, so we wouldn't have brought our children, but it was perfect for just the two of us! It's very cute, nicely decorated, clean, and functional. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was a life saver since we visited in the Summer. If you're wanting to visit Yosemite, or the casinos, or just need a nice mountain getaway that feels secluded, I'd stay here. Thanks again Melanie!

Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and a great spot to come and go to Yosemite NP. Dottie and Roger were friendly, courteous, and extremely responsive - their pets were a pleasure to meet as well.

Our stay was fantastic! The beds were super comfy, and the home was well-organized and nicely furnished. The only drawback was the gravel road, as our 4x4 car had a tough time navigating it. Also, staying for just two nights was a bit pricey.

We cant say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. The space was so clean and tidy and supplied all that we need. The outdoor space is so beautiful, inside was cozy and felt so spacious. Terri & Garrett were fantastic hosts, so quick to respond and left a detailed list of instructions and even a guide to the Yosemite. We love visiting tiny homes and this one may be a new favourite!

Loved our stay! Very cute studio house that has all the amenities you need. We stayed for three nights while hiking in Yosemite and it was perfect!

Buck’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is nice and private, we loved the outdoor shower, our kiddo loved the lofts, and our dog loved all the sniffing and exploring. The pools/falls right down the road were magical and a special treat! It’s a great location for exploring the area.

A perfect stay! Analisa's place was just what my spouse and I needed for a long weekend while we were in town to visit family. The instructions were clear and the tiny home was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed birding from the hot tub and seeing all the wildlife in the early morning. Analisa also let us know we could check in early which worked out perfectly for our travels.
